(60 Minutes Australia) Jan. 11, 2023. Wolfman (2007): From childhood, we're taught to fear and loathe wolves. Just think back, there's the "Big Bad Wolf" of the fairy tales, the werewolves and wolfmen (lycanthropes) in horror flicks, even Wolverine from X-Men -- evil, dangerous, bloodthirsty beasts.

The keystone wolves (wild dogs) of Montana
He's spent 20 years studying them in the wild -- eating, sleeping, living with wolves, trying to learn their language, finding out what makes them so frightening and how to keep them safe and separate from ranchers.

It really is hair-raising stuff. It's no wonder they call him the "Wolfman."
