The God of Israel was/is BAAL, not Yahweh

Kill babies. I love their tender flesh.
(Beyond the Altar) Israel kept worshipping Baal, and the Bible admits it. [Judaism has never been monotheistic; it has always been henotheistic, which is why it changes Gods and claims to only ever have one. Kill more children and send them My way, Israel, and I shall rewardeth y'all in the afterlife, I mean, in the here-and-now with lots of money and land, and as far as the eye can see for "Greater Israel." Join the Movement! Keep worshipping Me. And Moloch, too. All the Canaanites of the Levant love their true gods and wouldn't dream of stopping the blood sacrifices, tribute, and worship...or else.]

Meet the real God of the Bible (video)

Prof. Francesca Stavrakopoulou, Host Derek Lambert (MythVision), Nov. 29, 2023; Sheldon S., Pat Macpherson, Dhr. Seven (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
This is the God, the tribal god of the Jews. Worship Him or die by the Judeo-Christian sword.

The REAL God of the Bible | The most accurate Bible documentary you'll ever see
(MythVision Podcast) In this enlightening documentary, we embark on a journey through time to uncover the hidden history of Yahweh (YHWH), the "God of the Bible," as perceived by his ancient worshippers.

God: An Anatomy
This exploration is rooted in the groundbreaking research of Exeter University Prof. Francesca Stavrakopoulou, as presented in her seminal work God: An Anatomy.

Delving deeply into the ancient Near Eastern context, let's reveal a startling reality: Yahweh, once part of a larger divine family, was not always the solitary figure we are told about today.

Explore the fascinating yet lesser-known aspects of Yahweh's identity: his relationship with his father, El, his consort, Asherah, and his position within a broader pantheon of deities.

This documentary challenges conventional modern views, shedding light on the transformation of Yahweh from a member of a divine assembly to the sole "omnipotent deity" of later monotheistic traditions.

Dr. Francesca Stavrakopoulou, Ph.D.
Prepare to be astonished as we unravel the intricate tapestry of ancient beliefs, rituals, and theological evolutions.

This is a must-watch for those seeking to understand the Bible and the complex origins and evolution of one of the world's most influential deities, thought by fundamentalist Christians to be the only deity.

Whether a Bible reader, scholar, student of history, or simply curious, this documentary promises to be a revelatory and thought-provoking experience, opening eyes to a dimension of biblical history seldom discussed in mainstream discourse.

(Angela's Symposium) Premiered Oct. 26, 2023: No, Samhain is NOT a "Celtic Fire Festival" as contemporary Wiccans and Neo-Pagans often believe. Samhain: The Great Fire of Peace (Scottish folklore)

(Liath Wolf) There is an ancient Celtic festival, brought by the Gaels from Ireland, that has been a part of the western European tradition for thousands of years.

It was the new year. The celebration would last for two days and mark the end of the harvest and the beginning of winter.

During the festival, great fires were built, and in the light of their flame, Druid-like religious leaders would open portals to the otherworld by uncovering great burial mounds and tombs.

Sacrifices and tributes were then made to the dead, and if some tales are to be believed, the spirits of the dead would rise again and join the festivities.

This is the Great Fire of Peace, the Festival of Samhain. The concept of Samhain is thought to have begun in ancient Ireland, and then travelled to Scotland along with the early Gaels.

Here the traditions and practices of the Gaels became eternally interwoven with those of the new land. Not much is known about these early festivals and celebrations, but we do know that Samhain became an integral part of Scottish culture and history.

The Tibetan Book of the Dead (video)

What is the Tibetan Book of the Dead?
(ReligionForBreakfast) The Tibetan Book of the Dead, or the Bardo Thodol, is arguably the most popular Vajrayana Buddhist text in the United States and Europe. Psychologist Carl Jung loved it. So did Beatle John Lennon. But why? What is this text all about?

Thai Nine Emperor Gods Vegan Festival

CC Liu, Natalie Wijlaongporn, Dhr. Seven (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly Wiki edit Vegetarian Festival

Symbol of vegan/vegetarian food
During the festival in Theravada Buddhist Thailand, streets are filled with food stalls offering vegetarian Thai and Chinese food, like buns, dim sums, and mushrooms.

The Nine Emperor Gods Festival (Chinese 九皇爺誕, Jiu Huang Ye Dan, Malay Perayaan Dewa Sembilan Maharaja; Thai เทศกาลกินเจ, Thetsakaan Kin Je) is a nine-day Taoist celebration beginning on the eve of the ninth lunar month of the Chinese calendar.

It is celebrated primarily in Southeast Asian countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand by the Peranakans rather than the entire Overseas Chinese community.

It takes place at the same time as the nine-day Hindu festival called Navaratri.

The Nine Emperor Gods
Jiǔ Huáng Xīng Jūn / Jiǔ Huáng Da Di (九皇星君/九皇大帝) are the nine sons manifested by Father Emperor Zhou Yu Dou Fu Yuan Jun (斗父周御國王天尊) and Mother of the Big Dipper Dou Mu Yuan Jun (斗母元君), who holds the Registrar of Life and Death

The worship of Dou Fu Yuan Jun has declined strongly as proper teachings of Taoism degenerate since being exported out of China.

Today, most Nine Emperor God temples do not acknowledge the existence of Dou Fu Yuan Jun. However, Dou Fu Yuan Jun is invoked alongside Dou Mu Yuan Jun in Great Dipper Honoring ceremonies known as Li Dou (禮斗).

According to Priest Long Hua, the 35th Generation Leader of Long Shan Men Taoist Sect (Singapore), honoring the Northern Dipper stars prolongs one's life, eliminates calamities, and absolves one of bad karma/sins and past debts for oneself and one's family [2].

The term Ye (爺) as in Jiu Huang Ye (九皇爺) loosely translates as "Grandfather," a title worshipers commonly use to bring a more intimate relationship between themselves and the Nine Emperors.

The Nine Emperor Gods should not be confused with the Wang Ye or Princes of the Ming rebels.

Popular folk culture has it that the Nine Emperor Gods are actually sea pirates of the Ming Dynasty who plotted to overthrow the Qing Dynasty.

According to Priest Long Hua, this information is inaccurate and considered derogatory to the actual teachings of Taoism as the Nine Emperor Gods are actually high-ranking Star Lords [celestial devas] who preside over the movement of planets and coordinate mortal Life and Death issues [3].

The Nine Emperors pantheon is formed by the seven stars of the Big Dipper of the North Ursa Major (visible) and two assistant stars (invisible to most people).

The Nine Emperor Stars are:
  1. Tan Lang Tai Xing Jun (貪狼太星君) 1st Star (visible) Bayer: α UMa
  2. Ju Men Yuan Xing Jun (巨門元星君) 2nd Star (visible) Bayer: β UMa
  3. Lu Cun Zhen Xing Jun (祿存貞星君) 3rd Star (visible) Bayer: γ UMa
  4. Wen Qu Niu Xing Jun (文曲紐星君) 4th Star (visible) Bayer: δ UMa
  5. Lian Zhen Gang Xing Jun (玉廉貞綱星君) 5th Star (visible) Bayer: ε UMa
  6. Wu Qu Ji Xing Jun (武曲紀星君) 6th Star (visible) Bayer: ζ UMa
  7. Po Jun Guan Xing Jun (破軍關星君) 7th Star (visible) Bayer: η UMa
  8. Zuo Fu Da Dao Xing Jun (左輔大道星君) 8th Star (invisible)
  9. You Bi Da Dao Xing Jun (右弼大道星君) 9th Star (invisible)
Nine Emperor Gods Festival celebration in popular folk culture
On the eve of the ninth moon, temples of the deities (devas) hold a ceremony to invoke and welcome the nine emperors. Since the arrival of the gods is believed to be through the waterways, processions are held from temples to the seashore or river to symbolize this belief.

Devotees dress in traditional white, carry incense and candles, and await their arrival. A carnival-like atmosphere pervades the temple throughout the nine-day festival.

During this period, the constant tinkling of a prayer bell and chants from the temple priests are heard. Most devotees stay at the temple, eat delicious vegetarian meals, maintain celibacy, and recite prayers in a continuous chant.

It is believed that there will be rain throughout the nine days of the celebration. The ninth day of the festival is its climax. A procession that draws scores of devotees sends the deities (devas) back home.

Celebration in Thailand "Vegetarian Festival"
The characters เจ as often shown on stickers or flags indicate that food is vegetarian. The characters have been stylized to be reminiscent of Chinese writing.

In Thailand, this festival is called thetsakan kin che (เทศกาลกินเจ) or The Vegetarian Festival.

It is celebrated throughout the entire Buddhist country, but the festivities are at their height in Phuket (pronounced \pooh-keht\], where over the half of the population is Peranakans.

The Phuket Vegetarian Festival attracts crowds of Western spectators because of many of the unusual and magical (impossible) religious rituals that are performed [4, 5] for all to see. Young men lance themselves with all kinds of spears, hook, shards, and swords without bleeding or scarring, for example.

Shops in Phuket and throughout Thailand display red and yellow jay (vegetarian) flags to indicate they are serving appropriate vegan food for observant participants [6].

During the festival, food stalls sell Thai and Chinese foods free of all dead animal products. Noodle dishes, stir-fry's, curries, and soups are prepared without flesh, fish sauce, eggs, or dairy.

Realistic vegetarian faux-meats (from the Chinese Buddhist temple kitchen tradition) are used instead. The dishes are prepared without the use of garlic, chili, or strong spices (in accordance with ancient yogic Indian instructions) [7].

The American chef Dan Sriprasert used the vegan recipes he learned to make at his mother's food stall in Nan, Thailand during the festival to create the menu for the popular Green Elephant Vegetarian Bistro in the United States [8]. More

The Ganges River (documentary)

Devi Bhramari (saisathyasai.com)
India is a land of devas and devis, godlings and goddesses. This very Earth is a goddess, Devi Bhoomi (Greek, Gaia). Discover the importance of Ma Ganga, "Mother Ganges," in this spellbinding trip to her origins in the Himalayas.

It is an epic journey to find the source of the Ganges. The expedition reaches the temple of Gangotri where modern Hindus believe the Ganges first appeared on Earth. Farther along the trail continues at Kedarnath, Valley of Flowers, Yamunotri, and Badrinath.

Nanda Devi is India's second highest peak sheltering the Bhyander Valley, home of the remarkable Valley of Flowers. Covered in snow for the majority of the year, it transforms as the snow melts during the short summer. The high meadows become carpeted in spectacular blooms in every color under the Sun (the godling Surya). Fantastic cinematography from the epic series of Ganges.

11-11-11 Portal of Light (video)

Invocation for the New Reality Paradigm
, Wisdom Quarterly
I call upon Mother/Father God, and all the Beings of Light from On High that I personally acknowledge as I align with my Mighty I Am Presence, the Highest Light of Who I Am and Who I have Forever Been.

I now call for a complete activation of the 12 Strand DNA and a clearing of all limited beliefs and patterns I may hold at a cellular level, so I may truly experience myself as this Master Being of Love and Light.
I now call upon the Company of Heaven and my I Am Presence to assist in downloading all the key codes of Light that I am needing in this Now, to take me into unconditional Love and One Unity Consciousness.

I now find myself on the Unity Grid of Light, this crystalline grid of Light, within and around this Earth plane, connected to Mother Earth, and a minimum of one million Light workers along this grid of Light, and all the Beings of Light from On High assisting in this ascension of the Earth.

I am now surrounded in the golden flame of Unity Consciousness, as I merge completely with my I Am Presence. In this energy of Love and Unity Consciousness, I now envisage a spiralling vortex of Light about my aura, combining with all those along the Unity Grid, holding the focus of World Peace, Love, and Unity Consciousness for this new Golden Age.

I now experience this collective Christed Consciousness, opening my heart to all life, recognizing myself as One with all life, One with Mother/Father God.

As I project my Christed Consciousness into the future, I envisage an Earth where all life co-creates in Love and lives fearlessly.

I envisage a world of harmony and abundance for all life on this Earth plane.

I envisage a world of Love and joy for all life on this Earth plane.

I envisage a world of One Unity Consciousness for all life on this Earth plane.

I envisage a world enlightened by the new reality paradigm, the Golden Age of Aquarius.

As this first wave soul in human embodiment of the I Am Avatar Blueprint, I envisage this Blueprint of Light for all life on this Earth plane.

DEVAS: radiant beings

Models wearing body painted art by John Vargas from the United States, right, and Jinny Houle from Canada during the 2008 World Body Painting Festival in Daegu, South Korea, Friday, Aug. 29, 2008 (AP Photo/Ahn Young-joon).

Devas are "deities, "divinities," or "godlings" -- luminous body entities born as a result of skillful karma. Most of the 31 Planes of Existence are inhabited by different grades of devas. On the human plane, bhumi-devas are "earth angels," "faeries," "sylphs," and "dryads."

They live in, above, or dependent on trees. Judging by artists renditions over many centuries, they are similar to young girls with delicate facial features and waifish (or Rubenesque, pre-Raphaelite) bodies.

They inhabit sylvan locations, ocean depths, mountain ranges, and are often found (or at least worshiped) at the confluence of rivers, waterfalls, places of immense natural beauty, and in "enchanted forests," which is only to say "perceived to be inhabited by supernatural beings."

There are, of course, celestial devas in both the Fine Material World as well as the Immaterial Planes. Like brahmas ("gods"), devas are glorious, radiant, resplendent and marked by signs of beauty. They, however, differ one from the other in terms of radiance, longevity, beauty, influence, powers, wisdom, and fortune. This is because all devas are still bound by karma.

In lower heavenly worlds (deva-lokas), when a being is reborn, it is referred to as a devaputra, literally a "son of god." Of course, it's not necessarily a "son," just a being born among devas, much as one born in this world might be called a "son of man." God (Maha Brahma, or "Great Brahma") has a retinue, and beings reborn into that retinue (i.e., "angels") would be devaputras rather than simple inhabitants of that heavenly realm (devas).

There they inhabit celestial mansions, vimanas (UFO-style platforms that are both home and vehicle) or palaces based on their karma. Female devas (devis) are also known as "celestial nymphs."

Lesser celestial devas have a chief or king known as Sakka. However, it is important to note that none of the named characters in this cosmology are individuals so much as posts or positions occupied (through karma) by individuals. Nor are they unique, but rather features of countless world-systems spreading out in all directions.

It is not difficult to make obvious connections to other world-religions. This view of devas -- living in sport, enjoying powers and beauty but plagued by petty jealousies and exploits -- is in line with Indian, Greek, Roman, Celtic, and Pagan pantheons. (Even monotheistic traditions understand that while there may be one ultimate godhead, God, or source, it has countless expressions).

Finally, since devas are superior to humans in many ways, the Buddha is frequently eferred to as a "teacher of gods and men [i.e., devas and humans]." More devas made spiritual attainments than humans even though only human realms give rise to buddhas.

In light of what is known of devas, and inasmuch as artists have acquainted us with bhumi-devas and lower celestial-devas, the following incarnations may suggest the extraordinary results of karma. (Noting that our bodies are results of our past karma).
