(DW Documentary) DW is a German public broadcast service. May 8, 2024: In early 1945, at least 860,000 girls and women in Germany were raped and sexually abused by Allied [American troops and other "good guys" dressed as] soldiers.

The victims, and the children they bore after being raped, suffer trauma to this day. Many remained silent throughout their lives and took their stories to their graves.

The German Army conquered through mainland Europe for six years until early 1945, when World War II was brought to an end on the continent and Hitler's Nazi regime was defeated.

The important thing was that they were using their homosexual impulses to harm the enemy, the neighboring Arabs. unlawfully detained without charge Palestinian Muslims, who they might not consider human, in which case their gay sex acts would be bestiality, or human but gang raped to distribute the responsibility more equitably among the Jewish and therefore "morally superior" uniformed war criminals. They can say we are "the most moral army in the world" because we only rape prisoners to torture them, which is a war crime, but we do it to satisfy our homosexual urges, which is against the Bible, but Netanyahu is okay with it, so it's fine. Or perhaps they can point and say the Nazis raped them, so it's only fair they get to rape, too.

But there’s a chapter in this story that’s been largely forgotten to this day: Hundreds of thousands of children (girls) and women in Germany were sexually abused by Allied soldiers, the so-called "liberators."

Many remained silent out of shame and fear, particularly when the perpetrators were members of Western armies. This documentary hears the stories of some of these victims, talks to their children and grandchildren, as well as hearing from historians who reveal how the trauma has affected them throughout their lives.

This documentary also shows how important it is to confront the taboo head on: After all, sexual violence against females (as well as sodomized males) is still very much part of modern warfare, particularly by American forces stationed around the world at hundreds of unwanted bases from which rapists operate with impunity through legal means of avoiding prosecution for felonies committed in uniform abroad.

Porn and the Teenage Brain

There is a lot of pornography on the Internet. And there are a lot of teenagers with smartphones [accessing that porn].

It seems obvious that teens would watch. But maybe it isn’t.

In The New York Times magazine, Maggie Jones writes that parents underestimate how much pornography their kids watch on their phones.

And many teens who watch porn before taking sex ed or forming sexual relationships end up with skewed ideas about intimacy, consent, and pleasure.

Combine this with mainstream depictions of sex and relationships, and, as Jones writes:

If I can't have Sex Ed in school, I'll teach myself.

These images confound [and confuse] many teenagers about the kinds of sex they want or think they should have [such as masturbation, anime, lesbianism, dating violence, homosexuality, joyful orgasm, incest, rape, beastiality, demeaning sex, consensual relations, use of condoms, orgies, coercion, punishment, Mormonism, sodomy, healthy portrayals, cartoons... -- the good, the bad, the ugly].

In part, that’s because they aren’t always sure what is fake and what is real in porn. Though some told me that porn was fantasy or exaggerated, others said that porn wasn’t real only insofar as it wasn’t typically two lovers having sex on film. Some of those same teenagers assumed the portrayal of how sex and pleasure worked was largely accurate.

That seems to be in keeping with a 2016 survey of 1,001 11-to-16-year-olds in Britain. Of the roughly half who had seen pornography, 53 percent of boys and 39 percent of girls said it was “realistic.”

And in the recent Indiana University national survey, only one in six boys and one in four girls believed that women in online porn were not actually experiencing pleasure: As one suburban high school senior boy told me recently, “I’ve never seen a girl in porn who doesn’t look like she’s having a good time.”

Day by day it’s more difficult to exercise control over what our kids are watching online. They are exposed to grossly distorted visual depictions of sex at very early ages.
 

We think that prohibition and shame are NOT the answer. Instead, we believe education and conversation are.
