.
I did it for the money. Why are they mad?
Sunny Leone condom ad that says "Khelo magar pyaar se [Play with love] this Navratri" stirs controversy. [The playful meaning here is "Whatever you do this holiday, do it with love," nudge-nudge, wink-wink.] The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has accused Sunny Leone of being irresponsible and going to "any level irrespective of pious and religious occasion of Navratri" to earn money.

Indian men have a love-hate relationship with Sunny Leone, the brand ambassador of Manforce condoms.Using sanskaaras their shield, these men harp about how un-sanskaari she is.

This did not go down well with some people.CAIT wrote a letter to the Minister for Consumer Affairs Ram ["God"] Vilas Paswan calling this tactic a "clear irresponsible and immature attempt to boost sales by putting all our cultural value system at stake." CAIT wants the ad to be banned now. More
How conservative Vice President Mike Pence feels about condoms...Ban them!
Why do you and Trump want to BAN condoms? - They're "too modern and too liberal"!
The new [conservative Christian/Puritan] rule allows employers and insurers to decline to provide birth control [like condoms] if doing so violates their "religious beliefs" or "moral convictions"
In America, we get our condoms the old-fashioned way. We steal them.

BBC: Why is a condom ad with Sunny Leone angering Indians?
What's the big deal? Men are hypocrites.
A condom company has been forced to pull down an advertisement promoting their popular Manforce brand ahead of the major Hindu festival of Navratri in the western state of Gujarat after protests by some Indians.
The BBC's Geeta Pandey in Delhi explains the controversy: Just days before the nine-day festival was to begin on Thursday, huge billboards went up in several cities in the state in which the Canadian actress of Indian origin Sunny Leone is seen advising people to "Play this Navratri, but with love [Aa Navratriye ramo, paraantu prem thi]."
OMKrishna, I didn't realize she was a pornstar!
A former porn star who has made a successful transition to the role of leading lady in hit Bollywood movies, Ms. Leone has a massive fan following in India.
And she is now the brand ambassador for Manforce, the country's biggest condom company.
American nuns agree with Rev. Trump and India's conservatives: no condoms!
The advert outraged some conservative Indians who accused the contraceptive firm of "taking marketing to an all-time low."
Many took to social media sites to criticize the "offending advert" and the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) even lodged a complaint with the government, calling for an immediate ban on it.
"This is an irresponsible and immature attempt to boost sales by putting all our cultural values at stake," the organization said in a petition to Consumer Affairs Minister Ram Vilas Paswan.
Speaking to the BBC on Wednesday, CAIT general secretary Praveen Khandelwal said: "Navratri is a pious festival which symbolizes the strength of women [by honoring Goddess/Devi Durga, and linking condoms with the festival is highly objectionable." More
