(23 ABC News | KERO, 4/5/18) Maps have been lying to us all our lives. Yes, even Google Maps -- and there's no reason for it. If the Earth is a globe, then map exactly the shape of the land masses, no excuses. If it is a disk, like the United Nations' logo, then say so. If it is a rectangular plane, then draw things the correct size, and navigators can stick with their mathematical projection maps for navigating. Google Maps are lying and so are fake (CGI) NASA satellite shots.
