It certainly incentivizes him to stay on the streets, where he can deal drugs like fentanyl (a deadly synthetic opioid, brother of the more powerful carfentanyl), Feb. 11, 2022. San Fransicko author Michael Shellenberger discusses the homeless crisis in California and how to solve it. #FoxNews
Los Angeles homeless cleared pre-Super Bowl

(NBC News, Feb. 10, 2022)
Crews have been seen dismantling homeless encampments in Los Angeles, California, in what some think is an effort to sweep the area surrounding the SoFi Stadium (near LAX Airport) ahead of the Super Bowl. Officials say the clean-up has nothing to do with the Big Game but is an effort to address "fire safety concerns." NBC News Guad Venegas spoke with one woman whose filthy encampment under a freeway bridge got cleared away.
