Last Week Tonight: Trump ruins USAID

(LastWeekTonight) USAID: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO). Who's Benny Johnson?
Soft power
in politics (particularly international politics) is the ability to co-opt rather than coerce (in contrast with hard power). It involves shaping the preferences of others through appeal and attraction. Soft power is non-coercive, using culture, political values, and foreign policies to enact change. In 2012, Joseph Nye of Harvard University explained that with soft power, "the best propaganda is not propaganda," further explaining that during the Information Age, "credibility is the scarcest resource"[1]. Pizza Gate was real (Kim Iversen, Ben Swann)

(Kim Iversen) Pizza Gate was REAL: Epstein [who is alive, protected, and watching from his Pedo Island called Li'l St. James] was behind it [for Hillary Clinton, John "Podesta the Molesta," and other high-ranking insiders in power] | with Ben Swann
What is Pizza Gate?
Have some boy "pizza" on camera, or we'll bring our children to use the hot tub with adults.

Oh, right wingers! Wait, it's true!!
"Pizzagate" was laughed off as a mere "conspiracy theory" that went viral during the 2016 U.S. presidential election cycle.

People correctly (as it turns out, according to newly released Epstein Files), claiming that the NYPD had discovered a pedophilia ring linked to members of the Democratic Party while searching through accused child molester Anthony Weiner's emails [1, 2, 3].
  • I love pizza and grape soda *wink*
Tony Weiner is another Jewish convicted sex criminal who was married off to Jewish Hillary Clinton's lesbian sex partner and "personal assistant," Huma Abedin, a young Muslim eager for advancement. They had a child and divorced amid the scandal(s).
  • Weiner was charged and convicted of transferring obscene material to a minor and given 21 months in federal prison, fined $10,000, and required to permanently register as a convicted sex offender.
  • I have elite friends in powerful places, like Israel
On Aug. 28, 2016, the NY Post reported that Weiner had engaged in sexting with another woman, including sending a picture of himself in July 2015 with his toddler son [child of Abedin] sleeping next to him [66]. The NY Times reported the next day that Weiner and his wife intended to separate [67]. Weiner had served as a contributor to NY1, which put him on indefinite leave [68]. On Sept. 21, 2016, the Daily Mail published an article claiming that Weiner had engaged in sexting with a 15-year-old girl [69].
  • I love serving my boss Hillary Rod C
Devices owned by Weiner and his wife Huma Abedin were seized as part of an FBI investigation into the child sex crimes [70]. Emails pertinent to the Hillary Clinton email controversy (Hillary Clinton email controversy) were discovered on Weiner's laptop, prompting FBI Director James Comey to reopen that investigation late into the 2016 US presidential election [71]. On Jan. 31, 2017, The Wall Street Journal reported that federal prosecutors were weighing whether to bring child pornography charges against Weiner over his crimes [72]. On May 19, 2017, The NY Times reported Weiner had surrendered to the FBI that morning, and under a plea bargain he intended to plead guilty to a single charge of transferring obscene material to a minor [73]. Huma Abedin reportedly filed for divorce prior to his guilty plea [74], possibly in an attempt to escape the notoriety. On Sept. 25, 2017, Judge Denise Cote of the Southern District of NY agreed to a plea agreement sentence totaling 21 months in federal prison, three years supervised release, and for Weiner to register as a sex offender [75]. Weiner reported to Federal Medical Center, Devens on Nov. 6 [76]. He was released from prison on Feb. 17, 2019 [77] and was ordered to register as a sex offender in April that year [78].
  • Weiner ran for New York City Council in the 2nd district in 2025, finishing in fourth place in the Democratic primary and losing to Harvey Epstein.
Mmm, little boys are girls will be at the party
It has been extensively covered up by a wide range of officials and mainstream media organizations, including the Washington, D.C. police [2, 3, 4].

The personal email account of [chief accused molestation organizer] John Podesta, Hillary Clinton's campaign chair at the time, was hacked in a spear-phishing attack in March 2016.

Julian Assange's WikiLeaks published those emails in November 2016.

Proponents out to expose PizzaGate correctly claimed those emails contained coded messages that connected several high-ranking Democratic Party officials and U.S. restaurants with U.S. Sec'y of State Hillary Clinton, Pres. Bill Clinton, their powerful friends, and a widespread child sex-trafficking ring.

Nothing to see here, nothing underground either
One of the establishments allegedly involved was the Comet Ping Pong pizzeria in Washington, D.C. [5, 6].

Members of the alt-right, conservative journalists and others who had urged Clinton's prosecution over her use of an unrelated private email server spread the conspiracy theory on social media outlets such as 4chan, 8chan, Reddit, and Twitter [7].

In response, a man from North Carolina traveled to Comet Ping Pong to investigate the conspiracy and fired a rifle inside the restaurant to break the lock on a door to a storage room during his search [8]. In addition, the restaurant's owner and staff received death threats from conspiracy theorists [9].

True power requires trauma: Pharaohs

Why elite scandals never change anything: Prof. Jiang Xueqin

I blackmail. I don't get got. Cohen taught me.
(Prof Jiang Media) Jan. 8, 2026: Modern societies tend to believe that exposure brings accountability — that when scandals surface, power is finally put at risk.

In this lecture, Jiang Xueqin questions this belief. By examining history, political systems, and recurring patterns of elite behavior, Prof. Xueqin argues that scandals rarely dismantle power structures. More often, they reinforce them.

We work for Zionist Israel and get many perks.
Public outrage creates the illusion of justice, while institutions quietly contain the damage, shield their core interests [redact names of powerful participants in crimes], and continue unchanged.

Through a series of high-profile case studies, this discussion explores why exposure so often fails to generate real reform, why moral anger dissipates without consequence, and why modern societies repeatedly confuse visibility with accountability [and there is no real transparency].

What appears to be a moment of truth, Prof. Xueqin suggests, may instead function as a diversion — shifting attention away from structural power toward spectacle.

This video investigates how elite systems endure scandal, why genuine accountability remains structurally elusive, and why societies continue to misplace faith in exposure as a corrective force.
Check out Prof. Jiang Xueqin's recommended books to supplement his ideas:

How to Train the Mind the Samurai Way

Miyamoto Musashi
Miyamoto Musashi (宮本 武蔵, circa 1583–1645) was a Japanese Samurai swordsman, strategist, artist (who drew Hotei Watching a Cockfight shown above), and writer who became renowned through stories of his unique double-bladed swordsmanship and undefeated record in 62 duels [3][a].

Musashi is considered a kensei ("sword saint") of Japan [4]. He was the founder of the Niten Ichi-ryū (Nito Ichi-ryū) style of swordsmanship, and in his final years authored The Book of Five Rings (五輪の書, Go Rin No Sho) and Dokkōdō (獨行道, The Path of Aloneness). More

This method comes from Japanese philosophy about life and works by reshaping the power of the subconscious mind, where resistance, excuses, and hesitation are born. Learn:
  • How to stop negotiating with the mind
  • Why most people fail at self-control despite motivation
  • The real strength and weakness of discipline in mental training
  • Simple Japanese meditation techniques that build inner authority
  • How this approach reflects the eight Japanese habits that can change life
  • A practical way to understand how to maintain discipline in life consistently.
This is not about forcing the mind. It is about training it so that obedience becomes natural.

  • 04:10 – Musashi’s core revelation: We are not our mind
  • 07:40 – Forging obedience the Samurai way (training through resistance)
  • 12:10 – Why big commands fail and small commands win

When Buddhists Attack (Mann)
Some scholars like D.T. Suzuki see the term wu-nien (無念, "without thought," "without recollection," with nien possibly rendered as smṛti, "mindfulness," "memory") as being synonymous to wu-xin [2, 12].

Furthermore, while wunien is common in the texts of the Southern School of Zen, the texts of the Northern School prefer the term "freedom from thought" or "freedom from conceptualization" (離念) [13].

Just do it (without paralysis by analysis)
No-mind (Mushin calligraphy/cathexis-life)
NO-MIND: The term 無心 contains the Chinese character for negation, "not" or "without" (), along with the character for heart-mind (心).

Likewise, in Sanskrit, the term is a compound of the prefix a- (negation) and the word citta (mind, thought, consciousness, heart).

In China, the term came to mean a state in which there is no mental activity, or a mind free of all discrimination and conceptualization, making it similar to the Buddhist Sanskrit term nisprapañca [9] and the Sanskrit term nirvikalpa [10].

The Zen zero is the enso.
Another similar Sanskrit term is amanasikāra ("non-thinking," "mental non-engagement"), which is found in the works of the 11th century tantric Yogi Maitripa [11].

Some scholars also offer other Sanskrit terms as being the source of the Chinese term wunien, including: a-cintya, a-vikalpa, or a-saṃjñā [2]. More

Michael Parenti: RIP to the GOAT (TJDS)

R.I.P. to the GOATMichael Parenti (Wiki)
Those who think they're free just haven't come to the end of their leash. - Michael Parenti

American Marxist scholar, political analyst, historian, and author Michael Parenti has died at the age of 92. He was an outspoken critic of American capitalism, imperialism, and class inequities, whose intellectual works were celebrated around the world. He was the author of over 20 books, including Democracy for the Few and Superpatriotism.
Against Empire: Exposé US Global Domination
“Well, I argue that one of the functions of a capitalist state is to defend capitalism from itself, to defend capitalism from the capitalists. It was Marx — dare we mention him? I hear he’s coming back in style. It was Marx who said one capitalist will kill many other capitalists, that the system begins to consume itself. We see that with Bernard Madoff [Bernie who made off with a lot of other people's money] and the like.…The free market does not work. It’s not free. It’s not really a market; it’s a plunder. And it has to be done away with.” - Michael Parenti

Michael John Parenti (Sept. 30, 1933–Jan. 24, 2026) was an American political scientist, academic historian, and cultural critic who wrote on scholarly and popular subjects. He taught at American universities and also ran for political office [1]. Parenti was well known for his Marxist writings and lectures [2, 3] and was a heroic intellectual of the American Left [4]. Plant now for Tulip Day: garden flowers

Europe: Netherlandstulip mania
The tulip flower reigns supreme as the ultimate harbinger of spring. One awakens one late winter day expecting to gaze once again upon a frozen terrain, but one spies a leafy hint of green. Could it be?

A sign of hope for warmer and more colorful days to come! To achieve this late winter miracle, gardeners will need to plan ahead.

If the best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago, and the second best is right NOW, then the best time to plant a tulip bulb is usually about four to five months before this fateful day.

However, exactly when to purchase and plant tulip bulbs can vary substantially depending on one's climate zone. If someone doesn't know what her USDA plant hardiness zone is, she can identify it with a zip code via the helpful 2023 USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map.

Once s/he has this piece of information, that person can double-check it with a local bulb supplier to know exactly when to plant. More: msn.com
Tulip Mania hits European nation
Tulip Day is observed every year on May 13th. It is a day to celebrate tulips, which are brightly colored, spring-blooming flowers. [Plant NOW for best results.] Tulips originated in Buddhist Central Asia, where they grew wild, though cultivation of the flower began in Turkey (Anatolia) around 1000 A.D. From then on, they became highly prized in the Ottoman Empire, such that they were specially cultivated for the pleasure of the Sultan. The flower’s sojourn to Europe took place in the 16th century when they were planted in the Netherlands for medicinal purposes. [This resulted in tulip mania]. Today, tulips are still heavily associated with the European country. More

Saddest Day of Year: 'Blue Monday' (1/19)

"Those who fail to plan PLAN to fail"

Capitalist salesman Kevin Trudeau says he was initiated into uncle's "The Brotherhood"

Feel the feelings without clinging to them.
There is a saying we should all know. For by knowing it, we can love it and live it. Kevin Trudeau [Hevin' True Dough?] the miracle way to happiness is to take 100% responsibility for everything that happens to us.

"Well, that's impossible!" we may exclaim. "I can't be responsible for what others do to me!" Are we going to wait for them and react accordingly? Wouldn't it be better to act as if everything that happens to us were our fault?

"The buck stops here." If it stops here with me then it starts here with me, too. That is a good and useful way to approach "karma" -- the POWER OF OUR DEEDS TO PRODUCE RESULTS (eventual fruit and immediate mental resultants), now and in the interminable future.

Rather than wasting time wondering if everything is our fault, the advice given to successful Trudeau was to act as if everything were our fault. Love it. Live it. Because when we do, we will see a miracle.

There's no more waiting for the universe or others or anything to do things. It's just us.
  • Blue Monday is on Jan. 19 this year: Blue Monday is the name given to the third Monday in January by former Cardiff University health psychologist [1] Cliff Arnall in 2005 [2, 3, 4]. Prof Arnall is a current member of The British Psychological Society (BPS) [5]. It is said by UK travel company Sky Travel to be the most depressing day of the year. It takes into account weather conditions and only applies to the Northern Hemisphere temperate zones. More

Brppke's Lagoon
For example, say a gal were lost on a desert island in the middle of the sea. Should she wait for lunch, or ruminate about who's to blame for her getting there? Is there anything to learn from being there? Are those coconuts just going to climb down?

Get up, dig for fresh water, find a way to scramble up the palm tree, bring a broken rock to cut down a coconut, which provides purified drinking fluid full of electrolytes and protein rich healthy fats in a delicious gel. Keep the shells. They'll come in handy for lots of things. Take a dip in the sea and gather some seaweed. Lay it out in the sun, which will make it very taste. Then the herb, root, fruit, and vegetable hunt begins. There's gathering to be done. Fire and cooking will come soon, and this forsaken wilderness will be converted into a paradise, a Blue Lagoon (based on the novel The Blue Lagoon).

Oh, but doesn't it feel so much better to feel sorry for ourselves?

What is Blue Monday?

Each January, a certain Monday carries a reputation for being the year’s most emotionally difficult day.

Known as "Blue Monday," it’s often linked with low moods, depleted motivation, and a post-holiday slump.

While the idea started as a publicity stunt, it has since become an annual reminder of something real and important: Mental health matters – especially when days are short and emotions feel heavy. In 2026, Blue Monday falls on January 19th.

Ram Dass (Dr. Richard Alpert) in India, meets guru

What is it? Blue Monday 2026 is observed on the third Monday in January and is often described as “the saddest day of the year.”

The label may be more symbolic than scientific, but the feelings it points to are common. After the holidays, many people experience a dip – financially, emotionally, and physically.

Cold weather, shorter daylight hours, and pressure to stick to resolutions can all contribute. More
