Asking Tibetan Buddhist monks questions

Real Buddhist monks share their BIGGEST mistakes
(Sprouht) July 21, 2024: I asked the Dalai Lama's Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhist monks (lamas) and a nun about their biggest regrets and advice for their younger selves at the Dalai Lama's monastery in Northern India at Dharamshala, in the state of Himachal Pradesh, high in the Himalayas. Here's what I learned.

Where's the Panchen Lama? He's leader No. 2
[Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism is unlike other forms of Buddhism because it is part Esoteric Mahayana Buddhism, which is a form of Hinduism, and part Bon shamanism, which is full of black magic and witchcraft indigenous to the Himalayan region. Tibet was once a great empire reaching from Bangladesh to Mongolia to Hunza Land in Pakistan, encompassing parts of China, Bhutan, Nepal, Ladakh/India, Kashmir, abutting Central Asia.

Mao Zedong mocks the God-King Dalai Lama.
The Tibetan Empire grew rich, had its Vatican at Potala Palace in Lhasa. This angered Communist China, which invaded to depose the Tibetan Empire and "free" its serfs from religion and subservience to state-worship and communism, during the Cultural Revolution of Mao Zedong.]

  • mishandling of the national debt (making it grow),
  • his erratic foreign policy (doing whatever whenever), and
  • his inconsistent stances on social issues (because he's liberal).
Join the exploration as to whether Trump's actions align with traditional conservative values (which they do not) or if he represents a new wave of populism that will say anything and do anything to win votes without keeping his word.

Girlfight: Mykala Skinner vs. Simone Biles

Olympians Simone Biles and MyKayla Skinner's drama explained (people.com)

Simone Biles says she was BLOCKED by former teammate MyKayla Skinner | 2024 Olympics | E! News
(E! News) July 31, 2024: Simone Biles reveals she has seemingly been blocked by former teammate MyKayla Skinner amid Team USA’s Olympic victory. The retired gymnast previously apologized for comments she made about U.S. gymnast’s work ethic. Full story: eonline.com/videos/235984... #simonebiles #teamusa #enews

MyKayla Skinner
, not to be confused with nose twitching McKayla Maroney, is very jealous of the great gold medalist and most winningest Simone Arianne Biles Owens and her Team USA teammates. Or so it seems from recent posts.

(AP) Olympic medal-winning gymnast MyKayla Skinner Harmer is drawing criticism for a since-deleted YouTube video in which she said the U.S. Center for SafeSport is making it difficult for coaches to do their job.

Skinner, who won silver on vault at the Tokyo Olympics, said coaches “can’t get on athletes” out of fear of being reported to SafeSport, an independent entity that handles allegations of abuse from various governing bodies across the U.S. Olympic movement.

“[Coaches] have to be really careful about what they say, which in some ways is really good, but at the same time, to get where you need to be in gymnastics, you have to be…a little aggressive and a little intense,” Skinner said.

The 27-year-old Skinner, who retired after Tokyo, seemed to draw a direct line between the lack of structured coaching and most of the five-woman team [Team USA] that will represent the U.S. at the Paris Olympics. Alkaline diet is the way to good health

The word vegetarian does not come from vegetable but from vegetus (life, growth).
.
All non-starchy vegetables and fruits have an alkaline-forming effect on our body's fluids. Potatoes and bananas are slightly more acidic than most other vegetables and fruits.

For this reason, to be alkaline and healthy, non-starchy fruits, berries, and vegetables form the main bulk of our diet.
Food Combining Myths, Science (nutriplanet.org)
Fortunately, nature has arranged it so that green vegetables, such as kale and broccoli, are not only very alkaline but also superfoods that are nutrient rich.

Most legumes are semi-alkaline, while whole grains are more acidic. Refined grains (like white rice or milled flour) have an acidic effect on the body.

All animal products -- slaughtered flesh, eggs, fish, dairy -- in addition to extracted, process, simplified sugars have an acidifying effect. Therefore, these foods should be eliminated from the diet or greatly reduced.

Go nonviolent and vegan? Not necessarily. For example, a vegan living mainly on protein bars would end up with an acidic and unhealthy bloodstream due to the sugar and grain, while an omnivore eating lots of fruits and vegetables and a small amount of meat and dairy might stay alkaline and healthy.

Food combining for digestion (True Activist)
The body maintains homeostasis (equilibrium), which means a blood pH level of about 7.35-7.46 to maintain good health. We do that by eating a diet of primarily alkaline producing foods, mainly fruits and vegetables. These foods are also the most nutrient dense foods.

There is no need for paleo folks and vegans to go to war in a battle of words regarding what is right or wrong with an alkaline diet. The facts speak for themselves.

In essence, we can become acidic on any diet if we eat too many acid-forming foods: too much animal protein and fats, too much sugar and refined carbs, as well as too many deep-fried foods.
Whether to be a vegan, vegetarian, or omnivore is, in the end, more a question of ethics. We can be healthy with any label, provided we eat alkaline foods.
So if, on the one hand, one dislikes killing animals, impregnating, imprisoning, and otherwise making animals miserable and instead wants to be kinder to them and the planet, then a vegan diet is the healthiest and most environmentally-friendly.

If, on the other hand, one just wants to stay healthy, then junk (processed) foods and animal foods need to be minimized or eliminated altogether. Whatever one eats, the main bulk of our intake needs to be mainly vegetables and fruits.

Mexico's underground world Teotihuacan

An artificial island on Lake Texcoco
Tenochtitlan is an ancient city (Nahuatl altepetl or "city-state") on Lake Texcoco before Columbus and the Conquistadores, modern-day Mexico City. The ancient Aztecs and Maya and other empires in the pre-Columbian Americas.

Underground caverns of Chicomoztoc
This is where the Aztecs arrived, but it is not where they originated. According to their lore, they emerged from a Hollow Earth, the real Aztlan, seven massive underground caverns they called Chicomoztoc.

Just as in ancient Vedic, Buddhist, and Indian lore, the Hollow Earth is segregated into seven planes or divisions. It is not one unified civilization but rather multiple cultures or "tribes" or identities.

What's hidden under the ice of Antarctica?

What's Hidden Under the Ice of Antarctica?
Empire Beneath... (stevequayle.com)
(RealLifeLore) July 12, 2024: Antarctica is not what we are told. It is only recently frozen over, as the Piri Reis map shows. There is no way for them to have known those shorelines, but there they are. When the map was made, either the place was clear of ice or ET technology had ice piercing capabilities. But if the latter is the case, why draw it without the ice when that is all sailors would see when navigating the area. Who can control the weather, who is able to rain down miles of snow? There is life on the continent of Antarctica, human life in underground bases the Nazis built with extraterrestrial help. The name of their settlement, which seems to connect with hollow earth civilizations, known in ancient India as Agartha, is New Schwaben Land, near Argentina, where many Nazi officials escaped to in U-boats (submarines). After all, the Nazis did not lose WWII. That is just the way the narrative was spun so as to continue what the Nazis had arranged and were doing with off-planet intelligences and new weapons and vehicles.

Everyone was WRONG about Genghis Khan
(SciShow) July 27, 2024: There's an oft-quoted statistic that something like 5% of people are related to Genghis Khan. Greatest American for a day: Simone Biles

Team USA raises the American flag after winning gold with Simone Biles Owens in the center

Back, long ago, before Paris, Team USA succeeded. And now Simone Biles wins gold (CNN).
Team USA's Jade Carey (left), Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee, and Simone Biles celebrate after winning gold during the gymnastics team final at Bercy Arena on Tuesday in Paris (Wally Skalij/LA Times).
.
Look, Everybody, I can fly! Gymnast Biles in air
(LA Times) Fans at Bercy Arena wore white T-shirts with the Olympic rings printed across the front. Each ring featured a photo of a U.S. gymnast inside. Underneath, there was a single word: “Redemption.”
This felt like more. It was relief. It was a release. It was gold. The four members of the Olympic team who remembered their Tokyo disappointments rewrote their narratives by leading the United States of America back to gold with a dominant wire-to-wire performance in the team final on Tuesday.

Finishing with an untouchable 171.296 score, the north Americans ran across the floor after Simone Biles clinched the victory on floor, raising the U.S. flag to all sides of the arena and posing for photos.
Three years after withdrawing in the Olympic final because of "mental health" concerns, Biles blew a kiss to the crowd as she saluted the judges after her floor routine. More:

I don't like this slave Jesse Owens fellow.
Her name is Simone [Aryan] Biles OWENS? And no one has noticed the similarity to that other great Olympian, Jesse Owens? He humiliated Hitler, Nazi officials, and white supremacists everywhere as a Black American beating the "master" race and others while Adolf and colleagues sat in the stands having to explain it to themselves. That was the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, Germany. Blacks are better at sports? Diverse Americans are better than monochromatic Germans?

Ha, ha, Hitler! Eat this flag. This one's for Jesse Owens, furor! Go, Team USA, go!

Trump's Christian nationalists: Ziklag exposed

Jesus is Republican, right? And a paid member of the NRA?

Ziklag exposed: Secretive Christian nationalist network tries to purge voters in battleground states
(Democracy Now!) July 30, 2024: Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump made headlines this week after suggesting the 2024 election could be the last U.S. election if he wins in November.
This is our country. We will not be replaced!
DN! looks at a secret organization of wealthy Christians called "Ziklag" that is backing Trump's efforts by working to purge more than a million voters from the rolls in battleground states and mobilize Republican voters to back Trump.

The news outlets ProPublica and Documented obtained thousands of Ziklag's internal files and found the group has divided its 2024 activities into three different operations:
  1. Steeplechase, which uses churches to get out the vote;
  2. Watchtower, which aims to rally voters around opposition to transgender rights; and
  3. Checkmate, which is focused on funding so-called election integrity groups,
explains ProPublica investigative reporter Andy Kroll. MoreZiklag exposed

Longevity of the Buddhist-Bon Hunza people

HUNZA RIVER VALLEY, Pakistan - The mystery of the longevity of the formerly Buddhist and Bon Hunza (prior to Islamic invasion and forced conversion, leaving them as Shia Muslims). The Hunza are the people who do not age and live to be 120-140 years old.

(Unraveling the Scriptures) ✪ Members first on July 4, 2024. Ever imagine living to be 120 years old or reaching 140 while looking like a teenager? Or reaching 80 years old while looking 40 and remaining healthy? This video talks about the mystery of the Hunza people in Indo-Pakistan (formerly India before the Partition of 1947).

Tibet was a massive empire, with Lhasa as its capital, and Gilgit (Hunza) circle at left.
  • "Bon" refers to the indigenous shamanic traditions of these mountains, as practiced throughout the Tibetan Empire prior to Buddhism, at which time it melded with the esoteric teachings of Vajrayana Buddhism throughout the Himalayas.
  • American longevity expert Dr. Joel Wallach (criticialhealthnews.com) insists the biblical phrase "land of milk and honey" does not refer to dairy and bee products but rather the frothy mineral rich waters coming down from glacial mountain streams and fruit nectar from trees growing on rugged terrain.
What are the secrets, to live in peace and not kill?
The Buddhist mountain people of Hunza take cold plunges, breathe fresh air, exercise daily, play sports until 100, eat mineral-rich food from the hills and valley, eat fresh low caloric foods, and live happily in close community. This is the Hunza River below the Himalayas and Karakoram ranges (close to the tallest mountain in the world, which is likely K2 rather than Everest), where beauty is the norm, much like the Buddha (Prince Siddhartha Gautama of neighboring Bamiyan, Afghanistan, called Kapilavastu in Gandhara in ancient times).
Hunza's Buddhist past
Buddhism and, to a lesser extent Bön, was the primary religion in the area. The region holds several surviving Buddhist archeological sites, such as the Sacred Rock of Hunza.

Hunza Valley was central to the network of trading routes connecting Buddhist Central Asia to the subcontinent (India).

Ancient Buddhist rock carvings in Pakistan vandalized (Buddhistdoor Global)
.
Ancient rock carvings look better. Hail Allah!
It also provided protection to Buddhist missionaries and wandering ascetic monks visiting the subcontinent, and the region played a significant role in the transmission of Buddhism throughout Asia [3] (along the Silk Road from the birthplace of the Buddha in Afghanistan and the birth of Buddhism in Bihar, proto-India).

Before conquest by Islam, the majority of the region practiced Buddhism. Since then, most of the population was converted to Islam.

The region has many works of graffiti in the ancient Brahmi script written on rocks (petroglyphs), produced by Buddhist monastics as a form of worship and culture [4].

With most locals being converted to Islam, those inscriptions had been mainly left ignored, destroyed, or forgotten, but they are now being restored [5].
