No Kings protests across USA (10/18)

ICE, get 'em! Bust their heads in My America!
The No Kings protests, also known internationally as the No Dictators or No Tyrants protests, is a series of demonstrations, largely in the United States, against what the organizers describe as authoritarian policies of Donald Trump and corruption in his administration [3][4][5].

"Nothing says Traitor quite like a Trump sign"
What will it accomplish? - I'dunno. - What is it meant to accomplish? - Absolutely nothing, by design. - It just makes us feel good.

Protests first took place on June 14, 2025 (labelled as "No Kings Day" by the 5051 organizers and participants) on the same day as the U.S. Army 250th Anniversary Parade and Trump's 79th birthday.

We demand more experimental vaccines!
It's George Soros funded? Agenda 2030? Permits were applied for and police consulted for a nice autumn day of funny signs safe for everyone. Organizers have planned the "No Kings protests 2.0" for Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025 [6]. More

The Power Belongs to the People

United against King Trump
(NoKings.org) In June 2025, millions of everyday Americans from every walk of life peacefully took to the streets and declared with one voice: "No Kings." The world saw the power of the people, and Pres. Trump’s attempt at a royal coronation collapsed under the strength of a movement rising against his abuses of power. Now, he’s doubling down — sending militarized [ICE] agents into our communities, silencing voters, and handing billionaires giveaways while families struggle. This isn’t just politics. It’s democracy versus dictatorship. And together, we’re choosing democracy. [And alone, Trump chooses dictatorship. Maybe we should crown him president and put him on the cover of TIME?]

Organizer Leah Greenberg: Keep it chill

Protest, eat cake, just don't ask me about Epstein
Even as Pres. Trump has cracked down on dissent and illegally sent military and paramilitary troops into multiple cities to conduct police activities (posse comitatus), organizers of Saturday's anti-authoritarian "No Kings" protests expect millions to join at least 2,500 rallies across all 50 states and several U.S. territories.

The turnout could surpass the 5 million protesters who turned out for "No Kings Day" events in June 2025.

We don't do kings...unless they do us first.
"We are engaging in the most American activity in the world, which is coming together in peaceful protest of our government," says Jewish Leah Greenberg, co-founder and co-executive director of the progressive organization Indivisible.

ICE was invented using the pretext of 9/11.
Trump's threats against the protests are a "classic exercise of the authoritarian playbook, to try to create fear, to try to threaten, to try to make people back off preemptively," she adds.

"There will be no fear, but the fear of what will happen to us if we don't mobilize," says Alderman Byron Sigcho Lopez of the 25th Ward in Chicago, where mass protests are expected.

Is 'No Kings' real or controlled opposition?
Indivisible Movement is a crock. I did not authorize it. AOC, Hillary, and Joe don't back it.
Is Leah Greenberg a real rebel or actually just pro-Zionist controlled opposition?
1984: Emmanuel Goldstein (drawn by AI) during a 'Two Minutes Hate' : r/midjourney
.
L. Goldberg in the role of 1984's E. Goldstein?
"Controlled opposition" means a group that stands as a placeholder for actual opposition, but who are completely ineffective.

Therefore, a ruler controls even the so-called "opposition" in an adversarial relationship. It is as if one's defense attorney were bought off by lawyers for the prosecution to ensure a conviction.

Hey, Leah, stay in your lane! I'm the Savior here
In this sense, everything is controlled by the ruling group, or the Uniparty, without necessarily a direct conspiracy taking place.

Example in 1984
In George Orwell's dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, anyone who thought s/he was rising up against fascism and the Dictator Big Brother would get behind the [Jewish] "opposition" leader Emmanuel Goldstein and his organization "The Brotherhood."

ICE/DHS is surveilling you.
It was fake, as the failed protagonist (Winston Smith) painfully found out. There was no real opposition. It was just a trick of the Inner Party (O'Brien) and Big Brother and the Thought Police, controlled opposition. Read the novel; there's a reason it's famous.

LA Anti-ICE immigration detention protest

LOS ANGELES ICE IMMIGRATION DETENTION CENTER 24/7 PROTEST 8/25/2025 DJB
(Brandon Barlow) Started streaming 8/25/25 #AntiICE #Protests #LosAngeles LOS ANGELES ICE IMMIGRATION DETENTION CENTER 24/7 PROTEST AUGUST 25, 2025

Over 30 days ago, community members set up "Occupy ICE LA 24/7" at the Metro Detention Center on Alameda (Downtown Los Angeles), where DHS officers are stationed.

Protesters are monitoring DHS activity around the clock, alerting neighbors when raids occur, and supporting families whose loved ones are detained at the MDC.

An 8-foot-tall black metal fence was installed along the perimeter of the driveway leading to the Metropolitan Detention Center (a federal detention facility) in downtown Los Angeles—often referred to as the LA Detention Center.

Details of the installation: The fence was erected this Thursday (i.e., today), suggesting a deliberate effort to reinforce perimeter security. Multiple sources, including Threads and TikTok outlets, confirm the fence's appearance, noting its placement along the driveway area of the federal facility.

May Day 2025 protests roil US, world

There are two "May Days" today
International Workers' Day observed on May 1st and is also called "May Day" but the two have different histories: May Day is a European festival of ancient origins marking the beginning of summer, usually celebrated on May 1, around halfway between the Northern Hemisphere's spring equinox and midsummer solstice [1, 2]

Festivities are also held the night before, known as May Eve. Traditions include:
  • gathering green branches and wildflowers ("bringing in the May") [3], which are used to decorate buildings and made into wreaths;
  • crowning a May Queen, sometimes with a male companion (to Jack in the Green) decked in greenery;
  • setting up a Maypole, May Tree, or May Bush, around which people dance and sing;
  • as well as parades and processions involving these [4].
  • Bonfires are also a major part of the festival in some regions.
Regional varieties and related traditions include Walpurgis Night in central and northern Europe [1], the Gaelic festival Beltane [5], the Welsh festival Calan Mai [5], and May devotions to the Blessed Virgin Mary (of Catholic, Christian, Jewish but mostly imperial Roman fame). May Day has also been associated with the ancient Roman festival Floralia [6]. More

Elon Musk, literal NAZI? (Dem Now!)

Elon Musk's family history in South Africa reveals ties to Apartheid and Neo-Nazi movements
(Democracy Now!) March 27, 2025: Elon Musk was born in 1971 in Johannesburg, South Africa, and raised in a wealthy family under the country's racist apartheid laws. Musk's family history reveals ties to apartheid and neo-Nazi politics.

DN! speaks with Chris McGreal, reporter for The Guardian (UK), to understand how Musk's upbringing shaped his worldview, as well as that of his South African-raised colleague Peter Thiel (VP J.D. Vance’s relationship with billionaire GOP donor Peter Thiel), a right-wing billionaire who co-founded PayPal alongside Musk.

"Musk lived what can only be described as a neocolonial life," said McGreal. "If you were a white South African in that period and you had any money at all, you lived with servants at your beck and call." More: democracynow.org

Protests: Turkey rises up against Erdogan

Sixth night of protests in Turkey as Erdogan lashes out at unrest | BBC News
(BBC News) March 25, 2025: Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has blamed opposition parties for provoking a "movement of violence" as protests [against him] in the country continued for a sixth night. Unrest began in Istanbul last Wednesday when the city's Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu -- Erdogan's main political rival -- was detained on [phony] corruption charges. Mayor Imamoglu said the allegations against him were politically motivated, a claim Pres. Erdogan has denied. Turkey's main opposition party, the Republican People's Party's (CHP), which announced Imamoglu as its presidential candidate on Sunday, said the demonstrations will end on Tuesday, without saying what the next steps would be. In figures released before Monday evening's gatherings, the Turkish government said 1,133 people had been arrested since the protests began. #Turkey

UCLA protests Israel to save Gaza

Pro-Palestinian protest breaks out on UCLA campus
Austin Turner, KTLA.com, Feb. 18, 2025
UCLA student demonstrators on campus, 2/18/25
A large group of [Jewish and Gentile] pro-Palestinian peace demonstrators marched on the UCLA campus on Tuesday (Feb. 18), and authorities said [their audacity] was being actively monitored.

Starting at around 3:00 pm, KTLA’s Sky 5 captured footage of the protest, which featured signs condemning the University of California’s financial commitments to pro-genocide Jewish and Israeli-owned businesses.
  • PHOTO: Dozens of protestors gathered for a peaceful pro-Palestinian demonstration on the UCLA campus on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025 (KTLA).
The footage showed dozens of students marching throughout campus, eventually gathering at Westwood Plaza in front of Charles E. Young South. Demonstrations were completely peaceful as of 3:30 pm.

Pres. Trump marks one month in office
Trump: It's time to Make Israel Great Again
In posts to social media starting at 3:20 pm, the UCLA Police Department said it was confident that it had “sufficient resources” to handle the situation.

The protest comes as Pres. DJ Trump has floated [Bibi Netanyahu's] idea of relocating [expelling] Palestinians from Gaza [who have not yet been exterminated by the most moral army in the world who are nothing like Nazis no matter how they appear or anything they are doing], chasing them into other nearby countries, with the United States taking control of the Gaza strip [the largest outdoor prison the world has ever known, a sort of Warsaw Ghetto in plain sight between the river and the sea].

(The Daily Show) Desi Lydic on Bibi's pet plan

Oh, the Democrats would have saved us!
In recent days, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu has appeared to be [excited and] receptive to the idea, saying he and Trump had a “common strategy” in regards to Gaza.

Protests in relation to Israel's ethnic cleansing and genocide, or what it euphemistically calls the Israel-Hamas War and the Israeli occupation of Gaza are nothing new to the UCLA campus.

Last spring, several peaceful demonstrations erupted into bouts of violence as Jewish, Zionist, and pro-Israel counter-protesters clashed with students staging an encampment to save Palestinian lives and stop the genocide.

The university's response to the student demonstrations, which were initially peaceful, was criticized heavily and eventually led to the departure of UCLA Police Chief John Thomas. More
