Most people are no fans of the Catholic Church. So why does it matter what happened? Catholicism is the world's largest religion. Its tentacles reach everywhere. It has again been co-opted and changed to participate in a new imperial conquest -- the New World Order with a One World Bank and no dissent allowed. Newton "Newt" Gingrich is a convert.

This is what happened to the Catholic Church as ruled by the Vatican: On Oct. 26, 1958 Church leaders selected a new pope -- Cardinal Siri. This was announced with five minutes of billowing white smoke. Then something went very wrong. The CIA and/or clandestine forces intervened and put John Paul II in office.
The new anti-pope was to make the most drastic, liberalizing (which would seem good but are absolutely contrary to doctrine), and shocking set of changes to alter the Church and create the largest religion in the world, even if most of its old (as well as the unseen spirit) members are disaffected by being sold out.
This history of the Church is one of unimaginable corruption alongside a great deal of good. Its monastic and contemplative tradition, strong up until a few hundred years ago, was influenced by Buddhist monasticism, teachings, and
Sangha traditions.
The Church took (stole, plagiarized) liberally from Mithraism, Zoroastrianism, Hinduism, myco-shamanism, as well as more obvious Jewish, Egyptian, and Sumerian sources.
The goal of the Church is to be "universal," which is what catholic means. Many of its traditions and elements of the mass make no sense
until one sees that they were appropriated from other, older spiritual traditions. There are countless examples and they all come with a cover story about their derivation and a new meaning.
Does the Church openly admit to "borrowing" Pagan holidays and belief and cynically converting them to other purposes? No, as obvious as some of the plagiarism has been, officially all things Catholic are of Christian origin -- as offensive as this is to Protestants.
The
bodhisattva (savior) ideal, a penultimate goddess of Mercy (Kwan Yin/Virgin Mary), Christmas, Santa Claus (Old St. Nick) the Scandinavian shaman with a bag of red and white magic mushrooms harvested from under pine trees, Easter and the fecundity of bunnies, the symbolism (as in the pope's scepter), altars, ceremonies, exorcisms, Egyptian iconography (particularly on Vatican grounds in the Holy See, formerly a massive temple complex dedicated to
the Holy Roman Empire's previous savior god Mithra), inheriting Mithraism and calling it Christianity (exchanging Mithra for Jesus), trinity (an ancient Hindu/
Vedic concept), forehead ashes, bells, costumes, bald nuns, incense, Tibetan-style pomp and ceremony.
The Siri Thesis
The "Siri Thesis" is the belief that
Giuseppe Cardinal Siri, the long-serving and
conservative Archbishop of Genoa, was actually elected pope in the
1958 papal conclave but that his election was then suppressed.
Followers of this thesis or theory claim that during the papal conclave of 1958, Cardinal Siri (the last cardinal put into office by Pope Pius XII) was elected Pope on the first day of the conclave, Oct. 26th, and took the pontifical name of Gregory XVII.
