Brad is in Los Angeles for a short time and will be teaching at Against the Stream one evening only. He is a Zen monk, author, bass player, and filmmaker.Brad is the author of Sex, Sin, and Zen, Hardcore Zen, Sit Down And Shut Up, and Zen Wrapped in Karma Dipped in Chocolate.
He received Dharma transmission from Gudo Nishijima Roshi, who received his transmission from Rempo Niwa Roshi, who was the head of the Soto Sect in Japan. Brad was also a student of Tim McCarthy, who was a student of Kobun Chino Rosh.
