The Nakba is the catastrophic displacement and genocide of Palestinians by neo-Israelis.
Imagine Europeans coming to the "New" World, dispossessing its many ancient inhabitants, saying we were here first (as Vikings and giants), and that God according to our book gave us the place.

Imagine further the building of forts, prisons, torture chambers, the use of guns, rape, slavery, biological warfare (spreading pox), and pitting groups against one another in a genocide to take control of land and fight other Europeans trying to do the same thing.

Imagine building walled camps ("reservations") on the most desolate patches of land until something of value is found, which means another forced relocation, a death march, a trail of tears. In such camps the decimated survivors are kept on a cancerous imported diet of a federally-approved "four food groups" system that leads to disease after disease -- cancer, diabetes, high cholesterol, obesity, heart failure, alcoholism, depression, addiction, hopelessness.
Not only is this our tragic American history, it is the history of joint British-Jewish-American military-industrial complex (MIC)'s plan to eradicate the Palestinians and Bedouins. Now the war is framed as another crusade, Judeo-Christians coming to fight Islamic hordes. But the Islamic world does not stand by their brothers. They sell them out. Antisemitism becomes a worldwide phenomenon, rather than just a Christian pastime.

The wonderful thing about Israeli Jews is that some stand up against their police state government. Now no one is innocent, and everyone is the victim. But what cannot be denied is that Israelis are in the ascendancy, backed by the most violent nation on Earth (that would be us, the US as the spearhead in the MIC).
Israel is guilty of systematic racism, bias, and abuses not seen since the suffering they lament in ancient Egypt. It says a great deal that they are backed wholeheartedly by fundamentalist Christians, who cynically use them to fulfill biblical prophecies of war and salvation (via a second coming).
On account of abusing the Palestinians, of hating/fearing Muslims, we are dragged into war after war. We become complicit in war crimes and humanitarian atrocities. We cheapen humanity and earn the ire of the world. Far from representing freedom and liberty, even of markets, we are the antithesis: we are the oppressors, the war criminals, the rapists, and abusive conquerors who enslave nations and its own population.
Americans and Israelis are good, but no one would know it by the things done in our name. So we say "not in our name." Others will hate and live ruled by fear, but we will not. Others will be silent and deny history, but we will not. Others will pre-judge and side with co-conspirators, but we will not. Think. Question. Investigate. The truth is out there.
