(Discover America) Every Indigenous Native American tribe named in 22 minutes
Indigenous were everywhere on this continent
The U.S. genocide of 100,000,000 (one hundred million) decimated the Indigenous population of the people's land for people with land but wanting another different one. Welcome, "Pilgrims" (Occupiers), "Settlers" (invaders), friends and comrades against other European occupiers and exploiters from England and France and Spain.
Wait, what? We have our ancient Indigenous DNA still inside, with little Euro contribution?

U Dhammaloka (Burmese ဦးဓမ္မလောက) lived from 1856–1914. He was an Irish-born migrant worker [1] who became a Theravada Buddhist monk.
He was a strong critic of Christian missionaries and a temperance campaigner who took an active role in the Asian Buddhist revival around the turn of the 20th century.
Venerable Dhammaloka (because "U," pronounced ooh, is not a name or initial but a Burmese honorific) was ordained in Burma prior to 1900, making him the earliest attested Western Buddhist monk in modern times.
He was a celebrity preacher, vigorous polemicist, and prolific editor in Burma and Singapore between 1900 and his conviction for sedition and appeal in 1910–1911.
Drawing on Western atheist (freethinking) writings, he publicly challenged the role of Christian missionaries and resisted attempts by the colonial government to charge him for sedition. More

Sofi is perhaps best known for her role as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on the ABC sitcom Modern Family (2009–2020) and more recently as Griselda Blanco from the Netflix miniseries Griselda (2024). She has received five nominations each at the Primetime Emmy Awards and the Golden Globe Awards. She rose to prominence when co-hosting two TV shows for the Spanish-language TV network Univision in the late 1990s. After acting in the English-language film... More
A thirst trap is a type of social media post intended to sexually entice viewers [1, 2, 3, 4]. It refers to a viewer's "thirst" (tanha, craving, grasping, clinginess, lust, attachment, sensual desire), a colloquialism likening sexual frustration to dehydrated thirst.
It implies desperation, with the afflicted individual being described as "thirsty" [4, 5, 6] in the Buddhist sense and soon caught in a trap.
The phrase entered into the American lexicon in the late 1990s. It is most related to internet slang that developed in the early 2010s. Its meaning has changed over time, previously referring to a graceless need for approval, validation, affection, or attention [7, 6], for which the term "attention whore" was coined. More
The great Gnostic Sophia: Sophia (Wisdom) was a Greek goddess. In Gnosticism, Sophia is "Wisdom," Sofia (Koine Greek σοφία, sophía—"wisdom," Vulgate Latin Sapientia, as in sophists) is a central idea in Hellenistic Greek philosophy and religion, Platonism, and especially Gnosticism.
Originally carrying a meaning of "cleverness or skill," the later meaning of the term, "sound judgment, intelligence, practical wisdom," is close to the meaning of phronesis ("practical wisdom, intelligence") and was significantly shaped by the term philosophía (the "love of wisdom") as used by the philosopher Plato.
Sammy K. Obeid (born Feb. 9, 1984) is a Palestinian-American [1, 2, 3], writer, and stand-up comedian. He has released one comedy album, Get Funny or Die Tryin. The New York Times described his comedy as displaying "an analytic style full of wordplay, clever misdirection, and ethnic humor riffing on his Middle Eastern roots" [4].
He once performed 1,001 nights of comedy in a row (just like the classic of world literature One Thousand and One Nights), which he claimed was a world record [7]. Obeid is also a host for the Netflix show 100 Humans and the founder of KO Comedy (IG) [8]. More
(The Daily Show) Did a secret "Stargate" in Iran cause Trump-Israel's war? What is Stargate 10?
The world has settled all its differences, and peace has broken out. But just when we were on the verge of celebrating a thousand years of sanity to come, Spain declares war on Argentina, threatening to rub their faces in the grass and to break Messi's body if necessary. Will Argentina, minus its Falkland Islands, put up with European imperialism, colonialism, and exploitation? It can only be decided on the field of mock battle before the audience of the world. And here we sit in the most cross-cultural city in the [Evil] Empire, Los Angeles, waiting to be amused, entertained, and delighted. RESULT: Having declared war on a European colony in the "New World," colonia powerhouse Spain beat the Latin upstart by the slightest margin possible, plunging the Americas into a funk and the EU into ecstatics. "There's always next year" won't work this time. A World Cup isn't that easy.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup final will be the last match of the 2026 World Cup, the 23rd edition of FIFA's competition for men's national soccer (association football) teams. The match is scheduled to be played at MetLife Stadium at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey, near New York City, on July 19, 2026, and will see this country [England] go up against [France?]... While the soccer World Cup is being played in France, two young Tibetan refugees arrive at a monastery (lamasery) boarding school in exile in India. Its atmosphere of serene contemplation is somewhat disrupted by soccer fever, the chief instigator being a young student, the soccer(association football) fanatic Orgyen. Prevented by various circumstances from seeing The Cup finals on television in a nearby village, Orgyen sets out to organize the rental of a TV set for the Buddhist monastery. All the quiet contemplatives become loud sports enthusiasts instead, whose behavior borders on worldly hooliganism.

The Mexica (pronounced /meh-hee-kuh/ or /meh-chee-kuh/) tribe of the Valley of Mexico gave "Mexico" (a country the official name of which is the "United Mexican States" or Estados Unidos Mexicanos) its modern name, not as a place that ever spoke Spanish but rather the indigenous languageNahuatl (/naw-wah/), "Mexican" of the Nahua people and Chichimeca (/chee-chee-mee-kuh/) people. Let's ask early indigenous chronicler Fernando de Alva Cortés Ixtlilxóchitl.
When the Buddha says, "This is a timeless truth," also translated as "eternal law," he is saying that it is nothing new to say so. Everyone knows or has known it; it has been taught before and will be taught again; it is not a truth that belongs to anyone.
Leaders are super friends, but not followers?
Surely, other doctrines and teachers teach and have taught this -- Jesus, Mohammed, Krishna, Medicine Women, tribal chieftains, and others. An atheist sitting in silence might even come to realize it.
Fire isn't really fought with fire, unless one doesn't mind more burning. Water wouldn't get rid of water without leaving extra water around. Sure, "like cures like" in homeopathy (and in Louis Pasture's discovery), but how does it do it?
No, you dummies, not water! "Fight fire with fire!" Drop more flames on top of these flames!
.
Fire! Burn, burn, burn! Burn it all down!
It does it by provoking a powerful opposite response. Firefighters know that we can burn grass off to stop a raging forest fire, thus depriving it of fuel to continue. That seems like fire fighting fire, but it's actually cleverness fighting it. And it is soon extinguished with what, more fire? No, with non-fire. Calming cool replaces raging heat.
In homeopathy, the very thing that is troubling one, like an allergen, can be intensified (by what looks like dilution but is actually rarefication and sublimation) by provoking the body to realize what it is up against and using its natural abilities to counteract it.
Q: What's the best way to do away with and be rid of an enemy? Hmmm. Think. A: Make that person a friend. That would end it right there.
Wouldn't it be so great to get along with the Spanish-speaking Americans we invade, colonize, and then discriminate against? Maybe one day Puerto Ricans could be "Americans." (Oh, they are? Well, there you go. Success!)
