Vacharaesorn Vivacharawongse is one of the disowned sons of Thailand’s King Maha Vajiralongkorn (Rama X), has been ordained as a Theravada Buddhist monk in Bangkok, Thailand, marking a significant and symbolic return to public life.

His ordination took place on Vesak Day — a major Buddhist holiday celebrating the birth, enlightenment, and passing of the historical Buddha.

The event was widely shared on Than Oun’s official Instagram, drawing public attention and sparking speculation about his potential reintegration into royal circles.

The lawyer Watts laid out the case as if those present, many of whom were in the mainstream media with cameras rolling, inside a special seminar room in Lake Avenue Church. Attorney Boxer, son of former Sen. Barbara Boxer, was present. The utility Edison is guilty, guilty, guilty, guilty, as the judge in Family Guy would say. The evidence is overwhelming. Whether Edison loses is not in question. How it loses is. If Edison presents itself as a competent and responsible company that made a mistake, it is eligible for 80% reimbursement for its legal losses (estimated to range from between 20 and 23 billion due to the Eaton Fire). However, if it is shown to have been incompetent and irresponsible, it will have to cover the entire amount from its own coffers. We were shown pictures of a grounding wire that was not in place but only jerry-rigged and held down with chicken wire, unable to serve its function of grounding electrical surges (into the ground as intended). There is film footage of the derelict "zombie" transmission tower maintained by Edison sparking (electrically arcing) and setting the forest ablaze. The most damning evidence, however, comes from Edison's own records of urgent work orders never completed to correct these issues to prevent such a disaster. Those records say it is a fire hazard; therefore, Edison had every reason to know what the danger was, what their incompetence would cause, what in fact their negligence did cause. They tried to hide all of this, but LA Fire Justice dug for it and found the evidence. The firm claims to have over 500 clients harmed by Edison. There are thousands more distributed among other lawyers, many who have rushed to the area to set up shop and cash in. They do not have the experience or skill to win big but winning in any way will likely make their move profitable.

Then the real-life Erin Brockovich took the stage with a command of the facts and gravitas, siding with LAFireJustice.com against Edison. She has decades of experience dealing with corporate irresponsibility, and this is a blatant case of it. This makes Edison worse than PG&E, which itself caused one or more infamous fires by not monitoring and shutting down aged electrical equipment. Corporations privatize profits and socialize costs; it's an age-old problem. This is why they have to be held accountable.

Brockovich emphasized that the cleanup is not being done correctly, meaning that toxic heavy metals are spoiling the area. So in ten years or so, there will be a new wave of lawsuits to deal with that shortsightedness. Just today the local mainstream media is reporting how the City of Pasadena below the burn area has closed two baseball fields. They are unsafe due to elevated lead levels from the fire (from homes painted with lead-based paints when they were legal in the forties and fifties).

Community activist Brooke Teal Robbins was present with her parents, who were harmed and displaced by the Eaton Fire. She was promoting another LA Fire Justice "public awareness presentation." It is on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 5:00 pm at 221 E. Walnut St., Suite 100, in Pasadena 91101. It is becoming the new hub for community for Pasadena, Altadena, and Sierra Madre.

Maybe it would work with Willy Brown, but blowing this interview isn't helping the candidate at all. If only instead of hiding for the past three years doing nothing (or having nothing to show for anything she has done, just like the sum total of her time in politics and the legal system) she had practiced being human, empathic, affable like Clinton (Bill, that is). But instead she's a monster, and all of her staff knows it. We'll be the ones to find out too late.

Exchanges so bad that an evasive attorney could not play along, be nice, and stop acting defensive? This is how impromptu, unplanned speeches will go as well as any question-and-answer periods for the remainder of her time in office? Suddenly, dumb Trump doesn't look like the worst choice but more like the devil we know rather than the one we don't. He sometimes doesn't put his foot in his mouth. Sometimes he just stands in front of helicopters for press conferences and pretends not to hear. Sometimes he doubles down on mistakes and owns them, pretending as if he meant to say things that way. He's very dumb. What Kamala's excuse? Is her idiocy and off-putting demeanor calculated? She's like an angry reptilian, as if such beings already possess her body to play the role of second in command to a mentally absentee Biden. Harris has already been president when Biden has been put under for medical procedures. We were not told that, but she should probably say so because it's not looking good. We trust the Deep State will shove her down our collective throats so that Israel can have its wars unimpeded by our slow and secret funding. But it kind of makes Trump look good in comparison, the true-liars who says the quiet parts out loud because he's so dumb and vain and senile.

Forget Trump, New Right under Vance

Ever since former Pres. DJ became the GOP presidential nominee in 2016, there has been a small but loud group of so-called Republicans in the media and the halls of power who have fervently dreamed of the day when Trump loses his hold on the party.

Until the vice-presidential debate, these MSNBC "conservative" pundits and figures such as former Rep. Liz Cheney and Mormon Sen. Mitt Romney could have hoped that if Trump face-plants this year, the GOP will finally come back to its senses and put them back in charge.

Ohio Senator JD Vance put that theory squarely to bed onstage in New York City.

Though polling varies, by most accounts, Sen. Vance scored a win over Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (not to mention the biased CBS moderators) with his command of the issues and a surprising affability that even seemed to have Walz charmed at times.

But it was the substance, not the style of Sen. Vance’s answers that should worry the Never Trump crowd. Because Sen. Vance, for maybe the first time, is a major political figure who is not Donald Trump, but who can explain and embody Trump’s populism even in the loftiest forums.
