Nene Royal [b] (born Rattikarn Amloy [a] on March 14, 2010 [1]), nickname Praew [c], is a Thai rock musician and singer who became world famous on America's Got Talent (AGT).

She is best known for winning the 21st season of America's Got Talent in 2026.

Biography

Nene was born on a small island in the Thai province of Phuket [2, 3] in the southern Thailand, which is not pronounced with any F sound whatsoever.

It is pronounced /pooh-kett/, home of infamous Patong Beach and the massive Taoist gorefest of self-torture to show supernatural endurance, a bloody display called the Vegetarian Festival or the Nine Emperor Gods Festival.
  • Self-purification: In addition to eating pure vegan food, festival participants keep their thoughts pure, wearing white as a symbol of purity. Devout festival participants also abstain from sex, alcohol, and stimulants during the festival. More

Her parents had hoped she would take up a career in business [13]. She wanted to study computing as a co-curricular subject. However, she learned that there were no more spaces in the computer class, so she enrolled in music instead [14]. When she played her first chord, she was hooked, she claims.

She adopted the stage name "Nene Royal" when she began playing in public at age 12 [8]. In 2022, she participated at the Thai talent program Super 10, performing with Thai rock artist PooH Anchalee [7].

In 2023, she competed in the Overdrive Guitar Contest and won second prize, being named "Best Musician" and "Best Vocalist." That same year, she received the Trang Music Award [15].

In 2025, she appeared at the King Power Band Competition and given an "Outstanding Player" award [16, 17]. More

Theravada Buddhism in Thailand

.
Thailand is next to Cambodia and Laos.
Theravada Buddhism is the largest religion in Thailand, followed by around 92.5% of the country's population as per 2021 [2].

By sheer numbers, it has the world's largest Buddhist population followed by China [which has 1,000,000,00 (one billion) uncounted Buddhists, who are all officially "communist atheists," even though nearly everyone in China follows the Three Teachings of Mahayana Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism, which blend seamlessly] and Burma, which has more than 67 million Buddhists [1].

Religion in China: Three Teachings
The Buddha, Lao Tzu, and Confucius (China's Three Teachings)

The Theravada tradition is practiced by most Buddhists and shares many similarities with Sri Lankan Buddhism [3, 4].

Buddhism in Thailand has also become integrated with Hinduism from millennia of Indian influence [5, 6], and other Chinese religions (folk, animism, pantheism, polytheism, Taoism, Confucianism) from the large Thai Chinese population [7, 8].

Buddhist temples in Thailand are characterized by tall golden stupas (reliquary mounds), and the Buddhist architecture of Thailand is similar to that of other Southeast Asian Buddhist countries, particularly Cambodia and Laos, with which Thailand shares cultural and historical heritages.

性命圭旨 三聖圖: Three Sages
Thailand, Cambodia, Burma, Sri Lanka, and Laos are five countries with Theravada Buddhist majorities.

Buddhism is believed to have arrived in what is now "Thailand" (formerly Siam) as early as the 3rd century BCE [9], in the time of the Indian Buddhist Emperor Ashoka (who built the empire of "India" by amalgamating many South Asian territories and republics on the subcontinent), two centuries after the life of the Buddha.

Since then, Buddhism has played a significant role in Thai culture and society. Buddhism and the Thai monarchy have often been intertwined, with universally beloved Thai kings historically seen as the main patrons of Buddhism in Thailand.

Thai Forest Tradition Dhamma Wheel
Although politics and religion were generally separated for most of Thai history, Buddhism's connection to the Thai state would increase in the middle of the 19th century following the reforms of King Mongkut that would lead to the development of a royally-backed sect of Buddhism (Dhammayuttika Nikaya of which the Thai Forest Tradition is a part) and increased centralization of the Thai monastic community (sangha) under the state, with state control over Buddhism increasing further after the 2014 coup d'état.

Playing Phuket's Naka Night Market

Thai Buddhism is distinguished for its emphasis on short-term ordination for every Thai male and its close interconnection with the Thai state and Thai culture.

The two official branches (nikayas) of Thai Buddhism are the royally backed Dhammayuttika Nikaya and the larger Maha Nikaya. More

Real life in 'sinful' Buddhist Cambodia

Near Burma, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam
(World Lens) Real life Cambodia : The world's most sinful Buddhist country: The real country most visitors miss | Travel documentary
This former U.S.-ruined Asian colony known as the Khmer Republic was illegally bombed by the U.S. in a massive genocidal campaign during the U.S. War on Vietnam in Operation Menu and Operation Freedom Deal. Neighboring Buddhist Laos was also bombed along with Vietnam as it suffered CIA subterfuge in Laos as The Company (the CIA) destabilized the impoverished the poor post-colonial nation with the Laotian Civil War.

Zionist CIA loves secret wars in Asia and world
Why the imperial Americans saw fit to follow on France's colonialism with a genocide during the U.S. War on Vietnam only the U.S. government and CIA know. Three innocent Buddhist countries had to be ethnically cleansed and horrifically abused to make the world safe for American disaster capitalism and the threat of equitable improvements in the name of socialism or the dreaded C-word communism.

Bruce Lee Thai boxing with a woman

Bruce Lee challenged by Thai female kickboxer undefeated 1971 — Bangkok match

I can prevail with just one well placed strike.
Bruce Lee: The Hidden Legacy(Bruce Lee: The Hidden Legacy) Bangkok, November 15, 1971, underground gym. Somrak Kamsing challenged Bruce Lee. Forty-seven fights, 47 wins, 43 knockouts, she never lost.

"Come to Bangkok. Fight me. Or admit you fear women." Bruce Lee read the challenge. Hong Kong. Filming Fist of Fury. He never fought woman before, never fought a perfect record, but he refused to decline the offer.

"She's undefeated champion. She deserves respect. She deserves fight." He accepted. "Bangkok. November 15. Traditional Muay Thai rules. Five rounds. No cameras. No publicity. Just two martial artists."

  • Muay Thai with boxer and farang
    Muay Thai
or Muaythai (Thai มวยไทย, RTGS muai thai) is sometimes referred to as Thai boxing, the Art of Eight Limbs [5], or the Science of Eight Limbs [6]. It is a Thai martial art and full-contact combat sport that uses stand-up striking, sweeps, and clinching techniques [7]. The name "Art of Eight Limbs" refers to the combined use of two fists, two elbows, two knees, and two shins [8].
  • Muay Thai went international in the late 20th-21st century, when Westernized practitioners from Thailand began competing in kickboxing, mixed-rules matches, and matches under Muay Thai rules around the world. The professional league is governed by the Professional Boxing Association of Thailand, sanctioned by the Sports Authority of Thailand.
  • Thai fighters wearing mongkhon
    Muay Thai
is related to martial art styles of India's cultural sphere: Musti-yuddha [9, 10], Muay Chaiya, Muay Boran, Muay Lao, Lethwei, Kun Khmer, Benjang [11], and Tomoi [12].
  • Muay Thai practitioners are known as Nak Muay. Western practitioners are sometimes called Nak Muay Farang, meaning "foreign boxer" [13].
  • Muay Thai etymology: The Thai language term Muay Thai [14] that is a compound word made up of muay and Thai, the first derived from the Sanskrit root word [15] mavya [16], which means "to pull together," "to form into a single group or unit," or "unity" [16], defined as "to tie" [17] and "sport boxing" [18] in Thai. The alternative form of the Sanskrit word mavya is mavy (mavyati, Sanskrit मव्य् (मव्यति, lit. "to bind, to tie, to fasten") from its root term mav [19, 20] (Sanskrit मव). "Thai" comes from the word Tai [15], which means "free" [21] and "Tai-Kadai speakers " [Note 1]. More
Black implies white. White implies black. Swirling
Somrak Kamsing
[the name of a real male fighter also known as Somluck Kamsing?] started training at age 8 disguised as a boy. Underground gyms didn't allow females.

She cut her hair, wrapped her chest to bind her bosom, and nobody knew for three years. Then one sparring session at age 11, fighting a 16-year-old boy, he hit her too hard and split her lip. She attacked, knee to body, elbow to face.

The Boy went down. The coach discovered her secret, "You're a girl?" She expected to be banned. The coach smiled, "You fight better than any boy. Stay. Become a champion."

By age 25, she was a legend. Men refused to fight her. They were too scared. "What if I lose to a woman?" She laughed. "You will lose. Question is how long you last."

I am water, I am void, I pivot to evade strikes.
November 15 arrived, Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, only 50 witnesses. No media, Bruce insisted. "This is not a spectacle. This is martial arts. This is sacred." They bowed a deep bow of mutual respect.

The bell rang. Somrak attacked, low kick. Bruce checked it. She threw a combination. He slipped. She threw an elbow. He ducked. He countered. A backfist grazed her cheek. This was a real fight, five rounds. Both gave everything they had.

I make martial arts films.
Somrak landed solid leg kicks. Bruce countered with precision. She threw a flying knee. He sidestepped, spinning back to give her a kick to the ribs. She stumbled, the first time in 47 fights.

By Round 5, both were bloody. Bruce's eyebrow was cut. Somrak lip was split. They were still fighting, still trading strikes, no defense, just pure warrior spirit. The bell rang. Silence. Then both bowed simultaneously, smiling.

The referee raised both hands. It was a draw by unanimous decision. It had been 48 fights, and she was still undefeated. Both remained undefeated. Nobody lost. Both won. They hugged, "You are a real martial artist," Somrak said. "Gender doesn't matter, only heart."

I wish I'd eaten better and lived.
Bruce replied, "You taught me today. A woman can be a warrior equal to any man. Thank you." Gifts were exchanged. Somrak gave Bruce traditional mongkhon.

Bruce gave her a Wing Chun ring. November 15, 1971, Bangkok, five rounds, one draw, two champions. One lesson: Respect transcends gender because heart determines warrior.

Death toll in Bangkok bar fire reaches 33

Bangkok is the L.A. of Asia
(DW) Deaths in a devastating fire at a pub in Theravada Buddhist Thailand's capital Bangkok have risen to 30, reports said Tuesday, citing updated figures from city officials.

A screen grab taken from a video released on July 12, shows people fleeing a fire at the Rong Beer Na Lat Phrao bar. Three more victims succumbed to their injuries, pushing up the tally from the initial 27 dead, local media reports said.

More than 70 people continue to receive treatment in hospitals, with 24 of them in critical condition, officials said.
  • Bangkok, July 15: The death toll from a devastating Bangkok bar fire has risen to 33, authorities said on Wednesday, as Thailand pledged a nationwide overhaul of entertainment venue regulations (Asian Standard).

Meanwhile, police are probing possible negligence, including obstructed emergency exits as people scrambled to flee the flames. Most killed were found trapped in windowless bathrooms.

Bangkok blaze deadliest in 17 years
What will the new king of Thailand say?
An explosive fire ripped through Rong Beer Na Lat Phrao, a pub near the popular Chatuchak Weekend Market in northern Bangkok late on Sunday night.

Footage circulating on social media showed a powerful inferno jetting out of the bar's doorway as people ran to escape. It took firefighters about half an hour to tame the fire.

The blaze is one of the deadliest in Thailand since 2009, when a New Year's Day fire at a nightclub killed 67 people.

On Tuesday, more mourners laid down flowers and handwritten notes at the site of the incident as remnants from the bar -- including melted musical instruments and sooty chairs -- lay on the sidewalk.
