Barbie coffin for dead beauty Miss Venezuela?

The Barbie movie might not be so bad, promoting feminism and denouncing Ken's toy doll "patriarchy." It's not exactly for kids except as indoctrination that parents will understand. Like sugary box cereals and sentimental plastic toys, ad agencies are on overdrive to promote pink Barbie everything. Christians, Republicans, and other conservatives may detest it, but the movie is only helping to promote whatever Barbie [Mattel, Inc.] says.
Who will be the first to use a gaudy pink coffin with a Barbie doll placed on it? Maybe beauty queen Miss Venezuela. Ariana Viera was killed in tragic car crash just as the Barbie Dream Coffin went viral in Latin American and around the world. Everyone wants one ever since the movie character "Barbie" dared to utter the one word never heard in Dreamland: "dying."
Here are two English translations of the original Pali (Buddhist language) text of the "Five Remembrances":

The firm shared a clip of the promotion on TikTok, where it went viral with 1.6 million views and nearly 5,000 comments.
Other funeral homes -- located in Mexico, El Salvador, and across Latin America -- have also joined the trend, cashing in on the success of the Barbie film as they also launch bright pink coffins.
[There is now also a shortage of pink paint in the U.S. due to "pink fever" brought on by Barbie's super-successful ad campaign.]

The Buddha advised: "These are five facts that one should often reflect on, whether one is a female or male, layperson or monastic" [5].
Since the Buddha clarified, defining karma ("action") as the intention (cetana) behind a deed motivating it (Nibbedhika Sutta), "intentions" or "intentionally committed deeds" may be better translations of karma in the fifth contemplation or recollection above.

Police are searching for a person who tried to saw off the head of a [Native American genocide engineer, rapist, murderer, ethnic cleanser, and recent Catholic saint] Junipero Serra statue and threw red paint on it at the San Gabriel Mission early Friday.
The incident occurred about 7:50 am at the church, 428 S. Mission Drive.
[The site was once a Vatican/Spanish concentration camp or "mission" where Los Angeles really began. It is also home of the SG Mission Playhouse, which a few years ago had a play about one of Serra's victims, the Tongva/Kizh superheroine Toypurina.]

Last September, Pope Francis canonized Junípero Serra, the first saint canonized in the United States.
During the mass in Washington D.C., the Pope said of the friar:
“He learned how to bring to birth and nurture God’s life in the faces of everyone he met; he made them his brothers and sisters. Junípero sought to defend the dignity of the native community, to protect it from those who had mistreated and abused it.”

Satwiwa (The Bluffs) Native American Center

For many years, the Santa Monica Mountains sustained the Chumash and Tongva (Kizh/Gabrieleno) Native American cultures of the greater Los Angeles Basin and Southern California.
Sycamore Canyon, which cuts through Rancho Sierra Vista/Satwiwa (which means "the bluffs") and Point Mugu State Park was part of a Chumash trade route.

Satwiwa was the name of a nearby Chumash village. To reflect this heritage, Satwiwa Native American Indian Culture Center and Natural Area was established by the National Park Service in partnership with the Friends of Satwiwa.

(WQ) We spent the solar eclipse, August 21st, at Satwiwa trying to see Rahu eat Surya, or something block out the Sun (Roman Sol or Norse Sól), presumably but imperfectly the Moon. Imperfectly?
The lunar theory does not explain why the Moon (Chandra) is not visible approaching the face of the Sun just beforehand or why the Moon has been seen, and recorded in British records, on the horizon around the time of the eclipse on various occasions.
What is eclipsing the Sun and why, we do not know for sure, but consensus-reality scientists working as gatekeepers for the university system claim to have it all figured out -- despite the empirical evidence. A professor of earth sciences at Caltech couldn't tell us and was stymied by our persistent questioning as he contradicted and corrected himself. An official from the Goddard Space Center couldn't explain it to the unquestioning mainstream media.
Buddhist, Hindu, Jain and other Dharmic traditions have an explanation for eclipses as do local "Indians." (Calling them both "Indians" is not so mistaken in this instance since Buddhism and Indian mythology came to the Southwest US centuries before Christianity: See Edward P. Vining, Rick Fields, and others). Creation myths and stories, often symbolic nowadays but at one time quite literal, are interesting and instructive.
