Are you racist? NO! ("American Denial")

The "Implicit Bias Test" in American Denial, a film by Llewellyn Smith, Christine Herbes-Sommers, and Kelly Thomson (PBS SoCaL and Community Cinema/scpr.org/KPCC)

.
"American Denial" uses the story of Scandinavian social scientist Gunnar Myrdal’s 1944 investigation of Jim Crow American racism as a springboard on PBS tonight.

"AmericanDenial" explores the power of unconscious biases and how the ideals of liberty, equality, and justice still impact notions of U.S. race and class today.

What the h*ll is wrong with people?
Moderator Joanne Griffith watched the film and spoke with special guests about this delicate but vitally important topic at KPCC's Crawford Family Forum. Now everyone can watch the movie on SoCal's Public Broadcasting Station.

GUESTS: Phillip Sanchez, [allegedly] Racist Pasadena Police Chief. Pofirio Fausto, Pasadena Community Advocate, Elena Halpert-Schilt, Within Our Lifetime Network and L.A. County Human Relations Commission.

(PBS/SCPR) A full explanation of the film in under three minutes.
