What does the Molester-in-Chief have to hide? Trump flip-flops on release of Epstein Files
(Democracy Now!)

A major rift has formed within Don [Juan] Trump's MAGA base over his reversal of many campaign promises to release the "Epstein files" to the public.
Giuffre killed. Who's next?
Prince Andrew, Molested Guiffre, Ghislane
Many Trump supporters see his denials of the existence of a "client list" belonging to Jeffrey Epstein, the powerful and well-connected [blackmailer hiding as an] investor who was charged with the sexual trafficking and assault of numerous teenage girls and young women before his [alleged] death [or release from prison after his suicide was faked], as a betrayal of Trump's promises to "drain the swamp" and expose what many supporters believe is proof of criminal corruption among primarily Democratic "elites."
What's Epstein's brother say?
🚑 Silenced?
Trump's insistence that his supporters drop their fixation on Epstein-related "conspiracy theories that his people have long nurtured" is "making it exceedingly difficult for some of his biggest supporters and boosters to not start at least suspecting that he has something to hide," says Rolling Stone's Asawin Suebsaeng, who has been reporting on the fallout from Trump and his [righthand woman] Attorney General Pam Bondi's handling of the Epstein case.

Trump’s team wants the case dismissed completely, and the prosecution says it needs time to evaluate the next steps now that Trump has been re-elected.
The court has granted them a week's delay to provide their position.
In a letter to Judge Juan Merchan [who doesn't want to lose his pension or job], prosecutors said they agreed with Trump's request for a stay to consider how to proceed given his new status as president-elect.
"The People agree that these are unprecedented circumstances and that the arguments raised by defense counsel in correspondence to the People on Friday require careful consideration to ensure that any further steps in this proceeding appropriately balance the competing interests of (1) a jury verdict of guilt following trial that has the presumption of regularity; and (2) the Office of the President," prosecutor Matthew Colangelo wrote in a letter to the judge.
The rich don't go to prison. This is the USA
“Accordingly, the People respectfully request that the Court adjourn the upcoming scheduled dates to afford the People time to assess these recent developments, and set November 19. 2024 as a deadline for the People to advise the Court regarding our view of appropriate steps," he added.
Trump had been tentatively scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 26. Trump was convicted in May on 34 felony counts related to hush money payments made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels. He has denied any wrongdoing.

What did Pres. Trump do for 187 minutes on Jan. 6th? (Democracy on Trial: Pt. 12)
(FRONTLINE Short Docs) April 19, 2024: What was then-Pres. Donald Trump doing for 187 minutes during the violent insurrection (riot, disturbance, rabble rousing) he instigated at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, when [he could not stand to lose to Genocide Joe and when] some in the crowd were chanting “hang Mike Pence”?
Get this hideous bald bird away from me. Kill it!
The Jan. 6 Select Committee sought answers to that question. Watch Part 12 of “Democracy on Trial.”
In “Democracy on Trial,” published as a series of short documentaries, FRONTLINE investigates the roots of the federal criminal case against Trump stemming from his 2020 election loss [which he and MAGA fans insist was stolen from him by politics-as-usual in the USA].
Life is hard even for rich narcissists
The investigation traces the road to this unprecedented moment and examines the implications of the historic criminal case unfolding in the midst of a presidential election year (2024).
Drawing on court documents and revelatory interviews with elected officials, former government lawyers, House Select Committee witnesses, and former committee staffers, authors, and journalists, “Democracy on Trial” reports that the work of the House Select Committee investigating Jan. 6 that provided the groundwork for special counsel Jack Smith’s indictment of Trump and may offer insights into how the trial unfolds.
“Democracy on Trial” chronicles how the committee built its case against Trump and tried to prove his intent, how it chose to present its case to the American public, and criticisms of its work.
This documentary also examines how Trump has challenged the case. He has pleaded not guilty and made the legal argument, now being reviewed by an appellate court, that he has “absolute immunity” from prosecution for [any of] his actions [up to and including murder] while in office.
“Democracy on Trial” is a FRONTLINE production with the Kirk Documentary Group. The director is Michael Kirk. The producers are Michael Kirk, Mike Wiser, and Vanessa Fica. The writers are Michael Kirk and Mike Wiser. The reporters are Vanessa Fica and Brooke Nelson Alexander. The editor-in-chief and executive producer of FRONTLINE is Raney Aronson-Rath.

The first criminal trial of an American president will begin Monday as prosecutors and defense lawyers convene in a Manhattan courtroom to begin selecting the jury that will decide Don J. Trump’s fate. The Manhattan district attorney, Alvin L. Bragg, has charged Mr. Trump with 34 felonies, accusing him of falsifying documents to conceal a sex scandal involving prostitution with a porn star in the furtherance of election interference. The case, one of four indictments facing the former president and presumptive Republican 2024 nominee, could reshape the political landscape ahead of Election Day. Jury selection could last two weeks or more and the trial may spill into June. Mr. Trump is expected to be in the courtroom for much of it, bringing campaign theatrics to the sober atmosphere of a criminal proceeding #donaldtrump #hushmoney #hushmoneytrial #usanews #news18 #englishnewslive

I spent one month studying Buddhism. It changed me.
(Nas Daily) Feb. 15, 2024: This is Month 1 of my six-month Spirituality Challenge. I went super deep into Buddhism. And I came out a changed man. Let me tell you the story. Thanks to @BuddhismInEnglish for sharing your wisdom. See you next month for a video about the world's oldest religion: [the Old Vedic religion adopted by] Hinduism [which was only organized as a "religion" by Adi Shankara in 725 CE]. Thanks for watching Nas Daily, bringing people together, which is why it creates content that does exactly that.
WQ CORRECTIONS: The Buddha (born Prince Siddhartha Gautama) was born in Gandhara (modern-day Afghanistan a little west of Nepal along the same mountain range, the foothills of the Himalayas at a portion called the Hindu Kush), probably in the town of Bamiyan but moving between three seasonal capitals in an ancient place the texts called Kapilavastu, probably ancient Kabul and Mes Aynak, the site of the world's largest unexcavated Buddhist temple complex, which is thought to be at least one square mile in size. For political reasons and ethnoreligious tensions, the Buddha had to be relocated in history (not in physical reality) from Muslim Afghanistan and Indo-Pakistan east closer to India. Nepal was selected as that faraway place possibly because it might have been the site of the original Lumbini, though that likely was in or around Sistan-Baluchestan in the "Aryan" (Aryian = Iranian = Persian) land of Sakastan/Scythia that is now a land between Afghanistan and Iran. See Dr. Ranajit Pal from the Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute and his maverick history book, Non-Jonesian Indology and Alexander.
Yeah, Doug, "Why Buddhism?" What's the point of the Dharma, the Buddha's Teaching, particularly if one takes a secular slant? Can't we just OBEY the God, bow to his son, thank his Holy Mother (or worship his former-wife Asherah), and be done with religion? Get the holidays, send in a check, and otherwise ignore it, Y'know, "God is dead" and all that.
(Doug's Dharma) March 25, 2024: Why Buddhism? 🧡 Doug discusses a couple of quick reasons why someone might want to consider adopting a Buddhist outlook and Buddhist practice in life.

Trump has been handed an eviction of sorts: He's out of the BBC, the Billionaire Boys' Club, because he can no longer afford the steep membership fees.
UPDATE: Fine now $454,500,000 because of backdated interest
The total fine for the convicted Trump fraudsters is more like $364 million because sons Donald and Eric were also hits with fines and all are barred from being CEOs of any company in New York for three years.
Don't compare me to my dumb nepotistic sons!!
He may have to open up Mar a Lago to Airbnb rentals to cover his expenses.
He has allegedly run up a bill from defense attorneys of $500 million, or half a billion. He was fined $5 million for the rape of a woman he repeatedly defamed and was recently fined an additional $83 million for defaming her (and she has enough evidence to sue him again for doing it again after the trial).
Today's fine is $354 million. And he still faces about 90 criminal cases that may land him in federal prison unless he pays all the rest of his money on better defense attorneys or MAGAots rise up again and break him out of jail through another attempted insurrection that results in a second U.S. Civil War. Let's add it up:
354,000,000.00 (today's fine for fraud)
500,000,000.00 (defense attorneys' bill)
083,000,000.00 (fine for defamation)
005,000,000.00 (fine for rape/sexual assault)
500,000,000.00 (future legal fees)
= more than the billion he started with
Will this cost Trump a young trophy wife?
Melania: I'll be taking my half and going now.
If Don John Trump started with a billion (1,000 million), and that's a big if -- given that he was convicted of financial fraud in New York for lying about how much his assets are worth or what he's spending his hush money on, and most of his tax documents do not seem to be examined by the mainstream media that allegedly worked so hard to have access to them -- he is down to almost nothing.
Trump’s claim to be immune from prosecution for his crimes REJECTED, Taylor Swift Super Bowl bets, Apple's new virtual reality helmet, LeVar Burton's banned Book Rainbow
(Jimmy Kimmel Live) Feb. 6, 2024: It’s been raining cats and dogs in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, you can bet all things Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl, Donald Trump wasn’t even on the ballot at the Republican primary in Nevada, the DC Federal Appeals Court issued their much-anticipated decision telling Trump he doesn't have “presidential immunity,” apparently Don John wants to debate Joe Biden immediately, the new Apple “Vision Pro” goggles are taking over, and LeVar Burton weighs in on the banning of books in America.
Nikki Haley’s embarrassing loss to "No One," Tucker has the guts to interview Pres. Putin, the Super Bowl heads to Vegas as Taylor Swift races back from Japan
(Jimmy Kimmel Live) Feb. 7, 2024: Nikki Haley ran basically unopposed in the Nevada primary and still managed to lose to “None of These Candidates,” Facebook and Instagram are planning to crack down on misleading AI generated images ahead of the election, Mike "MyPillow" Lindell’s commercials are back on Fox News, Tucker Carlson is in Moscow to interview Pres. Vlad Putin, there's a double dose of airport nudity and a truck trying to surf in “This Week in Florida,” the Super Bowl is headed to Vegas and thanks to Taylor "Nazi Barbie" Swift the commercials are being geared more towards women than men this year, and the show goes out to Hollywood Blvd. for a special Super Bowl commercial themed "Lie Witness News."
SURFING IN THE RAIN: Evan Ricciardi, 18, a student at Biola University, takes his turn using a rope from a footbridge to stay in position and surf stormwater rushing through a La Mirada flood control channel that runs through La Mirada Creek Park on Tuesday, 2/6/24 (Allen J. Schaben/Los Angeles Times).
Here is the PATHETIC end to Bernie Sanders' career as he gaslights the public and tries to put positive spin on his unwavering for Democrat (the left wing of our American one-party system, the Money Party) support for status quo politics and Zionist (by his own admission) Pres. "Genocidal Joe" Biden's backing of Israel's war on Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank and anyone it can label "Hamas." Bernie wants his American supporters to "feel the burn," as his campaign slogan says, and his hypocrisy is in full evidence now that his wife is in big trouble, and he has to defend her or risk losing his wife or going to jail for misappropriation of funds from the Sanders' campaign.

(MSNBC)
