OMG! It's really happening! Nazi Princess TayTay Swift-Swift is marrying handsome, rugged, and rich Trav Kelce! America will never be the same! Take that, England, with your dumb royal weddings and bill balls. All patriotic Americans will yawn and be kept up late by illegal fireworks for the nuptials or some holiday tomorrow. Who can say?
All this banging scaring the pets, and Attention Whur's Tay and Trav (or as we've dubbed them "Tray and Lor" or "Trailer," trash Madison Square Garden and) suck all the oxygen out of the nation with their big, fat, Greek god wedding.
I win! I'm best! Everyone's jealous!
Not since Led Zeppelin trashed MSG to film their The Song Remains the Same live album has the venue seen so much recorded action.
Good luck and best wishes to the couple! Take some time off, Taylor! You should relax, not make music for a long time, spend your billions. Thanks for the $26 mil in write-off donations! The commoners will eat tonight and survive another day on this green earth. Thank you! Whatever your motive, it's good to give! Even a bad motive is somewhat counter-weighed by a good gift. Giving makes everyone richer, now the recipient, in time the giver.
You will not express violence in any way, or else!
Is shooting a person for saying we should all say what we want anything to celebrate? Is gunning down a right-wing Trump mouthpiece anything to aspire to? No, of course not. Celebrating the death of anyone, even the worst people in the world (Netanyahu, Hitler, Neo-Nazis, Rosie O'Donnell, KKK, hypocritical Oprah, my neighbor Robbie Joiner) is unskillful karma. In the marketplace of ideas, we should seek to be offended and let the worst ideas have their day. That is how we make progress. Slipping into our niches and a world of unquestioned assumptions is a kind of death, a moribund state of anesthesia. Sadly, we live in a society that simultaneously glorifies and condemns violence, particularly violence against the powers that be. A pale male with a gun did harm. What a surprise. Who saw that coming? Why are there no calls to restrict guns from white males? If POC and LGBTQIA+ individuals should be restricted, shouldn't the No. 1 killers, shooters, and gun owners be at the top of the list? We live in a violence-glorifying and hypocritical society, so it is not to be expected that progress will be made. If an overbearing government cannot be trusted to protect us, how can we protect ourselves from an overbearing government? Polemical arguments? Compassion for all? Picking and choosing?
Charlie Kirk ‘South Park’ episode under fire
(New York Post) Sept. 11, 2025: Charlie Kirk was fatally gunned down while speaking at a Utah college event yesterday, some MAGA supporters are pointing the finger at insensitive “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, alleging they helped fuel the hatred that led to the conservative influencer’s assassination as a result of one of the show’s recent episodes.
(Mr. Newberger's AI Funnies) In response to Trump's AI post of himself as Pope Benedict Arnold I, Mr. Newberger presents the hit new musical, Antichrist, a satirical rock-opera in the spirit of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar, reimagining Trump’s rise as a twisted false prophet. (Didn't have to imagine too hard).

Trump on upholding constitution: "I don't know" | The Daily Show
Obese-Wan Kenobi
(The Daily Show) May 5, 2025: Jon Stewart sorts Trump's latest barrage of bullsh*t into "OK" and "NOT OK" piles, including telling kids to cut down on dolls and pencils, calling for Alcatraz Island to reopen as an Al Capone Era prison, posting AI-generated images of himself as the new pope, and shrugging off the American Constitution as something he only promotes during campaigns. #DailyShow #AI#Alcatraz #Trump #Pope

Bruno Mars is a second-rate drummer but a darn good singer as he tries to outshine a phenom named Rose (New Zealander/South Korean of K-Pop supergroup Blackpink) in "APT." a mega hit that deserves a listen or is worthy of being put on rotation for constant replay. Step aside, Princess Olivia, and never mind, Consort Doja. Wow, Rose is a rocker with her brash pronunciations and catchy lyricism. It's like she swallowed Britney's spunk with a Shakirachaser.
SAINT PATRICK'S DHARMA: Welcome to Zen Buddhism Ireland (ZBI) with Myozan Kodo (妙山興道). Years ago, on March 17th, he delivered a little talk on Irish history concerning a possibly ahistorical figure named "St. Paddy" to mark St. Patrick's Day. Rev. Myozan Kodo lives his Zen Buddhist spiritual tradition on the Emerald Isle at zenbuddhism.ie, which is open to all.
The Irish are nothing if not amazing storytellers. Our own resident poet, Seven O'Dhr, frequently performs his epic "Finnegan's Awake" to stunned crowds who cannot comprehend how there can be so many rhyming syllables delivered in a Gaelic cadence in what is ostensibly an all-English poem. The piece is, of course, a tip o' the hat to James Joyce and his magnum opus Finnegans Wake, but both works are rooted in an old Dublin ditty everyone who's ever entered a pub has heard, "Finnegan's Wake." What now if the classic song were Buddhified? If the story of Saint Paddy can be, as certainly it was all dreamed up by the Church over the years to sanitize the genocide of the indigenous pagan "snakes" being chased off the snakeless island.

(The Daily Show) Kamala [who arrived late, forcing a shorter interview that she nevertheless attempted to filibuster and railroad through without answering any question but only belaboring points and changing the subject to something more comfortable and less confrontational] takes on Fox News [kind and reasonable] Host Bret Baier, and Trump rambles in Univision Town Hall [to pander to the Latin demographic he desperately needs to win over to win the election].
Oct. 17, 2024: #DailyShow #DesiLydic #KamalaHarris Desi Lydic tackles how Kamala Harris and Donald Trump fared when they exited their media comfort zones this week, with testy Harris facing an assertive Bret Baier of Fox News, and Trump getting way too many words in during a failed Univision town hall also organized by Fox.
Grace Kuhlenschmidt reports on the candidates entering the "lion's den" from...an actual lion's den. Trump is grilled by surprisingly direct and to the point Latino voters, brags about his “fertile mind,” and lawyers try to pay off pornstar Stormy Daniels AGAIN [whom Trump still claims to have never met in spite of being photographed with her].
(Jimmy Kimmel Live) Oct 17, 2024: The country is 18 days away from the presidential election and the usual horse race is said to be very close (like it is said to be every four year, neck and neck so that there's just no predicting what could happen), according to the New York Times the Trump election campaign has sent more than 7,400 emails asking for money since Nov. of 2022 (more than 10 a day every day for two years), most of them looking for cash but sometimes they try to sweeten the pot with exciting albeit FAKE offers like the Ultra MAGA Membership or meeting Don Junior, Trump has been doing cozy chats with wannabe "Bro Rogans" of the podcasting world, he took his talents to South Beach for a Univision Town Hall where he was grilled on important issues, over the summer Trump’s lawyers tried to make a second hush money payment to keep Stormy Daniels quiet about her affair with Trump, and it's time again for This Week in Unnecessary Censorship. #Kimmel
