Thai Army Junior Officer Jakraphanth Thomma, 20, [got tired and] killed his commanding officer before stealing weapons from a military camp.
He has murdered 20 people and injured dozens more [at least 31 according to the AP] in a gun rampage in the Thai city of Nakhon Ratchasima, Northeast Thailand (Isan).

The suspect continued his attack in a shopping center, where he is now believed to be holed up, initially posting updates on his social media.
