Truth hurts: stand up comedy (video)

Free every Sunday at the Verdugo, L.A.
We caught Hellwig at Friendship Buddies Comedy at the Verdugo in L.A. His comedy caught our attention because of some shocking truths he reveals. He plays it dangerous, and that's what American comedians are for. If it's not saying out loud what we're thinking then it ought to be revealing what should be known. The truth hurts, but the truth is the only way to go when Hollywood, DC, and the mainstream media are propagandist fantasy factories.

(Flappers Comedy Club) Erick Hellwig is a stand up comedian, writer, and actor who relocated to Tinsel Town (Hollywood Land, Los Angeles), who performs around the country. He started in comedy in 2008 in New York City, performing in repertory at The PIT and doing stand up comedy in clubs. He has been seen in Greatest Party Story Ever and Truth or Dare (MTV), Brain Games (Nat Geo), numerous new media projects and commercials, and has written for Money From Strangers (MTV) and Funny or Die. In 2017, he also wrote and starred in the independent comedy pilot Death Lives.
