Machiavelli's understanding of sexual desire
| The Polyamorous Professors Geoffrey Miller and Diana Fleischman on Rebel Wisdom |
The Prince and what prostitutes can teach us about evolutionary biology
.
The Prince (Italian Il Principe, Latin De Principatibus) is a 16th-century political treatise written by Machiavelli, an Italian diplomat, philosopher, and political theorist.
He wrote it in the form of a realistic instruction guide for new princes. Many commentators have viewed that one of the main themes of The Prince is that immoral acts are sometimes necessary to achieve political glory [1, 2].

(Keith Edwards) Leaked audio confirms Melania was an escort [who "dated" and may have had a baby with pimp, Israeli spy, and professional child molester Jeffrey Trump before marrying Donny Trump]
From Machiavelli's correspondence, a version was apparently being written in 1513, using the Latin title De Principatibus ("Of Principalities") [3].
However, the printed version was not published until 1532, five years after the death of Machiavelli. This was carried out with the permission of the Medici Pope Clement VII.
But "long before then, in fact since the first appearance of The Prince in manuscript, controversy had swirled about his writings" [4].
Although The Prince was written as if it were a traditional work in the mirrors for princes style, it was generally agreed as being especially innovative.
This is partly because it was written in the vernacular Italian rather than formal Latin. More
American Evolutionary Psychologist Miller's sex research
Dr. Miller's 2003 book The Mating Mind: How Sexual Choice Shaped the Evolution of Human Nature proposes that human mate choices, courtship behavior, behavior genetics, psychometrics, and life cycle patterns support the survival value of traits related to sexual selection, such as art, morality, language, and creativity.
According to Dr. Miller, the adaptive design features of these traits suggest that they evolved through mutual mate choice by both sexes to advertise [in]heritable fitness [13].
- WHO IS DR. MILLER? Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Miller graduated from Columbia University in 1987 [5], where he earned a BA in biology and psychology. He received his Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from Stanford University in 1993, with Roger N. Shepard as his principal adviser [1].
Behavior
Dr. Miller's clinical interests are the application of fitness indicator theory to understand the symptoms, demographics, and behavior genetics of schizophrenia and mood disorders.
His other interests include the origins of human preferences, aesthetics, utility functions, human strategic behavior, game theory, experiment-based economics, the ovulatory effects on female mate preferences, and the intellectual legacies of Charles Darwin, Friedrich Nietzsche, and Thorstein Veblen.
In 2007, Dr. Miller (with Joshua Tybur and Brent Jordan) published an article in Evolution and Human Behavior, concluding, based on a sample size of 18 strippers at a club in Albuquerque, New Mexico, over a two-month period, that lap dancers make more money during ovulation [14, 15].
| Spent: Sex, Evolution [and Shopping] |
In his 2009 book Spent: Sex, Evolution and the Secrets of Consumerism, Dr. Miller attempts to apply Darwinism to consumerism, arguing that marketing has exploited our inherited instincts to display social status for reproductive advantage [17].
He makes the claim that marketing persuades people—particularly the young—that the most effective way to display social status is through consumption choices over than conveying traits such as intelligence and personality through direct communication [18]. More

Tartaria and 13 were purposely erased
Why they made '13' a forbidden number
![]() |
| Thirteen is good, special, and banned |
The standard explanation — that 13 became unlucky through accumulated folklore and religious association — collapses when we examine what the evidence actually shows: not a gradual cultural drift, but a coordinated, institutionally enforced disappearance.
![]() |
| Everyone used to know about Tartaria. |
As I investigated the ancient record — from the Mayan Tzolk'in to the Druidic tree calendar to the Osirian mysteries of Egypt to the turtle-shell lunar counts of indigenous North America — a disturbing pattern materialized.
![]() |
| Of course, we had to cover it up. That goes... |
These weren't parallel coincidences across unconnected cultures. They were the same underlying logic: 13 lunar cycles per year, 13 as a cosmic threshold, 13 as the number that resists clean division and refuses to be controlled, all embedded in stone and ceremony across continents and millennia. Then, quietly, it was gone because here's what the replacement also did.
The 12-month calendar didn't just reorganize administrative time, it may have severed something older: the synchronization between human beings and natural cycles — body, moon, season, sky — that had structured life across every pre-modern culture was superseded.
It was not banned, not destroyed outright, just reframed allegedly as "superstition," pathologized, given a clinical name. And the generations that remembered another way of counting time died without passing that memory forward.
This investigation asks whether the disappearance of 13 was accidental — or whether it was the point, whether the most effective erasure isn't the one that destroys knowledge entirely, but the one that makes the question itself seem ridiculous. Once one sees the pattern, one can't unsee it.

| I never really think about the ocean. It's just here. |
Someday, maybe on June 8th, it will be World Ocean Day. Then people will begin to realize our whole way of life is made possible by the oceans.
Trees give us so much, and we can see them. The ocean with all its plankton, water cycle, and underwater forests gives us more, but we cannot see it.

What a wonder the ocean

The act of wondering serves to remind us that we are part of something bigger. It wakes us up to our inherent connection to this earth and to each other, expands our understanding of what is possible, empowers innovation, and prioritizes decision-making for collective wellbeing.
While the ocean sustains our planet, wonder sustains our humanity. If the warnings haven't changed us, wonder is what will. More: United Nations World Oceans Day

Rebirth: dying countless times: Samsara
We’ve died [countless] deaths and still don’t know why: Buddhist Abhidhamma explained
![]() |
| Ocean of Saṃsāra (Bhavacakra) |
[Samsara also has no foreseeable end, like a carousel. Like a whirlpool in the ocean, it will not stop, but it is possible to escape get off.]
Drawing from powerful Buddhist sutras like the Anamatagga Samyutta and deep insights from the Abhidhamma (the "Doctrine in Ultimate Terms" or "Higher Teaching"), let's reveal the hidden causes of our suffering and why we keep returning again and again.
🧘♂️ LEARN:
- What is Samsara and why does it feel endless?
- How our past lives shape our present life
- How to escape the cycle according to the Buddha.
We are on infinite repeat (Groundhog Day)
SUTRA: All the Foliage in a Forest
(Linked Discourses 15.1, Chapter One, "Grass and Sticks")
Thus have I heard. At one time the Buddha was staying near Sāvatthī within Jeta’s Grove, in millionaire’s monastery. There he addressed the meditators, “Meditators!”
“Venerable sir,” they replied.
Then the Buddha told them, “Meditators, this Samsara (Cycle of Rebirth) has no discernible beginning. No first point is to be found of sentient beings wandering and being reborn, clouded by [the smoke of] ignorance and fettered [and being burned] by craving.
“Suppose a person were to strip all the grass, sticks, branches, and leaves in the Black Plum Tree Land, gather them together into a single pile, chop them into pieces, and lay them down, saying:
“‘This is my mother, this is my grandmother...’ The grass, sticks, branches, and leaves of the Black Plum Tree Land would run out before that person’s mothers and grandmothers were all counted. Why? Samsara has no discernible beginning. No first point is to be found of sentient beings wandering and being reborn, clouded by ignorance and fettered by craving.
“For a long time have we all undergone disaster, disappointment, and agony, swelling the cemeteries. It has been more than long enough for one to become disillusioned, dispassionate, and freed from all conditions.”
🙏 The Buddha realized the endlessness of Samsara through his fully awakened wisdom on the night of his great enlightenment (maha bodhi). With the divine eye (dibba cakkhu) he developed, he gained the recollection of countless past lives, his own and others'.
He saw beings being born and dying over vast aeons (kalpas), across uncountable realms (on 31 Planes of Existence, which are divided into three spheres), with no discernible beginning point to the impersonal, impermanent, and impossible-to-satisfy cycle.
The Buddha taught in the Anamatagga Samyuththa, “The beginning of this continued wandering on is not to be discovered.”
This is stated not based on faith but direct knowledge. Samsara is endless because each life is caused by previous karma (deeds), which are willed and carried out due to ignorance and craving and aversion. These in turn arise from previous conditions, in a chain of 12 causal links beginning with ignorance.
Thus, the Buddha clearly saw that there was no ultimate creator, no first cause [or prime mover], only a wheel of conditional existence turning without beginning. More

Gnosticism: Why the 'God' traps souls
The REAL reason GOD is TRAPPING souls on Earth | BANNED by the Church | On the Origin of the World
![]() |
| Gnosticism for knowledge and wisdom |
Through texts like On the Origin of the World, we learn that humanity’s fall into this world severed our connection to our true divine/deva-realm (see Aggañña Sutta) origin, chaining us to a cycle of endless rebirths, suffering, distractions, and desires.
The material world we see around us, our bodies, our ambitions, and even our societies all work to keep us ignorant of our true spiritual purpose.
"Soul"? The subtle body pattern of the gross body
According to Gnosticism, these external forces are orchestrated by the Archons ("Rulers" Archangels), powerful enforcers of the Demiurge's rule.
The path to freedom lies in Gnosis, an inner awakening that helps us rediscover our divine spark and break free from the illusion.
This video is a guide through the Gnostic view of reality, offering insight into how to reclaim spiritual autonomy and embrace the truth hidden within us.
Catch it and don’t miss out by subscribing, sharing, and clicking the link to discover the truth that will set us free.
