Dalai Lama in Wisconsin: Kalachakra

14th Dalai Lama praying in pavilion, closing Kalachakra mandala (Verizon Center, D.C.)

The 14th Dalai Lama comes to Wisconsin to perform the ancient Kalachakra ritual.

The Dalai Lama's Gift
Tantric Dakini deity
(Lama Yeshe Wisdom Archive) A hidden ritual. A sacred promise. A transmission into a buddha's transcendent compassionate wisdom. A corn field transformed.

In 1980, HH the Dalai Lama received a humble request from a revered Tibetan monk in America: Perform the Kalachakra initiation—a powerful tantric ritual never before held outside of India or Tibet—in the heart of rural Wisconsin.

What followed was nothing short of miraculous. In just a few months, the lama's devoted students overcame local resistance, built a temple from the ground up, and transformed a Midwestern cornfield into a site of ancient wisdom and spiritual awakening, attracting over 1,000 spiritual seekers from around the world.

Captured on film then locked away in Smithsonian vaults for over 40 years, this long-lost footage resurfaces to reveal a story of transformation to buddhahood, and a moment when time, space, and a sacred initiation converged in the unlikeliest of places.

This story of the 1981 Kalachakra is told through the voices of distinguished scholars and the initiates who participated in the 1981 Kalachakra and through personal interviews of the Dalai Lama, filmed in 1981, throughout the preparation and the event.

The Dalai Lama’s Gift is a cinematic meditation on faith, legacy, and the power of one sacred encounter to ripple across generations.

China and India preparing for war (WSJ)

A billion people here, another billion there
(WSJ) How China is quietly bracing for war with India
. Pakistan is delighted. How much money will Israel and its affiliated arms dealers make from selling weapons in this conflict? How will the CIA angle for long-term advantage (full spectrum dominance) in the region? And does the 14th Dalai Lama regret taking sides and affiliating himself with The Company (aka the CIA)?

Trip to Dharamshala to see Dalai Lama

Should I return as a hot woman or a comedian?

DHARAMSHALA, India | a spiritual journey
(Cece Marie) Aug. 18, 2023: Hey, Friends! This week I explored the beautiful town of Dharamshala, India. This hippy, spiritual town is not one to be missed. Home to the Dalai Lama, there is a certain sense of love, happiness & hope in the air. I really took a break from vlogging while I was here and the rest of my trip in India. But I still managed to put together a lovely video of my memories for you. My wish is for you to feel inspired by the end of this video! Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoy ✨ xoxo, Cece Marie ✨ #dalailama #dharamkot #spiritualjourney

The Dalai Lama blesses holiest American boy
(PBS NewsHourCOLUMBIA HEIGHTS, Minnesota - Oct. 27, 2016: Like any 4th grade American boy, Jalue Dorje enjoys soccer, swimming, and Pokémon cards. But unlike most 9-year-olds, he is believed to be -- and confirmed by the Dalai Lama himself and other Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhist spiritual leaders -- the willful "reincarnation" (tulku) of an eminent senior lama who died nine years ago. Special correspondent Fred de Sam Lazaro reports. PBS is an American public broadcast service.

American tulku Jalue Dorje turns 18

American teenager prepares for life as a Tibetan Buddhist leader | TaiwanPlus News
(TaiwanPlus News) Nov. 21, 2024: Jalue Dorje, an 18-year-old Tibetan American, celebrated his coming-of-age in Minnesota in a suburb of Minneapolis called Columbia Heights, with an enthronement ceremony. At just four months old, Jalue Dorje was identified as a reincarnated lama, the rebirth of a venerated leader of a Tibetan Vajrayana (Esoteric) Buddhist sect. After he graduates high school next year, the teen who loves American football and [foulmouthed and filthy] rap music will head to a monastery (lamasery) in the Indian Buddhist Himalayas for the next stage of his spiritual journey.

Sex talk with the Dalai Lama (video)

Controversy of the Dalai Lama's innocent "young boy play" or homosexual child grooming?

Buddhist sex partner or consort tradition for nirvana with the Dalai Lama

How feel about rabbi touch boys? - Excuse me?
(Markham X དམར་ཁམས་ ཧ་) The clergy member (the Western Tibetan Buddhist nun Tenzin Palmo) here questions the current Dalai Lama. She is a British nun based in England. The patriarch acts coy.

She presses him on how Tibetan monks can abuse their disciples using "crazy wisdom" as their excuse or theory behind their misbehavior.

The Dalai Lama, while not putting his tongue in a young boy's mouth for fun, ends up ridiculing her instead of standing behind her and her concern.
  • This tulku's pope allow it?
[Are we Westerners too uptight, too concerned with something as trivial as sexual exploitation, abuse, or homosexual play? There's that concerning moment in the Tibetan movie Unmistaken Child where a Tibetan monk fondles the private parts of the child on screen, laughing as if the young boy has no idea how much gay fun he is going to have growing up as a lama, learning to fear and avoid females, while growing ever closer to older men and maybe even finding a nice pederasty position, not that that is ever spoken of in public. What are we, Puritans?]
I love boys very much, girl also, tongues soft.
The Dalai Lama has no objection with self-proclaimed Tibetan "Living Buddhas" sexually abusing their white female disciples on the pretext that "tantric sex" is a good way to gain quick nirvana or sudden enlightenment...

The Dalai Lama himself recounts an incident when he was asked by a [hot] blonde, white nun to provide him [her?] an "empowerment" of the third kind, meaning tantric sex, so that she could get into nirvana fast and furiously.

And now for a Jedi mind trick. No one believe such things I do. Believe your lying eyes?
You protect me in international criminal court, right Bushy? - Right, Dolly, and here's a painting.
.
Tibetan "Living Buddhas" such as abusive sex-cult leader Chogyam Trungpa [formerly a rinpoche who disrobed to marry a child from England as well as his accused rapist son, Master Sakyong Mipham, he left his Shambhala Buddhist lineage to be pope-king of run who then went on to sexually abuse many nearly bringing the organization/cult to financial ruin] and lusty Sogyal Rinpoche have abused white Vajrayana Buddhist practitioners since as early as the freewheeling 1960s in the name of a bizarre "crazy wisdom" practice as if they were intending to be Milarepa.

The Dalai Lama [like the current pope dealing with child molester Catholic priests in either Latin America or Rome] failed to condemn the acts of such scum.

Dalai Lama backlash for telling boy to suck him
The Dalai Lama says, "Once you decide to be with a Dharma teacher for 12 years, and later you find that he is sexually abusive towards you, you should keep a distance from him/her instead of reporting him/her to the police [that might arrest him/her and embarrass us and all of Mahayana Buddhism and cost us money in a lawsuit that airs out our dirty laundry]."

But is keeping a "distance" enough? Rape, child molestation, and sexual abuse are all illegal, and whoever abuses another deserves a jail sentence instead of some "distance."
  • That why Chinese soldier kill my lamas?
Buddhist monks, nuns, lamas, and rinpoches are all bound by rules of celibacy (in accordance with the Pratimoksha and Monastic Disciplinary Rules or Vinaya boundaries laid down by the historical Buddha). Celibacy, if violated, means one is instantly (before any proceedings or conviction or even before anyone else finds out about it) and irreversibly not a Buddhist monk anymore (meaning one cannot be re-ordained in this lifetime). But if one wants to say or have people believe that he is now a "Living Buddha" who sets his own rules, that sounds like an additional "defeat" (parajika) offense of lying about attainments (the fourth of the four defeat offenses) no one is enforcing.
Don't ask, don't tell, right, Dolly? They just want $$
But then what if these [white female] disciples know everything and act to seduce monks [against their will just] so that they can later bring lawsuits against them in order to get some money?

You never know... So the Dalai Lama is cautious and doesn't fall on either side of the gender debate, male or female [rapist or victim, Tibetan "Living Buddha" or disciple, defeated monk guilty of sexual contact or innocent student].
  • [Sophistry:] Q. 3: Why Vajrayana practice needs female consort? [And will little boys do, you know, for practice before one is able to talk a white woman into it?] Of course, what the teacher is explaining could be true, but who is judging whether or not one is "bound by afflictions" but oneself? So self-deception allows one to have sex while saying, "I'm above desire." Oh, this erection? It's compassion. It's a selfless act. How could you even question me, Tantrika? - OK.

The childhood of a Tibetan grand lama | SLICE
(SLICE) DARJEELING, Nepal - Ratak Puntso seems like any other 2-year-old, but he has always been destined for an exceptional life. Recognized as the tulku or reincarnation of the Vajrayana Buddhist Grand Master Kalu Rinpoche, Ratak is already inducted as a grand lama of Tibetan Buddhism. Tibet names reincarnated lama; China angry

Scott Simon, WES, 4/1/23; CC Liu, Sheldon S., Ashley Wells (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
A Mongolian boy has been declared an important leader for Tibetan Buddhists
If Dalai Lama were not a U/S. asset
SSimon
(NPR) A Mongolian boy has been named a top leader of Tibetan Buddhism [reborn on earth and therefore called a tulku]. China is angry about this development as, officially, it maintains that it controls all Tibetan rebirths.]

NPR's Scott Simon talks with Julian Dierkes of the University of British Columbia on the implications for Mongolian-Chinese relations.

HOST SCOTT SIMON: The Dalai Lama and Tibetan Buddhists have declared their third most-important spiritual leader has been reincarnated in the body of an 8-year-old boy in Mongolia. The news has brought joy to [Tibetan Vajrayana] Buddhists, but it's also expected to create [political and economic] problems between Mongolia and neighboring China, which regards Tibetan [Vajrayana] Buddhism with suspicion and often outright hostility. Julian Dierkes is an associate professor at the University of British Columbia and joins us now. Thanks so much for being with us.

China: Pope will not meet with 14th Dalai Lama
PROF. JULIAN DIERKES
: Well, thank you for your interest.

SIMON: Do we know much about this young man?

DIERKES: We don't really. There's a little bit of news reporting, but that's not quite confirmed yet. I think it's probably deliberately being kept a little bit vague.

SIMON: For his own safety?

DIERKES: In part although we believe him to be in Mongolia, and so there wouldn't be any threat to him. But, you know, he's 8 years old by the reporting -- maybe keep him out of the limelight a little bit.

SIMON: Yeah, Tibetan Buddhists say he is the 10th reincarnation of the Khalka Jetsun Dhampa Rinpoche. How do they know? How did the news come out?

Hopi Native Americans meet Dalai Lama
DIERKES: I am not a specialist on [Vajrayana] Buddhist reincarnations and how they find them [the tulkus], but it is a process the clerical hierarchy follows. And the announcement now has been an official announcement. There was an earlier announcement by the Dalai Lama when he was visiting Mongolia last that the search was on and that they were expecting to name someone. But that was not quite 10 years ago, but a while ago. And now the official announcement came. More
