(Mantraon) Superstitious Buddhist monks crossing a dangerous bridge: deep Tibetan chant of Om mani padme hum for calm and nervous system reset with help of internet slop
Trolls and a princess (John Bauer)
A bridge troll is a being in Nordic folklore, including Norse mythology. In Old Norse sources, beings described as "trolls" dwell in isolated areas of mountains, rocks, and caves, live together in small family units, and are rarely helpful to human beings.
In later Scandinavian folklore, trolls became beings in their own right, where they live far from human habitation, are not Christianized and brought to heel (like Zionist Hillary Clinton might like), and are considered dangerous to human beings.

Humans better not mess with us or we're going to attack them online so they can be sad.
TROLLS IN BUDDHISM: A kumbhāṇḍa (Sanskrit) or kumbhaṇḍa (Pāli) is one of a group of dwarfish, trollish, misshapen spirits among the lesser unseen beings in Buddhist cosmology and mythology [1, 2]. Kumbhāṇḍa was a dialectal form for "gourd." Due to their large scrotums or stomachs, they got their name from the resemblance. Kumbhāṇḍa may be interpreted as "pot-egg" since kumbha ("pot," like the world's largest festival, the Kumbha Mela about a pot/jar that spilled the "nectar of the gods," the amrita or ambrosia of immortality, on a few spots in India) and "egg"(anda). This was a common euphemism for "testicle." Kumbhāṇḍas had testicles "as large as pots" [1]. The terms kumbhāṇḍa (dwarf or troll) and yakṣa (ogre, Sasquatch, female yaksha = yakshi or Yeti) are sometimes used for the same creature. Yakṣa (Pali yakkha) in this case is the more general term and includes a variety of lower woodland or for the most part unseen beings inhabiting wilderness areas. More

WHAT KIND OF KARMA? In slang, an internet troll is a person who posts deliberately offensive or provocative messages online [1] (such as on social media, forums, chat rooms, or online video games) or performs similar behaviors offline. The methods and motivations of these subhuman trolls can range from benign to sadistic. These messages can be inflammatory, insincere, digressive [2], extraneous, or off-topic, and may have the intent of provoking others into displaying emotional responses [3], or manipulating others' perceptions, thus acting as a bully or a provocateur. The behavior is typically for the troll's amusement, or to achieve a specific result such as disrupting a rival's online activities or purposefully causing confusion or harm to other people [4]. Trolling behaviors involve tactical aggression to incite emotional responses, which can adversely affect the target's well-being [5]. In this context, the noun and the verb forms of "troll" are frequently associated with internet discourse. Since at least the 2010s, media attention has equated trolling with online harassment. The Courier-Mail and The Today Show have used "troll" to mean "a person who defaces Internet tribute sites with the aim of causing grief to families" [6, 7]. In addition, depictions of trolling have been included in popular fictional works, such as the HBO television program The Newsroom, in which a main character encounters harassing persons online and tries to infiltrate their circles by posting negative sexual comments [8]. More
Depending on the source, their appearance varies greatly; trolls may be ugly and slow-witted or look and behave exactly like human beings, with no particularly grotesque characteristic about them.
In Scandinavian folklore, trolls are sometimes associated with particular landmarks like bridges (sometimes said to have been formed by a troll having been exposed to sunlight).
Trolls are depicted in a variety of media in modern popular culture.
Etymology (word origin)
Jotunn, dwarf, troll, in Scandinavian lore
The Old Norse nouns troll and trǫll are variously defined as "fiend, demon, werewolf, jötunn," like the Middle High German troll, trolle, "fiend."
According to philologist Vladimir Orel, the word is likely borrowed from Old Norse, possibly developed from Proto-Germanic neuter noun *trullan, meaning "to tread, step on" [tromp, stomp, stamp]. The origin of the Proto-Germanic word is unknown [1]. Additionally, the Old Norse verb trylla means "to enchant..." More

It's hard-listening (as opposed to easy-listening) music(k). "Keep it brutal," Cannibal Corpse and others like to say. Is Dimmu Borgir (pronounced \dee-moo bore-gur\) now the greatest band ever -- in the extreme rock category in general and symphonic black metal in particular?
Cradle of Filth, whom they used to be compared to all the time, can't hold a candle to this symphonic virtuosity. And limp Larstellica is just common stock rock (except calm Kirk, who's kool). The thrash element makes sense, the punk intensity, but it's the unimaginable precision, the technical proficiency, the innate talent to put all this together into a beautiful whole, and never mind the addition of the real orchestra. It is all too much, in the best way, monstrous elements and all. These hits are from Death Cult Armageddon.
See if anyone can name this classical tune.
So one day we went to a yoga class in Venice Beach, California, and the instructor told everyone to call him "Maestro." After class, next to my beautiful girlfriend he was staring at, I asked him why "Maestro"? It turns out he was a classical music buff pulling a Seinfeld, feeling himself much more of an orchestra conductor in life than a yoga teacher. He claimed he could recognize any classical song in just a few notes, not only the Beethoven stuff but obscure tunes, too. I always wanted to stymie him and prove him wrong with the following song, "Eradication Instincts Defined," because he would never guess it was a bunch of anti-church Norwegian hooligans playing extreme black metal with such sophistication in orchestration:
"Eradication Instincts Defined"
They really do make music like this, with a real-life orchestra.

Leif Erikson: The First European in North America
Hi, we're here to rape and pillage
(Viking) Thanks to a rhyme we were forced to learn and repeat in grade school, many Americans believe that Crypto-Jew (Converso) Cristobal Columbus first discovered America in 1492, after sailing the ocean blue. But what if it were an Irish monk or Viking Leif Erikson who sailed the seas serene that were aquamarine?
This Viking Cruises® video chronicles how, nearly 500 years before the debt-ridden Italian (Jewish Spanish) explorer sailed the Atlantic, a 25-year-old Norse navigator named Leif Erikson and a crew of 35 men set sail to explore the seas west of Greenland.
Scandinavia is a cold subregion of Northern Europe where the native Sámi peoples live in the Xmas lifestyle or reindeer, shamanism, and hallucinogenic mushrooms.
Viking = "pirate"
When Erikson arrived on the shores of what he called “Vinland,” he became the first known European to set foot in North America.
The Vikings knew about the Buddha: The "Helgo Buddha" Treasure

Helgo Buddha is a Viking treasure indicating world trade
Helgö is an island in Ekerö Municipality in Stockholm County, Sweden, situated on the lake Mälaren. The island's greatest width is about 0.9 mi (1.5 km), it is about 3.1 miles (5 km) long and covers 119 acres (48 hectares). Excavations are ongoing on Helgö.
The island is perhaps best known for a major archeological area. The old trading town on Helgö began to emerge around the year 200 AD, 500 years before Birka at Björkö.
The Helgö Buddha
The first archeological dig in 1954 uncovered the remains of the early settlement, including a workshop area which attracted international interest. The most notable finds included a small Buddha statuette from North India and a christening scoop from Egypt, both dating from the 6th century.
The Indian Buddha statuette, the Irish crozier [1], and the Egyptian Coptic scoop found on Helgö are presently on display in the Swedish History Museum in Stockholm... More
ABOUT: Narrated by Viking Cruises Senior Vice President Karine Hagen, this short film traces Erikson’s history and his voyage into immortality. The son of intrepid Viking explorer Erik "Erik the Red" Thorvaldson, (Erik's son =) Erikson led the historic journey from Greenland to North America through uncharted waters without a compass. Although the discovery was celebrated for centuries in Norse legend and stories, many doubted the accuracy of those accounts. Doubts about Erikson’s discovery were finally dispelled in 1960, when modern-day explorers Helge and Anne Ingstad identified a Norse settlement located at the northern tip of Newfoundland that dates back to the exact time of Erikson’s voyage. In the United States, the achievement of the Viking explorer with adventure and exploration in his blood is commemorated every year on October 9th [when Greenlander, Neo-Nazi, and Norwegian Americans rampage quietly in their bedrooms and online]. Viking Cruises cherishes its Viking heritage and connection to seafaring visionaries like Leif Erikson. Karine Hagen of Viking River Cruises is our host. Learn more at vikingrivercruises.com
Solar eclipse: Why some will stay inside and meditate instead of watch
(Axios) Instead of going outside and looking to the sky during the total solar eclipse on the morning of April 8, 2024, some will stay inside with the curtains closed.
The big picture: For centuries, people have turned to rituals and mythology (prayers and astrology) to honor and make sense of the solar eclipse.
Zoom in: Members of the Navajo Nation traditionally treat the solar eclipse as a sacred time to stay inside and quietly meditate, Henry Fowler, a math educator at Navajo Technical University, tells Axios.
He says that when the solar eclipse happens, it's believed that the sun is dead, "but it's going to rejuvenate, rebirth itself in the cycle so that we're able to live in harmony with the natural laws again."
To "honor the order of the cosmos," Fowler says Navajos (Dine) don't drink water, eat, sleep, or use the restroom during an eclipse.
No, inside, Dummy, inside! Don't sit out here.
[My mother reports that in Mexico, it is believed that pregnant women had better stay indoors, for if the shadow should fall on them, their children may be born with clef palate. People have to make sense of what happens, so what better way than to look at anything happening at the same time? It's human nature, and it serves us on occasion but can go too far and enter the zone of superstitions.]
[To add mayhem and biblical significance to this scary event, a plague of locust-like creatures (three different species coinciding) will emerge in the trillions to cover lands in the path of totality.]
The Navajo don't look at an eclipse out of respect and because they worry the powerful event could lead to "unbalance in that individual," Fowler says.
Obey Science, not matter what it says
Context: In other cultures, there are stories that the solar eclipse is caused by a supernatural creature or monster [an asura or Titan named Rahu, rahula meaning "burden"] swallowing the sun [Suriya], James Deutsch, curator at the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage, tells Axios.
The Apapocúva-Guaraní people of eastern Paraguay and northern Brazil say eclipses are caused by a bat or jaguar chewing on the sun or moon.
In Norse culture, mischievous Loki is to blame for the darkness, because he lets his giant wolves swallow the sun and then the moon.
In Choctaw legend, it's a black squirrel trying to eat the sun.
The Pomo, an indigenous group in the northwestern United States, have a story about a bear taking a bite out of the moon.
In Hindu [Buddhist, and Jain] mytholog[ies], Rahu gets his head cut off after stealing and drinking the elixir of immortality. Then his bodiless head tries to swallow the sun.
Zoom out: The solar eclipse is a major international event.
VIDEO: Final preparations underway for Monday's solar eclipse (KTVU FOX 2 San Francisco)
We know the Moon better than anyone.
Although we now know the NASA version behind it, the total solar eclipse remains a multisensory phenomenon where the light suddenly turns to darkness and the temperature plummets.
Experiencing one feels like "the most unnatural natural thing you'll ever see in the sky," astronomer and artist Tyler Nordgren tells Axios.
Many people make loud noises when they view the event, just like people did hundreds or even thousands of years ago when they tried to scare mythical creatures away, Deutsch says.
The Goddess Freyja is associated with Friday, as all the days of the week are linked to devas.
What is a Norse goddess like?
Fridays are nice days, beloved by everyone leading a 9-to-5 lifestyle. It's time to worship Freyja tonight! It's like our weekly Halloween, as described by the Dead Kennedys.
In Norse mythology, Freyja (Old Norse "(The) Lady") is a goddess associated with love, beauty, fertility, sex, war, gold, and magic for seeing and influencing the future (seiðr).
Who are the devis (female deities)?
But this one's different. It's the 13th, time for triskaidekaphobia -- "fear of the number 13" -- more specifically paraskevidekatriaphobia and friggatriskaidekaphobia, for lovers of long words and/or abnormal psychology.
It's a day, as good as any other. Don John Trump is in big trouble. Sam Bankman Fried is in big trouble. Palestinians are in big trouble. Ukrainians are in big trouble. Pussy Riot is in big trouble (given Putin and Russia's growing success). The climate is in big trouble. Non-normative transgendered individuals are doing better actually. It's a day like any other.
Do former German Lutherans honor Vril?
But this is a formerly Christian nation, now mostly independent and agnostic, scientific and atheistic -- so if there were 12 Apostles, the 13th guy, ahhh! That's bad luck! If there are 13 months a year (yes 13, not 12, because one month is four weeks long or 28 days, and 13 months x 28 days = ??? That's right, 364. Add the New Year reset day and that's nearly what we call a "year"), which is why the new year always began in spring.
Now people say the Sumerians (Anunnaki extraterrestrial visitor civilization predating the religions of Mesopotamia and the geopolitical Middle East) gave us our calendar and our clock. They made the divisions, not us. But we through the Gregorian Calendar have ignored Earth's unfailing timekeeper, Luna (Chandra, Soma). Its regular phases used to guide all of humanity who had only to look up.
Someone or some group wants us disconnected from our Earth, the seasons, the phases, the divisions, the sabbath days (known as the uposatha days in Buddhism). We should have stuck with the lunar calendar, but the solar calendar has been made to dominate, just as males dominate females now. The rest of the world also falls back on a lunar-solar calendar. So "time" is all juju fruited now.
There's a BETTER, more intuitive calendar
There's an EASIER, more intuitive mathematics
Leading our 9-to-5 lifestyles, so far from the farm and the Way of the Almanac, time is a confusing thing. All that matters is the weekend, so the best day of the week is Friday. And Freyja needs to be honored, fearfully for the few times Friday and 13 fall on the same day.

Elves, Ghosts (spirits of the departed), Sea Monsters, Extraterrestrials (fairies, devas, the hidden folk or huldufolk) in Iceland: Investigation into the Invisible World
Our "mythologies" are real, more real than our ordinary corporate state nonsense. But we have been taught the opposite. Only the state is real; everything else is a big fairytale.
There are unknown lands (terra incognita) on earth right next to known lands -- lands, that is, we are told about.
And in these lands, to this day, there are "giants" and others, ogres, hidden people (huldufolk), unseen beings, spirits, shapeshifters.
They need not be scary. They walk around us. It is nothing new. Poets, seers, literary folk have been writing about them for millennia. What a shock that they were talking about something real, which we had been convinced was just "childish" nonsense to outgrow.
Fairies (bhumi-devas) and ogres are real? (Beauty and the Beast by Anne Anderson)
My ears? What about them? We have remained hidden for good reason. Children see us.

Lost Race of the Giants: The Mystery of Their Culture, Influence, and Decline Throughout the World
Lost Race of the Giants (Patrick Chouinard)
This is an exploration of mythological and archaeological evidence for prehistoric giants. As such it:
examines the many corresponding giant mythologies throughout the world, such as the Greek and Roman titans, Norse frost giants, and the biblical Nephilim
reveals recent finds of giant skeletons in the deserts of Saudi Arabia and India
explains how giants passed on their sophisticated culture and civilization to humanity before being wiped out in the great age of cataclysms and floods.
Giants are a cornerstone of the myths, legends, and traditions of almost every culture on Earth.
Stories of giants are often considered fantasies of the ancients or primitive attempts to explain natural phenomena.
The Annunaki, the "gods from above" - Mesopotamian cylinder seal (Walters/wiki)
But archaeological discoveries of 10- and 12-foot skeletons -- many of which have been suppressed [particularly by the consortium that calls itself the Smithsonian] -- confirm the existence of a forgotten golden age of giants before recorded history.
Author Patrick Chouinard examines the staggering number of corresponding giant mythologies throughout the world, such as the:
Annunaki: four copper-alloy foundation figures dating to circa 2130 BCE, depicting four ancient Mesopotamian gods, wearing characteristic horned crowns (wiki).
and the multitude of myths in which our sky or world is held aloft on the shoulders of a giant.
Chouinard links these stories to Atlantis as well as other legends of prehistoric civilizations lost to cataclysm and great floods, whose survivors spawned the rise of ancient civilizations.
The author reveals how physical remains of giant-size peoples have been found on almost every continent.
Included are recent finds in the deserts of Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and northern India as well as hundreds of excavations of giant mummies and skeletons across the United States, corresponding directly with Native American accounts of red-haired giants.
He also examines reports from famous explorers such as Magellan, Sir Francis Drake, and Desoto of their encounters with giants on the North American continent.
Revealing how giants represent the true earth-born race, Chouinard explains how they engaged in open conflict with the extraterrestrial gods, who created humanity for forced labor, and how they passed their sophisticated culture and civilization on to humanity before being nearly wiped out in the great age of cataclysms.
