(Stone & Bone) Ötzi, "the Iceman," was a stranger in a strange land, murdered by others and left to freeze in the snow and become a mummy, not a typical European of the time as previously assumed. The Iceman is the natural mummy of a man who lived between 3350 and 3105 BC. Ötzi's remains were discovered on September 19, 1991, in the Ötztal Alps (hence the nickname "Ötzi," German œtsi) at the Austria–Italy border (Tyrol state). He is Europe's oldest known natural human mummy, offering an unprecedented view of Chalcolithic (Copper Age) Europeans -- or, at least, that's what scientists assumed until they tested his DNA and that of others from the area. [It seems "Europeans" are part space beings, hybrids, but Otzi seems to have preceded that infusion of alien DNA.] More
One of the hatchlings (chicks, babies, fledglings, carnivorous raptors) is missing in the snow. The storms pounding Los Angeles with hail, graupel, and freezing rain is dumping snow high atop Big Bear Lake. And at least 50 feet above that sits Eagle Jackie and her mate Shadow, the couple pampering their newborns with slaughtered trout, crow, duck, and warm vomit. Ah, Nature.
One baby, two babies, where's the third eaglet?!
But tragedy has struck. Not only was the runt late and being constantly bonked by Brutus, the big one, to establish the nest's pecking order, now one of the three is feared gone, either cannibalized or thrown from the nest for hygiene among the corpses and mortal remains of the prey littering the well-arranged sticks.
Seven thousand feathers keep Jackie warm, sitting on her brood or clutch or nursery. Maybe a park ranger should climb the tree and shove the mother off her young so we can count them and feel better about our nosy curiosity about the mysterious ways of Nature and its blood smeared beaks and talons. Is it any wonder the dragons(nagas, reptilians) fear the garudas (suparnas, avians)
There's been progress. A pip has been detected, a quickening that inspires the other chicks in their embryonic shells to get with the pecking and break out. Although it is 18 degrees up at Big Bear Lake above LA, the eggs are warm by the vigilance of the parents, Jackie and Shadow, and everything looks good for the birth of three baby bald eagles. It makes one proud to be a Native American and watch respect for nature rub off on the cam jamming Lone Ranger man filming the birds in their element.
[Shoot them, kill the eagles before they harm the trout in the lake where human fishermen want to kill, cut, and eat them!!! It's nearing Lent when Americans pay for more fish to be killed for our insatiable hunger for blood and flesh, like ghouls or something. Terrestrial human hunters over amoral avian eagles! Or might Nature have its own ideas about balance, ecosystems, and lifecycles? *Irony*]
We are starting Pip Watch on March 1st, when Egg1 is 38 days old, looking for the first signs of hatching (the first little hole being called a pip).
We may notice subtle changes in Jackie and Shadow’s behavior, such as becoming more attentive to the eggs.
Since Jackie is practicing delayed incubation, we may not see anything yet but will keep our eyes glued to all three eggs, [except for the runt. Who cares about him? Have you seen the price of a dozen of these? Make my murder morning mash of fowl fetuses too expensive to fry!]
The initial pip usually looks like a small bump, often shaped like a star, and is only visible when the camera is zoomed in. The eggs may have some dirt smudges or fluff stuck on them, which are not to be mistaken for pips.
[Hey, is Zelenskyy going to start WW III after disrespecting VP Vance and not kissing PP Trump's ring? Sure glad we have this Eagle Cam set up so we don't have to think about how we have been funding Ukraine's killing of Russians and getting them killed for Europe. What are the CIA and Pentagon thinking?]
The Connected Discourses on Phoenixes [3] or Avians, Garudas, Suparnas, Harpies, Birdpeople provides basic accounts on the nature of the garuḍas, who are avian deities in Buddhist cosmology and mythology. In these texts, the Buddha describes these beings with regard to their mode of rebirth, hierarchy, as well as the reasons a person may be reborn among them.
If one notices any suspicious spot, please make a note and keep an eye on it. If it were a pip, in a few hours, it would grow into a larger, more obvious pip site.
BEWARE OF PWI: "Pip watch itch" manifests as an urgent need to study all egg rolls frame-by-frame and pronounce every dirt speck or fluff a pip. It is highly transmissible, occurs seasonally, and has no known cure. Not to be confused with "presidential war incitement" Q.E.D.
OVARIAN FACTS: 🥚 Egg1 laid 1/22 17:05, Egg2 laid 1/25 16:44, Egg3 laid 1/28 17:43
Pip Watch begins on 3/1. Historically, at this snowy mountaintop location high above Los Angeles and the OC in Southern California, eggs hatch at ~38-39 days. With three eggs it could take a few days longer.
🐣 HATCHING is a long process that may take a few days: bit.ly/3UVVy8D. [So don't even think of driving up and trying to help the chick be born. Breaking out is part of Nature's process of strengthening its survival chances. The mother isn't picking off the shell, so why would a meddling human hand help?]
DAD: ℹResident Bald Eagle male: Shadow (unbanded) since May 2018. Estimated hatch year: 2014.
MOM: ℹResident Bald Eagle female: Jackie (unbanded) since September 2016. Estimated hatch year: 2012. [So even on the animal plane, guys go for younger chicks?]

Fly Agaric and its ties with Christmas | Amanita Muscaria Mushroom
How can we spread Western culture/Xmas cheer?
(Danni in the Wild) Dec. 19, 2023: Did our much-loved Christmas celebrations derive from a psychedelic trip brought on by the Amanita muscaria mushroom?
Where did the idea of "Father Christmas" come from? Do reindeer really learn to "fly" by eating magic mushrooms that get them high? Why does Santa Claus come down the chimney of all places? And are "machine elves" real?
Join me, Danni in the Wild, as I explore the parallels between traditional shamanic winter solstice celebrations from the Arctic communities of the Kamchadals and Koryaks of Siberia, and the traditional Christmas celebrations we practice today in Europe and the Americas. (Feliz Navidad, Latin America! We strongly advise people not to trip without a competent minder and sitter, like a shaman).

Foraging Wild Foods and Medicinal Mushrooms October | UK
These red-and-white gifts just popped up under the tree overnight. I wonder what's in them.
.
(Danni in the Wild) Oct. 26, 2023: Join me, Danni in the Wild, for a late fall forage in a local woodland pasture. It is a beautiful day, and there are lots of wild edible berries, plants, and fungi to find -- some of the mushrooms being medicinal, too! Please see notes on species below before mushroom hunting.
Acorns (oak seeds) contain high amounts of tannins which can cause stomachaches, so they must first be prepared (soaked, washed, rewashed, and rinsed over and over) before consuming or ground into flour;
Rosehips (future rosebuds) contain itchy hairs that should be removed before consumption;
Golden spindles are nontoxic but not usually recommended for consumption due to their tough texture and bitter flavor;
Amanita muscaria (Fly agaric) contains psychoactiveibotenic acid and the hallucinogen muscimol, so failure to prepare it properly for its intended use may result in freaking out, vomiting, dizziness, vertigo, anxiety, and lots of other unpleasant feelings!
WARNING: Remember never to eat any wild food -- be it plant, fruit, or fungi -- unless you are 100% certain of its identity. Always cross check resources to be 200% sure. Always do research before taking herbs internally, especially if pregnant, have severe allergies, or have a weakened immune system.
PLEASE: Remember to take only what is needed from places of abundance (and never more than 10% of any plant) so as to always leave plenty for the other wildlife.

My most brutal wingsuit flight ever | Täschhorn (4491 meters)
(Swiss JoHannes | Wingsuit) After years of dreaming, we finally did the highest possible wingsuit base jump in the Alps, from the top of Täschhorn, Switzerland.
Big hug to Mario for joining me on this mission. I couldn't have done it without him. Thanks, Bro! In total, we climbed for about 9 hours and spent one night at the Mischabeljoch bivouac. It was challenging leaving nothing behind and flying down with all of our equipment.
On the top we have to scramble five pitches to the exit point, belayed gear up. I jumped around 10:30 am during perfect conditions, without thermals (rising heat columns).
But after 40 seconds of flying, my arms were really tired, so I couldn't hold the glide and had to fly more steeply. Unfortunately, it is not getting much better. It is becoming a serious problem as I can hardly feel my fingers holding on.
Now if I could just learn to "fly" on land
Antonia was waiting at the LZ with a cold one. Mario and I landed safely. I don't know what happened to my weak arms... Was it the altitude or the heavy bag? I was exhausted AF and glad we got down safely. What a mission, what a mountain! Source
May gray has given way to June gloom in the City of Lost Angels. It's been a stint of Seattle/London weather, misty, foggy, drizzly, and a bit on the cool side. The mushrooms must love it, the tourists not so much. SoCal is famous for its sun, sand, and suffering. But the sun has become undependable. Recently, the massive snows have left the hills with more moisture than usual. Most of that has melted away. But there's a giant forest behind the smoggy County of LA, as most maps show. All that green space is mostly chaparral covered mountains with rocky soil only the dwindling population of bighorn sheep and rugged hikers love. When one gets to the top of the highway, there's a gate that never opens. What's behind it? Let's find out.
Exploring California's Highway 39, closed for over 40 years
(Sidetrack Adventures) May 31, 2023. California State Route 39 heads into the mountains of the Angeles National Forest above the megalopolis of Los Angeles, north of the little City of Azusa. It has been called California's "Forbidden Highway" or "Forgotten Highway."
The last four and a half miles of it have been closed since 1978, preventing it from connecting with State Route 2. Because of the closure and dead end, the road sees very little traffic, despite being only miles from the second largest city in the United States.
This video shows a drive up the forest highway through the Angeles National Forest, which is the same road used in the Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. Let's check out what there is to see along the way.
Then let's explore the section of road that has been closed for over 40 years, a road that was once considered one of the most scenic in California.
(Yes Theory) This idea originated from Yes Theory's friend Lexie Alford (@LexieLimitless), the youngest person to travel to every country, who also joined us on this trip.
Her travel adventure videos are incredible, and we highly recommend checking out her channel (youtube.com/c/LexieLimitless). This was definitely one of the strangest experiences we’ve ever had.
Traveling to the Damanhur community (Federation of Damanhur) in Italy and being allowed to come document their world was a confusing and fascinating experience, leaving us with more questions than answers.

Christians in Europe celebrate child tormentor Krampus. Is this their Devil working with Santa?
Hey, pretty boy, did you behave? Obey me!
Northern Europeans are a cold people, unlike the Natives of the Americas. It might have something to do with the weather they endure. That's our guess. Go to the hot countries today and see how warm the people tend to be -- not in every case but as a cultural characteristic. Go north, and watch out, cold blooded/unemotional. Look at the Russians. They know how to kick butt. Must've learned it from their neighbors, the Germans. And the Germans, that's us, inheritors of the NAZI war machine and its criminal masterminds, like those rocket, missile, and nuclear bomb makers we so patriotically claim as our own. Look how we train Boy Scouts, a kind of American Hitler Youth, Nazi kids in form and function, if not racially, molested just like in Catholic/Lutheran Germany. But who pays attention? How did treating kids so badly begin? Western culture, particularly in the cold places, seems to have a lot to do with traumatizing children. Look at the European "Christmas" tradition of Krampus:
Who's Christmas Krampus?
We agree. We hate kids and ruin them.
Krampus is a devilish, horned figure in the Central and Eastern Alpine folklore of Europe who, during the Advent season, scares [the hell out of] children who have been naughty and misbehaved (as all children do). Assisting Christian Saint Nicholas, a.k.a. Coca Cola Corporation's red-robed "Santa Claus," the pair (Krampus and Santa/Satan) visit children one night a year in December.
(King Diamond) In Mercyful Fate style, the Danish originator [Satanist rockstar Kim Bendix Petersen] goes solo for the Xmas anti-classic "No Presents for Christmas." Guess not everyone in Europe enjoys the national holiday.
Catholic Saint Nicholas rewards obedient ("well-behaved") children with modest gifts such as oranges, dried fruit, walnuts, and chocolate, while the disobedient ones are punished by demonic Krampus with birch rod beatings [1] that are sure to make them neurotic and possibly sociopathic in the long run.
The origin of the Yuletide Krampus figure is unclear; some folklorists and anthropologists have postulated it as having pre-Christian/pagan origins [2].
In traditional parades and in such events as the Krampuslauf (English "Krampus run"), young men participate dressed as Krampus and attempt to scare the audience with their boisterous and violent antics [3]. Such events occur annually in most Alpine towns [4].
Krampus is featured on holiday greeting cards called Krampuskarten.
The figure has been imported into American popular culture and has appeared in movies, TV, and video games. More

Raramuri/Tarahumara Native American Mexican women with baby, Lake Arareco
(Dan Bocchino) Exploring Endurance Running: The Tarahumara Tribe. National History doc
The Tarahumara: Hidden Tribe of Super-athletes Born to Run
Nestled in NW Mexico in the canyons of the Sierra Madre Occidental mountain range (full of pine forests) is a small tribe of indigenous Native American people known as the Tarahumara.
They call themselves the Rarámuri, which loosely translates as "running people," "foot-runner," "swift of foot," or "one who walks well."
Traditional Raramuri male dress
They are known for evading the Spanish colonial Conquistadors in the 16th century and keeping their Copper Canyon cave-dwelling culture alive and secluded.
They are more famous for their long-distance running and their superior health. They are free of the common health problems of "progress" in modern societies. A National Geographic study (November 2008) states:
"When it comes to the Top 10 health risks facing American men, the Tarahumara are practically immortal: Their incidence rate is at or near zero in just about every category, including diabetes, vascular disease, and colorectal cancer...
"Plus, their supernatural invulnerability isn't just limited to their bodies; the Tarahumara have mastered the secret of happiness as well, living as benignly as bodhisattvas in a world free of theft, murder, suicide, and cruelty."
So what is the Tarahumara story, and what can we learn from them? How can we use their Native American history as an example for our own primal living?
For some they may not be an example of what is considered "primal," but rather they are one of the most evolved we can find in the world today. More: liveprimal.com/2009/07/tarahumara...
Krampuses are horned, anthropomorphic folkloric figure, "half-goat, half-demon," who during the Catholic Christmas season punish children who have misbehaved, in contrast to Saint Nick, who rewards the well-behaved with little gifts.
Krampuses are companions of Saint Nicholas in regions including Austria, Bavaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, and Northern Italy along with Black Pete.

Molesting children as a social norm in U.S. (Monarch or Auschwitz II?) From very early childhood, Paul Bonacci was subjected to tortures
as profound as any the Nazis inflicted. This is not
merely a comparison but an actual continuation. From sexual degradation to witnessing and forced participation
in Satanic cult murders, Bonacci suffered the cracking of his mind and "multiple personality disorder." Tens of
thousands of American children have been diagnosed MPDs; virtually all
of them are thought to have resulted from sexual abuse, of which perhaps
85 percent were cases of Satanic ritual abuse.
