Lost tribe of Jews found in NE India?
![]() |
| Have you kept Jewish custom of Molech? |
The warlike Bnei Menashe (Hebrew בני מנשה or "Children of Menasseh" known as the Shinlung in India [5]) is a community of Indian Jews from various Tibeto-Burmese [6] ethnic groups from the border of India, Bangladesh, and Burma (Myanmar) who claim descent from one of the Lost Tribes of Israel [7][5]: 3 , allegedly based on the Hmar belief in an ancestor named Manmasi [8]. Some of them have adopted Judaism [5] [though most seem to have been converted to Christianity by Western missionaries before realizing they were "Jews," though they have not been easily accepted by white supremacist Ashkenazi-dominated Israeli society even if officials offered them expedited conversion]. The community has around 10,000 members [1]. More

The Anglican Communion is active in 160 countries, Church of England
(Bad Religion) Neighbors..."The Voice of God is Government"
It is the first time in nearly 500 years of history that the Church nominated a woman to lead it.
The Church had been without someone in the top job for almost a year, after Justin Welby resigned over his failure to report a prolific child abuser.

Burning Man Days 5-6: Burn vs. Rain
More chaos at Burning Man! Torrential rains turn Playa [saline salt basin of ancient inland sea] into [alkaline clay dust sludge] mud pit - 70,000 stranded
Heavy rains turned the Nevada playa ("beach") into a seven-mile-wide mud pit, swallowing bikes, stranding vehicles, and forcing everyone to walk and gates to close once again.
One man was airlifted after a suspected electrocution in the flooded desert [from electrical equipment getting wet and people going barefoot], while thousands more struggled through the bone-chilling nights, abandoned bicycles, and mud-soaked shelters.
With all passenger flights grounded, cars stuck axle-deep, and festivalgoers posting desperate updates, Burning Man 2025 is being called one of the most miserable editions in its history.
[This is not an error or accident by Nature, just part of the experience that is part and parcel of Burning Man, flowing with the elements come what may.]

How nomads raise white children
![]() |
| Native Sami family from Norway, 1936 |
Where's their babysitter, the television? How are they supposed to wean their kids without a TV?
It's almost certain Piaget, the famed developmental psychologist, would not approve. What if they grow up with a complex about reindeers or yellow snow or something? It's too risky. Bring them indoors and tie them to an apron string and yell at them until they're neurotic just like the parents.

| White "Indians" living in tipis in Scandinavia |
It's eerie and seemingly inexplicable the way people far afield can look so much alike in their traditions and style. In Buddhist Ladakh, in the Indian Himalayas next to Tibet, there are black and white photos of American Indians. Why they're there, no one can say. But looked at more closely -- beyond the long straight black hair, sun kissed skin, silver and turquoise jewelry, hairless faces, horses, colorful cotton cloth with geometric patterns and unique designs, one is startled to realize they are not Native Americans at all. They are traditional Tibetans (Ladakhis, too), who are cowboys sporting cowboy hats who roam with the buffalo (bison) on the Tibetan plateau.

Commune Life: suburban Day of the D
Usually at this time of year, it's all permaculture (time-honored permanent agricultural practices) at The Commune.
Flower and incense burning in the air, folks congregating in gentle circles, hippies coming out of unhoned woodwork in one big flock, it's usually a murder of bleary-eyed magpies.
But this is a good weekend. Caroline is away, traveling. Tara long since left to find and/or make something of herself. And it's just Julia and Alan holding down the hillside for a Day of the Dead celebration.
The Dia de los Muertos altar was set up for ofrendas, honoring founding artist Zorthian (the namesake patriarch of Zorthian Ranch), lost ones, and anyone in the universe someone remembered and cared enough to commemorate

We all enjoyed cocoa, caffeine-free coffee, green tea, and a kids crafts table under the black walnut (Juglans nigra) tree, once widespread on hillsides facing the rising sun in LA, hosting many native birds.
It was a two-day event, Nov. 1 and 2, from 3:00-8:00 pm. Be in touch for the next event. Maybe another Permaculture Convergence is in the planning, or it's on to the next thing: Electro Culture for super growth.
Legacy of the Zorthian Ranch
For over 70 years, the Zorthian Ranch has existed as a haven for artists and intellectuals, a community and arts center, and a natural respite from the big city below.
It has also been used as a movie location for over 20 years, with many popular TV shows, movies, and music videos (particularly Westerns) filming on site.
Looking for a unique and versatile location for a project? Let Z Ranch know about location needs, and Julia Z will be in touch. More

Tiny Home Buddhist Commune, Los Angeles
Ananda (Dharma Buddhist Meditation), Dhr. Seven, Jen Bradford, Imogen, Wisdom Quarterly
If we pull in the modules, scattered in the woods around a central meeting house for meals and group meditations, what could be better? Visit Wat Metta near San Diego to see a great setup utterly bereft of a good teacher to lead it.
If the caves of Europe do not work out, it may be best to lease land along the river above Los Angeles. A group of Buddhists already tried it, but disuse, neglect, and teenage vandalism brought it to ruin. It is right next to the ranger station and parking lot at the entrance to the Azusa route to Crystal Lake. It is below the dam, which could give way at any moment. So that's a consideration.
We were driving in search of the massive new Hindu temple complex or ashram in Chino, California, just east of Los Angeles County.
It might cost lots of money to fulfill the dream, and we're reminded of how one Indian guru, possibly Sri Ravi Shankar or some such, handled that. Asked by his disciples, "But, Guru, where are we going to get the money to build an ashram?"

We turned right instead of left and found a massive Thai Theravada Buddhist temple with a giant stupa that the city was disallowing as a structure. There were food booths for a festival or alms round for many monks set up. But the strangest thing was in the back, there was a small shack dedicated to local Native Americans dispossessed of the region. Why? Buddhists care.
They care more than the locals who took the unceded land and turned it into tract housing and a real estate boom.
We tried to ask the abbot about it, but he didn't understand our questions. We were in awe that it was there. He thought we thought it was odd. We haven't been able to find the place since. It's up a hill on a big street not far from the 60 Freeway. Since few people seem to know about the other giant Thai temple near La Puente, just off of Valley Blvd., it's no surprise. Wat Metta is also Thai Theravada.
If we build an actual abbey or vihara (temple complex) it will either be Burmese Theravada or Afghan-American Early Buddhism, the first in the country. Why? A few Burmese have rediscovered the historical Buddha's teaching and can teach it. Moreover, the Buddha was from Gandhara (not beautiful Nepal), modern Bamiyan, Kabul (Kapilavastu), and Mes Aynak Afghanistan, and the oldest Buddhist writings are from there, which is mind-blowing.
The Gandhāran Buddhist texts are the oldest Buddhist manuscripts yet discovered, dating from about the 1st century BCE to 3rd century CE, having been found in the northwestern outskirts of the Indian subcontinent [1, 2, 3]. They represent the literature of Gandharan Buddhism from present-day northwestern Pakistan and eastern Afghanistan (ancient Gandhara) and are written in Gāndhārī. They were sold to European and Japanese institutions and individuals and are currently being recovered and studied by several universities.

Israel is "more Nazi than the Nazis"
Fiona Parker, The Telegraph, 12/2/23; Sheldon S., Ashley Wells (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
A senior charity consultant claimed Israel is “more Nazi than even the [German] Nazis” and shared a message on social media suggesting that atrocities committed by Hamas on Oct. 7 were an "inside job" carried out by the Israelis.

| Tariq Shaekh asked, ‘When will the world wake up?’ in his online post (The Telegraph). |
.
Tariq Shaekh, who is director of his own limited company offering “fundraising, marketing, and charity strategy services for the growing UK third sector,” according to his LinkedIn profile, was previously chief executive officer of Human Aid & Advocacy for 20 months.
Mr. Shaekh recently posted a video in which an Israeli TV presenter appeared to threaten citizens in several Arab countries with the caption: “When will the world wake up to the fact that Isrea! [sic] is more Nazi than even the Nazis were.”
On Nov. 19, he shared on social media a post by another user who wrote:
“If you truly believe one of the most powerful militaries in the world [the IDF], with nuclear weapons, who is the hub for surveillance technology didn’t know where Ham*s [sic] was on Oct. 7, (were able to break through a concentration camp) and their military did not respond for more than 6 hours was by accident, but now as they are bombing civilians they all of a sudden know where they are, I am sorry you are an ignorant fool.
“And your foolishness is enabling geno*ide [sic].
“All of these wars were pre-planned. I’ve been speaking about how they want to ethnically cleanse the region and expand their state for years using their own statements and sources.”
Al Qassam Brigades fighter dares to ride a motorcycle onto land stolen by Israel to set up a kibbutz for the purpose of occupying, dispossessing, and dislocating Palestine
Charlotte Littlewood, an extremism expert at the International Centre for Sustainability, said:
“Suggestions of an ‘inside job’ and painting Israel as more Nazi than the Nazis are a standard part of narrative warfare employed since 9/11 that acts to paint the victim as the aggressor.
- [Because as we all know, Israel is no aggressor, just a peaceful country with a massive military that wants to spend all its money on becoming the Singapore of the Middle East on their tiny piece of land which they're more than happy with, showing peace and love to all their neighbors and not abusing anyone, nor threatening any neighboring country, nor insulting and attempting to dominate the region in the name of settler colonialism for the West].

CIA TV: Freedom fighters enter Israel (CNN)
CNN, 11/15/23; Pfc. Sandoval, Sheldon S., Ashley Wells (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
WARNING: Congress, with Sen. Bernie Sanders, Sen. Mullin challenges Mr. O'Brien to a fist fight!
WARNING: Meanwhile, professional entertainers Klay Thompson got a ripped jersey in Warriors vs. Timberwolves altercation on ESPN, Nov. 14, 2023, after which he and Jaden McDaniels were ejected for getting into a fight on the court, and Draymond Green got ejected for putting Rudy Gobert in a headlock. Why? Because Americans come from a violent society that teaches violence to our colonies even if they get us cheap oil in exchange for us looking the other way when they steal land from native inhabitants they've dehumanized and convinced themselves the people they're displacing are not a "people" as we back them with military hardware and protection in the international court set up to prevent such human rights abuses.
WARNING: Heavily edited, carefully selected IDF material, aka war porn, for self-declared victims
Hamas militant's bodycam shows how offensive campaign on Israel began
- Where is the evidence that the IDF promised showing Al-Shifa Hospital was a large underground city and Hamas Headquarters, full of tunnels, below "human shields," serving as a missile launch base where errant missiles sometimes fell back and made the IDF look bad as if the IDF were war criminal bombing hospitals in violation of Geneva conventions on war crimes while blaming a guerrilla effort of poorly armed, poorly funded "martyrs" in rag tag militias (brigades) resisting occupation and oppression? It was promised, and what was delivered was pathetic. Since there had better be more to present to the international community, are they hard at work now manufacturing it only to have it debunked later on like the fabricated "conversation" between militants that proved it was Hamas who bombed Al-Shifa?
- Tunnels? The Israeli architects of Al-Shifa Hospital (in Palestine) also designed and built a large array of underground infrastructure, which the IDF later pointed to as part of the underground Hamas command in 2014 and in the 2023 "Israel-Hamas war" [21, 10, 8, 22]. In particular, in 1983, the Israelis built "a secure underground operating room and tunnel network" beneath Building 2 of the hospital [24] (Wiki, retrieved 11/15/23). More

.
This short video is being released to incite Jews around the world and sympathizers that Oct. 7th was a "terrorist" attack that took place for no reason, no reason at all, other than that the political party Hamas (funded and promoted by Israeli PM Netanyahu) just want to kill all Jews for no reason, all the time, because it is/was in their official written charter, wherever they find Jews because, actually, they want to be killed by the IDF that is doing them a favor so they can die as martyrs to go to heaven and NOT because they have any legitimate grievance against the IDF or settler colonial state of Israel that displaced, humiliated, and harmed them.

Cody's Halloween: Vegan Potluck (10/28)
Ananda (Dharma Buddhist Meditation), Jen Bradshaw, Wisdom Quarterly
It's time to come together to socialize, celebrate the harvest and a few birthdays, enjoy vegan potluck food, live music (with Stella on harmonium leading some sacred yoga chants), shares, and a free movie.
![]() |
| Forget kids. It's a time for adults to party in costume with wild abandon to have fun. |
REVIEW: We came, we saw, we had a party, full of music and poetry, chants and acoustic guitars, then an amazing movie late into the night: Summer of Soul, the Black "Woodstock" that was the Harlem Street Festival. There was such friendliness, such good vibes, and a horn of vegan food, mostly Mexican nachos, savory jackfruit with guacamole, a mango salad, chocolate crust vegan cream cheese pie, and Cody's rocket juice, a mix of citrus fruit juices on ice sprinkled with mint leaves. There were plenty of snacks, an entree, Cosmic vegan ice cream (cookie dough and chocolate chip)... And Stella was wearing her "Ahimsa" cow shirt and vegan boots with yoga pants as she went into b*ttstand asana, sitting around socializing. There were many good feelings, good eats, and heart-to-heart conversations. Next, look out for our big end of year gift exchange and 108 Sun Salutation New Year's Day events.
High above Los Angeles, up Lake Avenue and the 134 Freeway in Pasadena, there's a place lost in time. It's the home of the Cosmic Breezeway, homemade vegan delicacies, as well as sturdy soups and sweet desserts.
Cody is finding a way to express gratitude and community, near the Commune (Zorthian Ranch) after the L.A. Permaculture Convergence and soon after the big Rhythms of the Village Harvest Fest, So it's time to party.
