(Swiss JoHannes | Wingsuit) After years of dreaming, we finally did the highest possible wingsuit base jump in the Alps, from the top of Täschhorn, Switzerland.

Big hug to Mario for joining me on this mission. I couldn't have done it without him. Thanks, Bro! In total, we climbed for about 9 hours and spent one night at the Mischabeljoch bivouac. It was challenging leaving nothing behind and flying down with all of our equipment.

On the top we have to scramble five pitches to the exit point, belayed gear up. I jumped around 10:30 am during perfect conditions, without thermals (rising heat columns).

But after 40 seconds of flying, my arms were really tired, so I couldn't hold the glide and had to fly more steeply. Unfortunately, it is not getting much better. It is becoming a serious problem as I can hardly feel my fingers holding on.

Now if I could just learn to "fly" on land

A shocking new documentary recently showcased how 11-year-old girls in the Amish community were given "incest guides" and told it was their fault if they got raped.

Sins of the Amish uncovered the decades-long sexual and physical abuse of young girls living in the religious community.

The Amish are a tight-knit and secretive group, and they don’t like to deal with authorities, so it’s almost impossible to know what’s really going on inside.

But Emma Gingerich previously revealed the Amish community hide "a lot of bad things" - including incest and criminal behavior.

She said they simply "sweep it under the rug" after the culprits are forced to confess their sins at church.

Emma told The Sun Online: "I know the Amish drink; there is a drinking problem; some of them make their own wine or moonshine.

"There's a lot of sexual abuse -- which you wouldn't see from the outside. It's been going on for a very long time.

"It's a problem for children and women. Kids are sexually abused. For a long time, nobody did anything about it.

"If it does happen in the Amish community, they hide it so well.

"But now [that] there are more people leaving, they are starting to speak out, and they are starting to get law enforcement involved. There's more awareness now. 

"I didn't experience it from what I can remember. I didn't know anybody had experienced it until after I left: A lot of women have come forward to me about it after they left.

"They lived in the same place as me. I was wondering, 'How could I not notice?' But they hide it so well." More

"Amish Mafia" depicts the work carried out by Levi and three of his young Amish assistants, namely keeping outside forces from infiltrating the Amish community, while keeping the principles and morality within the community in check. The Amish church, according to Discovery, denies the existence of this unique "police" force, so the network says some identifying information in the series has been changed and some scenes re-enacted.

A woman who manages an escort service based in the Swiss town of Aargau, which is located some 100 miles from Davos, told 20 Minuten that she received 11 bookings and 25 inquiries — and that was just the beginning.

How old is this fight?

(BBC) Nuclear-armed neighbors India (former Bharat) and Pakistan (former India) have fought two wars and a limited armed conflict over Kashmir. Why do they dispute the territory, and how did it start?

Kashmir is an ethnically-diverse Himalayan region, covering around 86,000 square miles (138 sq km), famed for the beauty of its Switzerland lakes, meadows, and high snow-capped mountains.

Even before India and Pakistan won their independence from Britain in August of 1947, the area was hotly contested.

Under the Partition plan provided by the Indian Independence Act, Kashmir was free to go with or "accede" to either India or Pakistan.

The Maha-raja (great local ruler) Hari Singh initially wanted Kashmir to become independent. But in October 1947 he chose to join India. In return he got India's help against an invasion of tribesmen from Pakistan. More

The Gotthard Base Tunnel (GBT) is a railway tunnel in the heart of the Swiss Alps expected to open in 2016.

With a route length of 57 km (35.4 mi) and a total of 151.84 km (94.3 mi) of tunnels, shafts, and passages, it surpasses the Seikan Tunnel in Japan [but pales in comparison to the much longer secret high speed rail tunnels under the US].

The project has two single-track tunnels as part of the AlpTransit project, aka the New Railway Link through the Alps (NRLA), which includes the Lötschberg Base Tunnel between Bern and Valais and the Ceneri Base Tunnel (scheduled to open in 2019).

It bypasses the Gotthardbahn, a winding mountain route opened in 1882 across the Saint-Gotthard Massif. The total cost of the project is 9.8 billion Swiss francs (US $10.3 billion).

Meier says that contacts resumed again after years (beginning on January 28, 1975) with an extraterrestrial female named Semjase (Portraits der Kontaktpersonen, FIGU Switzerland, Schmidrüti, Switzerland: FIGU), the granddaughter of Sfath. Meier says that he has also had many contacts with another Plejaren (Pleiadian?) man called Ptaah, starting in 1975 and continuing up to the present day.
