Playboy patriarch Hugh Hefner on hot seat

Hugh Hefner in 1978 with 'playmate' beauties
*Sarcasm* Who does this patriarchal, sexist, misogynist, capitalist, female-exploiting, dominating, degrading male chauvinist p*g Hefner think he is making sense and being well-spoken?

Bark like a d*g, you S.O.B! How dare come on The Dick Cavett Show prepared with that smug confidence of knowing all the right things to say and actually making a few good points when we all know what you've done! Dick, are you going to let him answer like that?!

You've set women back centuries, not to mention the poor girls and ladies of the world to everyone exposed to your smut gateway magazine that opened the floodgates to an avalanche of pornographies and filth. Filth, I say!

Wives or "playmates," Hef? - Wives. - Oh nice!
You should be, you should be...well, I don't what you should be! Who am I to should all over you? You're as much a symptom as a cause of our moral decay. Only a Republican pedophile like Mr. Trump could restore us and Make America Great Again for the first time after that Democrat pedo Mr. Biden nearly ruined this nation!

Look, Daddy, I am the Walrus. - What the H? I told you to behave when we're in public!

Eight added rules for nuns are untrue

Ayya Tathālokā: Venerable Bhikkhunī Tathālokā Mahātherī is an American-born Theravada Buddhist nun (bhikkhunī), scholar, and teacher.

She is the co-founder of the Dhammadharini monastic community in California, which includes Dhammadharini Monastery [Nunnery, Abbey, Hermitage] (formerly Dhammadharini Vihara), and Aranya Bodhi Hermitage [1].

She was the recipient of the 2006 Outstanding Women in Buddhism Award, a presenting scholar at the 2007 International Congress on Buddhist Women's Role in the Sangha, and was appointed preceptor for the historically-significant 2009 Bhikkhuni Ordination held in Perth, Australia [2, 3].

Early life
Born Heather Buske in Washington, D.C., in 1968, Ven. Tathālokā’s parents encouraged her to develop the skills necessary to look for what is true. She had early exposure to the texts of the Pali canon and was inspired by reading about the bhikkhunīs at the time of the historical Buddha. At the age of 19, she left college to pursue monastic life in Europe then in India... More:

Int'l Day of Women and Girls in Science

.
Beauty-and-brains combine: Latina genius
The International Day of Women and Girls in Science is an annual observance adopted by the United Nations General Assembly to promote equal participation of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields [1].
  • Did the world forget all the female greats in herstory (his-story)? There was Kwan Yin (Buddhist Goddess of Compassion); Scheherazade; Asherah (the Jews' God's wife); Ven. Khema and Ven. Uppalavanna (the Buddha's chief female disciples); the world's first Buddhist nun (the Buddha's mother Maha Pajapati); Prince Siddhartha's wife -- who became an enlightened Buddhist nun and the top debater in the land -- found hidden all over ancient Buddhist texts by many and varied names: Rahulamata (Rāhula's mother), Bhaddakaccā (Lucky One), Yasodharā (Graceful), Bimbā Devī (Princess Bimba), Bimbā-sundarī (Bimba the Beautiful), Bhadda-kaccānā (Lucky Kaccana), Subhaddakā; though Mahayana Buddhist texts favor the epithet "Yasodharā" the daughter of Dandapānī, she was born Bimbā, and names like Yosadhāri were descriptive epithets applied to her, which later became regarded as names. It is also possible that in Gautama's court there was a Yasodharā, daughter of Dandapānī, and that there later came to be a confusion of names (Dictionary of Pali Proper Names).

What did we lose by losing our Goddess?
The U.N. General Assembly passed the resolution in 2015 [2], which proclaimed February 11th as the commemoration of the observance [3].

A theme is selected annually as a focus point for gender equality [or parity] in science [4].

The International Day of Women and Girls in Science is implemented annually at the U.N. Headquarters by the Royal Academy of Science International Trust in partnership with UNESCO and UN Women to promote the role of women and girls in scientific fields and celebrate those who have been successful in the field [5]. The smartest woman in (literary) history?

Sultan and Scheherazade (1001 Nights)
She
her
azade (mnemonic "She Her a Sadie," Scheherazade, Shahrazad, Šahrzād) is the legendary narrator and central character framing One Thousand and One Nights (Arabic ألف وواحد ليلة, Romanized Alf wa waħid layla).

This collection of Middle Eastern, South Asian, and North African folktales compiled in Arabic between the 8th-14th centuries is a powerhouse in the West, where its origins are deemphasized.
Princess Yasodhara, Prince Siddhartha's wife
Sheherazade
is the super smart wife of King Shahryar who saves herself, and ultimately all the women in the kingdom, from execution by recounting a continuous sequence of interlinked stories over the course of 1,001 nights.

Sheherazade is not the protagonist in the individual tales she narrates. Rather, she functions as the unifying narrative consciousness of the entire work of brilliance. She's the storyteller.

Through [the use of cliffhangers or] deliberate pacing, narrative suspense, and thematic selection, she gradually transforms King Shahryar from a ruler driven by misogyny and vengeance into a just and stable king. More

Sex? Girls mutating? Selling themselves?

What has gotten into the girl of today? No longer a young lady in manner or modesty, she has become an attention [gatherer], a pick me girl, someone obsessed with external validation, approval, and likes -- or trying to outdo others around her to make herself feel better.

The Deleted Goddess of Christianity

Bodhisattva Kwan Yin, Buddhist Goddess of Compassion

The deleted Goddess of Christianity
(Asangoham) Discover evidence that Christianity erased a Goddess from its origins. What if everything we think we know about biblical monotheism is incomplete?

Beloved, nurturing Goddess Asherah
Recent discoveries have shattered our understanding of ancient Israelite religion, revealing that Yahweh [Yaldabaoth, the Demiurge in Gnosticism] -- the God of the Bible -- was once worshipped alongside a divine feminine consort [his wife] named Asherah for nearly 600 years.

In 1975, archeologists discovered pottery inscriptions at Kuntillet Ajrud in the Sinai Peninsula that shouldn't exist according to traditional biblical history.

Greece's Athena (Pallas)
Written in ancient Hebrew and dating to the 8th century BCE, the inscriptions read: "I bless you by Yahweh of Samaria and by his Asherah." His Asherah. That possessive pronoun changed everything.

Additional discoveries at Khirbet el-Qom confirmed what biblical editors had tried to erase: Israel's God had a wife, and she was worshipped in Solomon's Temple itself until King Josiah violently purged her cult around 622 BCE.

But Asherah's erasure was only the beginning. This documentary explores how the divine feminine was systematically removed from Christianity across seven critical chapters:

Chapter 1: The Vanished Feminine
The Divine Feminine (Holy Goddesses)
Before Christianity, the Mediterranean ["Middle Earth" aka "Center of World"] world overflowed with goddess worship:
  • Isis in Egypt,
  • Ishtar in Mesopotamia,
  • Artemis in Ephesus,
  • Cybele in Rome.
Then something changed. As Christianity spread, the Goddess disappeared from official theology, her temples destroyed [Asherah poles chopped down], her images smashed, her names forbidden.

Chapter 2: Asherah and the Forgotten Consort of Yahweh

The Queen of Heaven before Mary
Archeological evidence from ancient Israel reveals the explosive truth: Yahweh's divine consort was worshipped for centuries before reformers violently erased her.

The Bible itself preserves evidence of her destruction. We can examine pottery shards, temple artifacts, and biblical texts to prove that monotheism wasn't always so mono. [In fact, it is clear the whole area and the Jews in particular were polytheists.]

Sophia mystical: Sophia/Wisdom (Gnosticism)

Chapter 3: Sophia and the Gnostic Christ
Perfection of Wisdom, Java
The divine feminine refused to stay buried. She resurfaces in the Hebrew Bible as Hokmah (Wisdom), speaking as God's first creation and master craftsman. In Gnostic Christianity, Sophia becomes central to cosmic drama.
The Nag Hammadi texts discovered in 1945 show early Christian communities who understood Christ's mission as fundamentally connected to the restoration of the divine feminine.
