Jewish US Army intel officer quits over Gaza
Jewish U.S. Army intel officer quits over Gaza, says it's "impossible" not to see echoes of Nazi Holocaust
.
Major Mann left his role at the Defense Intelligence Agency after a 13-year career, saying in a public letter explaining his resignation that "nearly unqualified support for the government of Israel…has enabled and empowered the killing and starvation of tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians."
Major Mann submitted his resignation on Nov. 1, just over three weeks into Israel's invasion of and assault on Gaza, but his separation from the military became effective last week.
"Even in the first weeks after October 7…it was really clear that they [Zionist Jewish Israelis] were prepared to inflict huge numbers of civilian [Palestinian] casualties," Major Mann tells Democracy Now!
"I understood that every day that I was going to go into the office, I was going to be contributing to the [genocidal] Israeli campaign."
Major Mann also explains how his Jewish background impacted his decision to resign, saying that while he was proud to wear the same uniform of soldiers who liberated Nazi concentration camps during World War II, it was "impossible" not to see echoes of the Holocaust in [Israel's] devastation of Gaza.
"Seeing photos of charred [human] bodies and burnt corpses and starved, emaciated children that are from 2023, 2024, not the '40s, it's impossible not to make that connection," says Major Mann.
"The situations are not perfectly analogous, but the moral similarities were very clear to me." [Nazis are known by their behavior not just their race, yet in this case, both are Germanic whites killing people they regard as dispensable.]

Israel has two CIAs: "ISIS" and "Mossad"
J. Dore, K. Metzger (TJDS); Pfc. Sandoval, Sheldon S., Ashley Wells (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
“Mossad could stage false flag attack on U.S.” – concludes official United States Army report one day before the 9-11 false flag staged "attack," like the curiosity of Building 7, which collapsed spontaneously hours later and fell conveniently into its own footprint without being hit by a plane or anything. It seems a smoldering fire brought it down unexpectedly late in the day, not that anyone noticed or made much of it except Dr. Judy Wood (drjudywood.com).

Gen Z: The military ain't for me (video)

Gen Z explains why they won’t join the U.S. military: NOT what you think, but worse

Why is it bad karma to battle others?
Ven. Thanissaro (trans.) accesstoinsight.org; edited by Dhr. Seven, Wisdom Quarterly

| KARMA: It's everywhere you're going to be. |
Knowing that, the Buddha advises humans to avoid unskillful karma (unwholesome deeds that lead, when their results finally ripen whether in this life or a future life, to suffering).
He defined "wrong livelihood" for people. "A follower [of my advice] abstains from five types of business. What are those five? Trade in weapons, trade in human beings, trade in meat, trade in intoxicants, and trade in poisons"
(AN 5.177).
Considering the military to become a soldier? It would be good to reconsider.
SUTRA: If I die in battle, I go to [Valhalla], right?
![]() |
| I killed all those people for nothing, out of ignorance, fear, and hatred. Now I'm going to... |
.
![]() |
| Wait, Valhalla is a hell not a heaven? |
"Venerable sir, I have heard that it is passed down by the ancient teaching lineage of warriors that 'When a warrior strives and exerts himself in battle, if others strike him down and slay him while he is striving and exerting himself in battle then, with the breakup of the body after death, he is reborn in the company of devas (shining ones) slain in battle.' What does the Blessed One have to say about that?"
"Enough, headman, set that question aside. Do not ask it."
But a second time...and a third time the headman Yodhajiva asked it... 'What does the Blessed One have to say about that?"
"Headman, apparently, I am unable to get around it by saying, 'Enough, headman, set that question aside. Do not ask it.' So I will answer directly:
"When a warrior strives and exerts himself in battle, his mind is already seized, debased, and misdirected by the thought, 'May these beings be struck down or slaughtered, annihilated, destroyed. May they not exist.'
"If others then strike him down and slay him while he is striving and exerting himself in battle then, with the breakup of the body after death, he is reborn in a hell called the Realm of Those Slain in Battle.
"But if he holds such a view as, 'When a warrior strives and exerts himself in battle, if others strike him down and slay him while he is striving and exerting himself in battle then, with the breakup of the body after death, he is reborn in the company of devas slain in battle,' that is a wrong view.
"Now truthfully I say, there are two destinations for a person with wrong view, hell or the animal realm."
When this was said, the headman Yodhajiva began to sob and he burst into tears.
[The Blessed One said:] "That is what I could not get around by saying, 'Headman, enough, set that aside. Do not ask it.'"
[Yodhajiva:] "Venerable sir, I'm not crying because of what the Blessed One said to me but because for so long time I have been deceived, cheated, and fooled by that ancient teaching lineage of warriors who said that'" (SN 42.3).

Why US Army tried to exterminate US buffalo
Darkroom (Vox, July 30, 2021); Xochitl, Dhr. Seven, Pat Macpherson (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
Why the US Army tried to exterminate the bison
![]() |
| Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz & Dina Gilio-Whitaker |
In the mid-1800s, a cultural fiction, an unfounded belief, known as “Manifest Destiny” dictated that white settlers were the rightful owners of the entire North American continent – even though Native Americans had inhabited the land for thousands of years.
In order to clear land for white settlers, the US Army engaged in violent scorched-earth tactics against the Indigenous peoples of the Great Plains. One big part of that campaign was to eliminate their crucial food source: the bison.
![]() |
| Not a Nation of Immigrants (R. Dunbar-Ortiz) |
Around the same time, the US government set aside some of the land once inhabited by the Plains Indians as a national park, and in 1872 Yellowstone was established.
A key mission of Yellowstone was to conserve the land and the animals that roamed there, including the bison.
Today, the soldiers who once patrolled the park are celebrated for having “saved” the bison in Yellowstone, obscuring their own violent contribution to the animal’s near extinction.

Join the Marines, get high, kill (video)
Combat Obscura (film); Pfc. Sandoval, Crystal Q., Dhr. Seven (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

“So raw the [Marine] corps doesn’t want you to see it. One of most genuine looks at what the Forever War was like for those who waged it.” - James Clark, Task and Purpose

Combat Obscura (official trailer)
But upon discharging, Lagoze took all the footage he and his fellow cameramen shot. He assembled quite simply the very documentary the Corps does NOT want you to see.
Combat Obscura is a groundbreaking look at daily life in a U.S. war zone as told by the Marines themselves.
More than a mere compilation of violence, the edit ingeniously repurposes the original footage to reveal the intensity and paradoxes of an ambiguous war all while getting high and doing unspeakably callous things for the military-industrial complex.

“The beauty of the film is its realness. All the footage is taken directly from his camera. Lagoze went on to compile all the events he felt were representative of his experience. He shows the gun fights, the cursing, the shouting, the laughter, the fear, and the hostility of the men in the war. Nothing is withheld.”

The session was a classified briefing about [the U.S. War on] Afghanistan, according to a White House official who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the [specific] subject of the private briefing.... Acting Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan said he has no orders to reduce the U.S. troop presence, although officials say that is at the top of the Taliban's list of demands in exploratory peace negotiations. Should females face military draft?
kfiam640.iheart.com; Pfc. Sandoval, Crystal Q. (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
![]() |
| You want me to kill? Want me killed? |
A federal judge has ruled that it is unconstitutional to only force men to register for the draft when they turn 18. While the draft ended in 1973 following the Vietnam War, the MSSA (Military Selective Service Act) still requires all men between the ages of 18 and 25 to register for the draft. In 1981, the Supreme Court ruled that only requiring men to register was constitutional because at that time the military banned women from serving in combat roles. That changed in 2013, and Senior Judge Gray Miller of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas ruled that the government "can no longer justify the MSSA's gender-based discrimination." The lawsuit was filed by the National Coalition for Men, who praised the judges ruling. "Forcing only males to register is an aspect of socially institutionalized male disposability," the group said in a statement. "Men still face prison, fines, and denial of federal loans for not registering or for not updating the government of their whereabouts." Women, it said, "should face the same repercussions as men for any noncompliance."

Major Ed Dames on Remote Viewing (video)
Ed Dames (learnrv.com);Pat Macpherson, Seth Auberon (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
![]() |
| The mind has many powers. |
What separates official Remote Viewing protocols from anyone else that teaches some other system is that virtually anyone can learn this with no previous experience or "abilities" required.
HOW DOES THE RV TRAINING WORK?
After each lesson, a person will execute a blind practice target that incorporates what has just been learned, conducting each Remote Viewing practice session right along with classroom students on the DVDs.
After each session has ended, detailed feedback is immediately provided and the target is revealed. Comparing session results with the actual results of the classroom students makes learning more interactive.
The feedback segments show how accurately a person hit the target and where pitfalls may have been so that one quickly and continually becomes more accurate. This course was designed to allow one to go through each DVD at one's own pace. More

Birthday: Trump one year closer to death
USA Today; Pfc. Sandoval, Ashley Wells, CC Liu; Crystal Quintero (ed.), Wisdom Quarterly
See, what you people don't realize is that Turnip is so patriotic he was born on the same day as the US Army, Flag Day, and a Zombie. That's dedication, though it was the same day not the same year, but close. DJ is "old" now but still full of vigor and just as much of an [blank] as always. Don Juan -- middle name "John," which is interesting because he consorts with prostitutes behind his wife's back -- is not so bad. There have been worse presidents: Bush, Bush II, Cheney (the real move and shaker behind the previous two), Nixon, LBJ, to name a few.
Like Bush W., he wasn't really elected. He was selected, backed by the billionaire Mercers, who pull his strings. Everyone thinks he's doing these things and they fail to see who is really writing up legislation and executive orders. He can't write.
He can only distract, and that's why he is where he is. Good job! Look how well he does it. When he ceases to be useful in this way to the Republicans and the powers that be (who back both parties, or both wings of the only party we have, which some call the Money Party, and will not allow a third unless they can run it), he will be removed.
What are We the People going to do about it anyway? Turnip has been the greatest motivator of involvement in politics there has ever been in this country, except for those two times those guys got everyone excited about "revolution." First there was false hope Barry Obama, and more recently there was sell out Bernie O'Sanders. To think that party politics is going to change anything with the set they have going is the height of not paying attention to how things really work.

Summer begins (unofficially)! June 22 is the real summer (as marked by the summer solstice, the alleged longest day of the year though later it's hotter and days seem longer). Memorial Day is time to eat Tofu Pups, grilled veggies on the barbie (Q), Beyond Meat/Impossible Burgers, potatoes of all sorts, and refreshing kombucha and tea. What must the world think of us? Let's take an American anthropology class as taught by Shaun from Scotland and have a look in the mirror.

They
have pursued a singular artistic vision that dates back to the
ensemble’s origins.
In 1973 David Harrington was inspired to form the Kronos Quartet after hearing George Crumb’s Black Angels -- a highly unorthodox,
Vietnam War-inspired work featuring bowed water glasses, spoken word
passages, and electronic effects.
Kronos revisits the inspiration for the
founding of the group with My Lai.
The infamous 1968 massacre by American soldiers of
unarmed Vietnamese villagers provides the context
for this gripping new work... featuring Vietnamese multi-instrumentalist Vân-Ánh Võ.
It's told from the perspective of the heroic helicopter pilot Hugh
Thompson, who tried to stop the slaughter and was vilified for reporting
it. More

The quartet here does not call attention to itself, but its instinctual rightness makes any given moment matter.

In his book Kill Anything That Moves, Nick Turse reveals that the American War’s casualty figures are
staggering. From 1955 to 1975:
- The United States killed more than 5,800,000 military personnel in Southeast Asia.
- Vietnamese troops were wounded around 30,400,000 times.
- Of those, 15,300,000 cases were serious enough to require hospitalization.
- And 7,500,000 veterans were left severely disabled.
- [These number were 100 times less for US soldiers who invaded Vietnam to rape, pillage, murder, subjugate, and enslave the Vietnamese.]

Nick Turse also states that according to Westmoreland’s memoir, MacArthur “urged me to
make sure I always had plenty of artillery, for the Oriental, he said, ‘greatly fears artillery,’” and suggested that Westmoreland might have
to employ a “scorched earth policy” in Vietnam (p.61).
