At least 110 people have been reported dead and hundreds more were injured after a magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck China’s northwestern province of Gansu overnight on Dec. 18, 2023. It was China’s deadliest quake in nearly a decade since 617 people died in August 2014 when Yunnan province was hit by a major earthquake. More: sc.mp/avp0
O, Pele, forgive us our sins. 😉
The goddess Pele must be very mad, mad at Israel for mass murder, oppression, and hypocrisy; mad at the planet and fuming through an outlet in Iceland and seismic activity in China; weeping over dry drought-stricken Los Angeles (the center of the world because of the hegemonic influence of Hollywood) with a slow-moving storm that poses flood threat to California. What does Pele want? Repentance? A virgin sacrifice? More business as usual?
The Southland is in for a dangerous dousing. We must be complicit in Israel's support.
First water then snow, slamming into the state which is normally sunny and dry for Xmas.
Chemtrails, sprayed over the past few days in crisscross patterns, ensure a deluge for dry streets.
Here's how much Israeli terrorists care about killing innocents
(TJDS) Jimmy Dore and Kurt Metzger break down war crimes visited upon Jewish Israeli by Israeli Jews of the IDF. When they do this to Arabs/Palestinians, no one cares. When they do it to European Jews, Israel blows up again against Netanyahu.
Northwestern China hit by massive killer quake in freezing temperatures. Could it be, as Sharon Stone might ask, due to its criminal state oppression of ethnic Uyghurs, being forced to submit or face genocide like so many Tibetans? Of course, it would be silly, simplistic, and wrong to think that one thing immediately begets another. Samsara is very long, and there is time for bad karma to bear its bitter fruit. There is, however, such a thing as "collective karma," often too slow to save beings from their wrongdoing. For any Buddhist who doubts that, consider the fate of the Shakyas (Sakas, Scythians) in the Buddha's family clan. What became of them and why? They were slaughtered by their offended neighbors, this horror was later explained by being traced back to a time when many of them, having been born in each other's company as so often happens over the course of this long wandering on through samsara, they poisoned a river (apparently unintentionally), killing many fish. But isn't karma "intentional action"? Yes, the act, not the result. They intentionally poisoned the river; they did not intentionally kill the fish. The fish died as a result of their action, which made the results worse. It not only made it worse for individuals involved, it made the results catastrophic for them collectively. The working out of karma is an imponderable thing in detail but knowable in general.
Who in the world is Pele?
Girl fight: Kapiolani defying Pele (wiki)
In Hawaiian religion, Pele is the goddess of volcanoes and fire and the creator of the chain of over a thousand Hawaiian Islands.
Often referred to as "Madame Pele" or "Tūtū Pele" as a sign of respect, she is a well-known deity within Hawaiian mythology and is notable for her contemporary presence and cultural influence as an enduring figure from ancient Hawaii [1].
Epithets of the goddess include Pele-honua-mea ("Pele of the sacred land") and Ka wahine ʻai honua ("The earth-eating woman") [2].
In different stories talking about the goddess Pele, she was born from the female spirit named Haumea. This spirit is important when talking about Hawaiʻi's gods as she descended from Papa, or Earth Mother, and Wakea, Sky Father, both descendants of the supreme beings.
Pele is also known as "She who shapes the sacred land," spoken of in ancient Hawaiian chants [3, 4].
The first published stories about Pele were written by William Ellis [5].
According to legend, Pele lives in Halemaʻumaʻu of Kīlauea in Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. Kīlauea is a currently active volcano that is located on the island of Hawaiʻi and is still being extensively studied [6].
Many Hawaiians believe Kilauea to be inhabited by a "family of fire gods," one of the sisters being Pele who is believed to govern Kilauea and is responsible for controlling its lava flows [7].
There are several traditional legends associated with Pele in Hawaiian mythology. In addition to being recognized as the goddess of volcanoes, Pele is also known for her power, passion, jealousy, and capriciousness. She has numerous siblings... More + VIDEO
Iceland is exploding and vomiting molten earth
AT A GLANCE:
The eruption is just a couple of miles north of the town Grindavik.
The entire town of Grindavik was evacuated in November because of seismic activity.
Many evacuees are still living in temporary accommodations.
Iceland volcanic island that's still blackened
A large volcanic eruption is underway in southwestern Iceland, with semi-molten rock shooting high into the air in an area where scientists feared for weeks that such an event would take place.
It's happening about 2 miles north of the town of Grindavik, which had been evacuated last month amid fears that an eruption nearby was likely.
There are signs that Vikings were here.
Earthquakes left some homes damaged in the town, which also prompted evacuations.
This type of eruption is not likely to send a large amount of ash into the air, and therefore, large-scale flight delays and cancellations are not expected.
The eruption is happening about 30 miles southwest of Iceland's capital, Reykjavik (home of chess), along the Reykjanes Peninsula.

There are signs of volcanic activity everywhere
Iceland’s Foreign Minister Bjarne Benediktsson said on X, formerly Twitter, that there were no disruptions of flights to and from Iceland and international flight corridors remain open. More

A huge 8.9 Richter scale earthquake rocked Tokyo today resulting in a giant tsunami causing incredible amounts of damage, injuries and deaths. My first reaction was to check the University of Tokyo's HAARP induction magnetometer to see if HAARP was fired up around the time of the quake. Sure enough, following a week of electromagnetic silence, HAARP was turned on at approximately 0:00 hours 9 March, 2011 UTC and has been going strong since. Here is the data for the last 36 hours [March 10, 2011]:
For the past week prior to the quake, HAARP has been turned off with the induction magnetometer looking something like this everyday:
Next I started searching the net for other evidence linking HAARP to Japan and found these videos from 2009 and 2010 where HAARP or some similar weather modification device is clearly being used over Japan skies:
There is an interesting article regarding the 2007 Niigata, Japan earthquake called "Western Bankers Threatened Japan with HAARP Eco-Destruction a Year Before China Quakes." Before the Niigata earthquake, just as before the China and Chile quakes, strange aurora-like lights were seen in the sky, lights that HAARP experts have confirmed are caused by electromagnetic disturbance coming down from the ionosphere:
There certainly has been a huge spike in devastating earthquakes striking close to capital cities the past several years.
Dissatisfied with the destruction and havoc wreaked in Indonesia, New Zealand, and very recently China, a major effort to destabilize one of the world's economic powerhouses took place at approximately 2:30 am (mid-afternoon Tokyo time). That such things are possible is unknown to most of us, but this is the awesome power of HAARP. The result is awesome, completely unnatural, and catastrophic.
U.S. is first to volunteer to move in (set up command) to "help." Instant victory, called "humanitarian relief," and we are invited in and welcomed as heroes rather than invaders. Former wars between these two nations are not forgotten in the larger arc of history. Nonbelievers need to bear in mind that we are the only country to ever use nuclear weapons to kill humans (in this case hundreds of thousands of noncombatant civilians) and it was against Japan, twice (Nagasaki and Hiroshima), not to mention the experimentation on our own population from countless Nevada and atoll test bombings that still have detectable fallout across the Midwest.
Better than a nuclear blast, for which someone would have to be blamed and guerrilla-retaliation anticipated or universal condemnation expected, the military-industrial complex has a stunning new weapon. That complex is not limited to the US (as Sen. Inouye of Hawaii described it, terming it a "shadowy government" under no elected supervision and therefore beyond constitutionally established checks and balances). But the US/Pentagon/NSC/NSA/CIA is by far the most powerful and warlike empire in the countries within the HAARP array.
There will be no public admission. There will be no acceptance of responsibility for attacks. If one waits for such official disclosure to attempt to understand what is happening, one may as well surrender to the well orchestrated Psychological Operations (formerly known as "propaganda") that diverts attention and by its own admission misleads public opinion as an act of war.
Government-assassinated peace activist Martin Luther King Jr. said it best. Love and understanding is needed from us. We are not the "US" (U.S.) who did this, that carries out nonstop war, yet we must comprehend what is happening in our name and still radiate love:
"I knew that I could never again raise my voice against the violence of the oppressed in the ghettos without having first spoken clearly to the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today -- my own government… We can no longer afford to worship the god of hate or bow before the altar of retaliation. The oceans of history are made turbulent by the ever-rising tides of hate. And history is cluttered with the wreckage of nations and individuals that pursued this self-defeating path of hate." (WB)

BEIJING (March 10, 2011) — An earthquake struck China's extreme southwest near the border with Burma Thursday, killing at least 22 people and injuring more than 200. Witnesses reported that a supermarket and a hotel had partially collapsed in the magnitude 5.8 earthquake, the official Xinhua News Agency said. Xinhua said there were reports that people had been buried under debris and that the tremor had caused a power outage across Yingjiang. The agency said there had been three aftershocks, measuring up to 4.7 degrees on the Richter Scale, within 10 minutes.
The cause is HAARP. It's caused by the heating of the ionsphere with radio and microwave radiation.
Tsunami, or a series of waves and tidal surges that are particularly impactful in harbors, are like quakes. The first one is not necessarily the worst one. By 11:30 am, people think the California coast is in the clear. We are getting reports at Wisdom Quarterly that our southern California beaches are fine. But the northern part of the state has already been hit. Crescent City is one example.
It is not a "natural" phenomenon, but something quite manmade.
Tibetan monks gather outside their destroyed monastery in Jiegu, Yushu county, in China's northwestern province of Qinghai last week. The quake in China's remote northwest has left more than 8,000 monks homeless after damaging nearly 90 monasteries, state media said Monday (AFP/Str).
BEIJING (AFP) – The quake in China's remote northwest has left more than 8,000 monks homeless after damaging nearly 90 monasteries, state media said Monday, as the focus of relief work moved onto resettling survivors. Authorities in the province of Qinghai said repairing monasteries would be a priority in reconstruction efforts, the state-run China Daily said, nearly two weeks after the 6.9-magnitude earthquake, which killed over 2,200 people. "By the end of this year, we hope to restore the living quarters of the monasteries for more than 8,000 monks now living in makeshift tents," Leshi, head of Yushu's ethnic and religious affairs committee, was quoted as saying. BEIJING (AP) – Chinese authorities said Friday that Buddhist monks had been advised to leave an earthquake zone in a Tibetan region because specialized personnel were needed for reconstruction work, rejecting accusations that they had been told to leave for political reasons.
The death toll from last week's earthquake rose to 2,187, with schoolchildren accounting for some 200 deaths. The State Council, China's Cabinet, issued a statement in response to The Associated Press' questions about why Tibetan monks were told this week to leave Yushu county, the epicenter of the quake in a remote corner of western Qinghai province. CBSNewsOnline (April 14, 2010) — 400 dead, 10,000 injured in 6.9 quake in the western Qinghai province. Huge rescue operation underway. Peter Sharp reports from Beijing.
(WQ) There has been a dramatic increase in the frequency of large quakes (greater than 6.0). The question is, Why is this happening? Is it natural, 2012, "bad karma," God's whimsy, random chance? We present that there is nothing natural or random about it. This is war technology being experimented with. America of course was the first (and only) country ever to use atomic bombs on human beings, mainly civilian. Now it is leading the way in HAARP technology. As the Buddha explained thousands of years ago, earthquakes are due to eight causes. Their principal cause is explained in terms of agitating the atmosphere. How can the atmosphere be intentionally agitated?

BEICHUAN – China marked the first anniversary of a massive earthquake today in a somber, nationally televised ceremony. The proceedings were filled with flowers and speeches, as the normally distant Chinese leadership provided an unusually cathartic public moment.
The 30-minute memorial service in front of a destroyed school in the Sichuan Province town of Yingxiu followed a minute of silence that began at 2:28 p.m. (0628 GMT), the moment the magnitude-7.9 temblor shook China — and some countries beyond — on May 12, 2008. More>>

BEIJING -- Chinese rescue teams carrying tents, quilts, and sacks of rice rushed Sunday to reach survivors of an earthquake that killed at least 27 people, turned tens of thousands of homes into rubble, and cracked reservoirs.
Sharon Stone said she "cried" after the Tibetan Foundation asked her to come to the assistance of Chinese quake victims and added: "They wanted to go and be helpful, and that made me cry....It was a big lesson to me that sometimes you have to learn to put your head down and be of service even to people who aren't nice to you" (enjoyfrance.com).
The 6.1-magnitude quake struck Sichuan province on Saturday along the same fault line as the May 12 quake that killed nearly 70,000.
Dozens of evacuees were assembled on a primary school field in Panzhihua, footage from state broadcaster China Central Television showed. Wrapped in quilts, the evacuees, including children and the elderly, lay on plastic sheets and mats on the ground.
Saturday's quake killed 22 people in Sichuan and five in the neighboring province of Yunnan, the official Xinhua News Agency said, citing the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The quake damaged major bridges and cracked three reservoirs, the agency said.
Another 362 people were injured, and three were missing after the quake hit 31 miles southeast of Panzhihua City in the southwestern corner of Sichuan on Saturday afternoon, the report said.
About 40,000 people were evacuated and relief efforts were under way, despite being hampered by heavy rains and the region's rugged terrain, Xinhua said. It said 6,200 tents, 3,500 quilts, and 55,000 pounds of rice were sent to the quake zone.
Since the 7.9-magnitude temblor on May 12, the region has been hit by scores of aftershocks.
A woman who answered the phone at Sichuan provincial seismological bureau said the region was hit by about 300 aftershocks on Sunday morning. She declined to give her name, saying she was not authorized to speak to the media.
Later on Sunday, a 5.6 magnitude aftershock was recorded in the same location as Saturday's quake, the administration said in a separate statement posted on its Web site. It was not immediately clear what damage the aftershock caused.
