(The Newsmakers/TRT) Oct. 2, 2025: Militant Israeli forces state-sponsored pirates illegally intercepted and boarded several Global Sumud Flotilla vessels in international waters on Wednesday, which have been sailing to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza and deliver aid.

Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, along with hundreds of other activists, were detained, kidnapped, and forcibly taken to Israel.

PM Netanyahu’s government had previously vowed to do "whatever it takes" to stop the humanitarian flotilla from reaching starving, war-torn Gaza.

The international community has condemned Israel for creating a manmade famine and abduction at sea, denouncing its actions as a breach of international maritime law.

To debate that and more TRT is joined by one of the flotilla’s activists aboard the boat Shireen. She shares her first-hand experience of the live situation at sea and the risks involved.

Dolphins are cetacean mammals that are related to whales and porpoises (and orcas or killer "whales" are actually giant dolphins). They range in size from 4 feet to up to 30 feet; dolphins are among almost forty species in 17 genera.

Found worldwide, they prefer the shallower seas of the continental shelves. As predatory carnivores, their diet consists of mostly fish and squid.
