The Yonaguni Monument (Japanese 与那国島海底地形) refers to Yonaguni-jima Kaitei Chikei, literally, "Yonaguni Island Submarine Topography," possibly a remnant of the Land of Mu (mythical lost continent).

The manmade structures are also called the "Yonaguni (Island) Submarine Ruins" or 与那国（島）海底遺跡, Yonaguni-jima Kaitei Iseki.

This submerged rock formation rests off the coast of Yonaguni, the southernmost of the Ryukyu Islands, in Japan. It lies approximately 100 kilometers (62 miles) east of Taiwan. More: Yonaguni 

Where is Yonaguni?

Yonaguni (Japanese 与那国島, Hepburn Yonaguni-jima, Dunan-chima, older Juni-shima [2], Yunoon-zïma, Yunaguni-jima), one of the Yaeyama Islands, is the westernmost island of Japan [3], lying between the East China Sea and the Philippine Sea.

A mere 107.4 kilometers (58.0 nmi, 66.7 miles) separate the island from Taiwan at their closest points. It is administered as the town of Yonaguni, Yaeyama Gun, Okinawa, and there are three settlements: Sonai, Kubura, and Higawa.

Reported by the Daily Mail, these remnants were entombed under sediment in an area that was once part of Sundaland (Malesia), a massive Southeast Asian land bridge.

  LEMURIA was a continent proposed in 1864 by zoologist Philip Sclater, theorized to have sunk beneath the Indian Ocean. It was later appropriated by occultists in supposed accounts of human origins. The theory was discredited with the discovery of plate tectonics and continental drift in the 20th century [1]. The hypothesis was proposed as an explanation for the presence of lemur fossils on Madagascar and the Indian subcontinent but not in continental Africa or the Middle East. Biologist Ernst Haeckel's suggestion in 1870 that Lemuria could be the ancestral home of humans caused the hypothesis to move beyond the scope of geology and zoogeography, ensuring its popularity outside of the framework of the scientific community. More

Star People of Hawaii: Mu's Mt. Sumeru?

The axis mundi Mt. Sumeru

In Buddhist cosmology, the central mountain around which everything else on the plane of the Earth revolves is Mount Sumeru (or "Good Meru"). It is thought mythological because it would be bigger than Mt. Everest or Mt. Kailash and it should be in the middle of the ocean. The lost continent of Mu (or Lemuria) would fit the bill, and the peak of this sunken continent still sticks up above sea level, and it is called Hawaii's Mauna Kea. It did not get shorter when the continent sank; the floor got lower, and most of it is underwater. So it is like a tall person standing in a hole next to a guy named Everest standing on a platform. The "tallest" mountain is still Mauna Kea.
