Monkey men taught by celestial god being?

(Ancient Bloodline) [AI slop to fuel speculation:] Life 1.9 million years ago: ancient aliens teach prehistoric humans how to survive? It was not by violence but by farming, cooperation, and controlling base instincts.

140K-y-o lost city found on bottom of ocean

A team of scientists has unearthed a concealed city beneath the ocean, potentially offering the first solid evidence of the mythical lost world.

Excavations revealed a Homo erectus skull, believed to be 140,000 years old, along with over 6,000 fossils from 36 species, such as Komodo dragons and elephants, in the Madura Strait off Indonesia.

.
Sundaland fossils offer tangible proof.
Reported by the Daily Mail, these remnants were entombed under sediment in an area that was once part of Sundaland (Malesia), a massive Southeast Asian land bridge.
  • Hidden city built 140,000 years ago discovered at bottom of ocean (Osheen Yadav, May 24, 2025) Buried beneath the sea off the coast of Indonesia, scientists have made a groundbreaking discovery that could rewrite the story of human origins. The skull of Homo erectus, an ancient human ancestor, was discovered over 140,000 years after it was first buried, preserved beneath layers of silt and sand in the Madura Strait between the islands of Java [site of the world's largest excavated Buddhist temple known as Borobudur] and Madura. Experts say the site may be the first physical evidence of the lost world, a prehistoric landmass known as Sundaland that once connected Southeast Asia in a vast tropical plain. The origin of language in humans

The origins of language
(History with Kayleigh) Premiered March 17, 2025: Researching the origins of language, can we pinpoint when language first emerged? What do other great apes reveal about their use of language, and how does that tie into our own evolution and development of language? Let's find out. SPONSOR: AirLearn now: airlearn.onelink.me...
  • What's the oldest language in the world? The Tamil language from the Buddhist island of Sri Lanka (aka Eelam, the land of the Tamil Tigers, for which the longest civil war in Asia was fought), Southern India (Tamil Nadu), and Singapore (though surely Sanskrit must be much older than that)

Homo Big Head: human ancestor found

Homo juluensis
is not just what Brian calls Stewie behind his back. It's now a real scientific designation as of a week ago. Chinese scientists think they have another (formerly contemporaneous) human ancestor on their hands. Who were the Denisovans? Are they today's Tibetans? Neanderthals and Cro-Magnons, are they just proto-Europeans?

What drives evolution, climate or competition?

Wallace, Darwin's forgotten "frenemy"
(SciShow) June 29, 2017: Everyone knows the name Charles Darwin, but his lesser known frenemy, Alfred Russel Wallace, was developing a lot of the same ideas around the same time. It's bizarre: humans are competitive like animals
(University of Cambridge via Newsweek) Human evolution might be more "bizarre" than we once thought, according to a new study.

In the past, scientists (anthropologists) believed that hominin evolution was largely driven by changes in climate. But now, research from the University of Cambridge has suggested that competition was, in fact, fundamental to hominin evolution.

Wallace, you were right. - I know, Darwin.
"We have been ignoring the way competition between species has shaped our own evolutionary tree," said lead author Dr. Laura van Holstein, a University of Cambridge biological anthropologist from Clare College.

"The effect of climate on hominin species is only part of the story." Interspecies [not to be confused with intraspecies or between humans] competition is common among most other vertebrates: in any new environment there is an explosion of species evolution as each species adapts to fill a particular niche.

I shoulda killed that Wallace to evolve.
However, once all the niches are filled, competition kicks in and this explosive evolution flatlines. "The pattern we see across many early hominins is similar to all other mammals," van Holstein said. "Speciation rates increase and then flatline, at which point extinction rates start to increase. This suggests that interspecies competition was a major evolutionary factor."

However, when van Holstein studied the evolution of our own genus, Homo, things started to get much more peculiar.

"The more species of Homo there were, the higher the rate of speciation," she said. "So when those niches got filled, something drove even more species to emerge. This is almost unparalleled in evolutionary science."

In other words, it appears as if competition between different Homo species actually drove the evolution of even more Homo species — a complete reversal of what we would expect to see based on the evolution of most other vertebrates.

Here's what would happen if ALL humans completely disappeared (Aperture)

COMMENTARY
So Long, Thanks for All Fish
(WQ) Given this breakthrough, we should start having competitive games not (intra) between humans and humans but (inter) between humans and animals. The all-female chicken league can go up against Missourians in worm finding. Bull teams can go up against matadors with horn helmets instead of swords. We can launch Iditarod II, a race where hungry dogs or wolves chase humans across the ice and snow to see who crosses the line first. There can be a surfer versus shark competition in the summers to see who can exclude the other from more waves. Fisherpersons can get out of boats and into the water to have it out with schools of sportfish. We can film a "Survivor Congo" mixed gender social strategy game between bonobos and humans. And we can have an international dolphin versus nerds test of intellect, where we will insist on a handicap for having smaller brains than the sea mammals.

Scientists create first live chimera monkey
Am I transhuman now? Can I [blank] her?
FrankenScience has taken a new twist with the first live birth of a "chimeric" monkey. And it glows green.
They'll never make a human-owl chimera, right?

Chimeras in mythology, particularly Greek
Scientists from China reported the “long-sought” birth of a male primate containing a high proportion of cells derived from a monkey stem cell line.

The contribution of stem cells in different tissue types ranged from 21 percent to 92 percent, according to the Chinese team.

The “chimeric” monkey is composed of cells that originated from two genetically distinct embryos of the same species of monkey, according to research published in the journal Cell.

Please stop testing on us and torturing us.
The process has previously been achieved in rats and mice but, until now, has not been possible in other species, including non-human primates.

Study leader Dr. Zhen Liu, of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), said: “This is a long-sought goal in the field.

"Please leave us alone."
“This research not only has implications for understanding naive pluripotency [ability of cells to do many things] in other primates, including humans, but it also has relevant practical implications for genetic engineering and species conservation.

“Specifically, this work could help us to generate more precise monkey models [to do torturous animal testing on] for studying neurological diseases as well as for other biomedicine studies.” More

Neanderthal (caveman) found buried alive

Matt Hrodey, DIscover Magazine via MSN.com, 9/14/23; Eds. Wisdom Quarterly
Was Altamura Man a MISFIT? He fell through hole, got stuck, disappeared, never came home.
Who was the Neanderthal Altamura Man, found in cave in Southern Spain? (Discovery Mag)
.
Altamura Man: How one Neanderthal's misfortune became a blessing for science
In 1993, cave explorers entered a long, narrow tunnel at the Lamalunga Cave near the town of Altamura in Southern Italy.

At the far end, they found an upside-down human skull fused into the rock alongside a large collection of other human bones.

The skull’s jutting brow was covered in a layer of pearl-like coralloid, calcium deposits otherwise known as "cave popcorn."

Much of the remains were covered in some form of the mineral that had leached down from the surrounding limestone.
Today, scientists believe the Neanderthal (the “Altamura Man”) had fallen through a sinkhole in the surrounding limestone karst and never made it back out again.
He starved to death, and the calcium deposits, along with stalactites and stalagmites, had sealed him into a calcified tomb.

Who was the Altamura Man?

In the early going, no one knew if the skeleton had belonged to an early Homo sapiens human or a Neanderthal, and given its remote location, serious scientific study was slow to come.

In 2009, a group of researchers received permission from Italian authorities to remove a piece of its right shoulder blade in an attempt to understand who this unlucky person had been. More

*Who made this ancient Spanish art?
Horse head painting near extinct auroch
(Smithsonian Magazine) Two years ago, when a team of archeologists spotted a painting of an extinct wild bull called an auroch on the wall of a cave in Spain’s Cova Dones, located in Millares, near Valencia, they knew it was important. While Spain has the largest number of Paleolithic cave art sites, most are concentrated in the country’s northern region, while few have been documented in Eastern Iberia [the European peninsula that includes the Basque Country and Portugal]. However, they didn’t realize just how significant the newly discovered cave art was until they returned to fully document it. More

Were Neanderthals white or brown? (video)

History with Kayleigh, 4/9/23; Amber Larson, Pat Macpherson (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly

Were Neanderthals white?
(History with Kayleigh) NEANDERTHAL MUSEUM We know that Neanderthal DNA has influenced the modern human (Homo sapien sapiens) genome in quite a few ways.

I think of myself as a Nordic Anglo-Saxon beauty
But did Neanderthal's DNA influence our skin tone and hair color? Why are prehistoric Neanderthals around Europe so often depicted with pale skin and stereotypical Caucasian features? How accurate is the scientific racism or artistic license of these textbook depictions?

We're more wolf and bear than human, and we don't know to come in out of the snow to caves.

NPR: Bones in cave may rewrite human history

(NPR,; CC Liu, Seth Auberon (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
Archaeologist Armand Salvador Mijares was digging in this island cave in 2007 when he discovered an ancient bone unlike a modern human's (Callao Cave Archaeology Project).

Ancient bones and teeth found in a Philippine cave may rewrite human history
The realm of the Mountain King (Edvard Grieg)
An unusual species of human [Hobbit?] apparently lived on the island of Luzon in the Philippines as recently as 50,000 years ago.

Based on teeth and bones found there, scientists suspect that these early humans probably stood less than 4 feet tall and had several apelike features.
Trolls and fairy princesses were real.
Yet, the researchers say, the bones are distinctly human -- from a previously undiscovered species.

The first clue was a bone that surfaced in 2007. Archaeologist Armand Salvador Mijares was digging in a cave on the island of Luzon and found a toe bone.

He says it didn't look like a modern human bone. "There's something peculiar with this bone," he recalls thinking. But one bone wasn't enough to say for sure who or what it belonged to. More

BBC: Is Asian Bigfoot human?

The Hobbit like Humanoids of South East Asia BBC documentary 2015.

Asia DocumentariesThe Hobbit-like humanoids of Southeast Asia known as Homo floresiensis ("Flores Island Man," nicknamed Hobbit and Flo) are an extinct human species, yet people still see them in the forest.

What are they seeing? There are miniature "Bigfoot" creatures, a Wild Man or warm weather Yeti, living in Asia. Others like Bigfoot, the Skunk Ape of Florida, Yeren of China, Yowie of Australia, Mande Barung, Yeti of the Himalayas, Almas of Georgia and Russia, and Barmanou.

Native Americans call them Sasquatches but varieties are distributed throughout the world.

Buddhism describes many fellow creatures, which are humanoids but living remotely in forests and jungles, mountains and waterways, as well as underground and in the sky (space, out there in the akasha).

Orang Pendek

Orang Pendek (Indonesian for "short person") is the most common name given to a cryptid, or cryptozoological creature, that reports say  inhabits remote, mountainous forests on the island of formerly Buddhist Sumatra, Indonesia.

It has allegedly been seen and documented for at least 100 years by forest tribes, local villagers, Dutch colonists, and Western scientists and travellers. Consensus among witnesses is that the creature is a ground-dwelling, bipedal primate that is covered in short fur and stands between 30 and 60 inches (80 and 150 cm) tall... More

Hobbits
I'm human.
Hobbits are kumbandhas, dwarfs, gnomes, duendes, tiny humanoids (aboriginals), possibly a kind of yakkha, a creature with more attuned powers than humans and higher than animals.

Science has now confirmed that they were around 13,000 years ago with evidence of them going back 700,000 years ago. Archeological remains show that they hunted komodo dragons, the largest lizards in the world today. They have been around, of course, much longer as have "modern" humans, according to Michael Cremo.

There are many, many kinds of "human" on this planet and others

Buddhism
Kumbhandā: a class of beings (gnomes, pixies, fairies) grouped with yetis, demons, titans, dragons, and others (Yakkhas, Rakkhasas, Asuras, Nāgas). The live in the southern quarter, and Virūlha (D.ii.257) is the great sky king in charge of them. In the Vidhurapandita Jātaka (J.vi.272), Kumbhīra is mentioned as one of their chiefs. They have characteristically large bellies (kumbhanda = gourd), and their genitals are as big as pots (kumbho viya), which gives them their name (D.iii.198; DA.iii.964).
