What 'God' do nontheistic Buddhists pray to?

SEE VIDEO: (Buddha's Wisdom) If Buddhism has no God... who are they praying to?

If Buddhism has no God, who are Buddhists praying to?
(Buddha's Wisdom) 🔍 IF THERE'S NO BUDDHIST GOD, WHO GETS ALL THESE PRAYERS?

The Buddha with gods Sakka and Brahma
Buddhism famously teaches that there is no "creator God." Yet, Buddhist temples across Asia overflow with [what sounds like] prayers, chants, offerings, and devotion.

From bodhisattvas and buddhas to spirits, protectors, and ancestors, this video explores whom Buddhists are actually praying to—if anyone—and why [petitionary] prayer never disappeared from Buddhism.

Discover how Buddhist "prayer" works in the absence of a supreme deity and why this "godless" religion created one of the most elaborate spiritual support systems ever conceived.
  • [NOTE: Theists are sure there's a God; atheists are sure there is not; agnostics say they do not know and remain on the fence. But nontheists are different. They say, "Whether there is a God or is not a God, we must still concern ourselves with our own enlightenment and liberation/salvation." No one else, not even "God," can do it for us. We must develop calm and insight, study and practice, to awaken from this illusory samsara or Wheel of Suffering and Rebirth.]
DISCOVER:
  • Why Buddhism rejected [an all-powerful, all-knowing, omnipresent] creator God but preserved devotion
  • Why [Mahayana] Buddhism has multiple buddhas instead of one God...and what each one specializes in
  • The bodhisattvas who postponed enlightenment just to help all living beings (and millions pray to them daily)
  • The terrifying wrathful protectors (guardian deities) who guard Buddhism with fangs and flames
  • How Buddhism absorbed local spirits, gods, and ancestors without losing its core philosophy
  • Why the three Buddhist schools (Theravāda, Mahāyāna, Vajrayāna) solve this paradox differently
  • How this ancient system still explains modern meditation, ritual, and faith
📿 If this changed understanding of Buddhist devotion, subscribe to Buddha's Wisdom for more deep explorations into Buddhism's most fascinating mysteries and apparent contradictions.

Is the Vatican sitting on UFO docs?

Will the new pope be any different, harkening back to radical Pope John Paul and his liberalizing of the Holy Roman Empire's universalist church? He may not be allowed. Pope Francis (the future Saint Francisco) could not get much done due to push back from conservatives in the church, even though he was accused of apostasy and hypocrisy but, y'know, who is he to judge? He had crimes to keep covered up, so ETs and their UFOs have to take a back seat. But the next pope, whose name will be Peter the Roman, may see things differently. All hail. Every knee shall bend to imperial Rome's rule again, just like the good old days of the Spanish Inquisition and the shutting down of Galileo by the infallible seat of power. No questions allowed!

Secret vault under the Vatican opened after 500 years, and it holds terrifying discovery
(FactFile) For centuries, the Vatican [the literal corporation at the heart of a site formerly dedicated to the worship of MITHRAS then converted to Messiah/Maitreya worship in JESUS, a Christ figure mostly concerned with the adoration of his mother, the Virgin Mary, and by extension her famous young Jewish/Nazarene son] has kept some of the world’s biggest secrets hidden behind thick walls and locked gates. But now, after 500 years, one of the most mysterious vaults has been opened. What have they found inside? Historians and researchers have uncovered things that were thought to be lost forever — relics, priceless treasures, ancient writings, and discoveries that could completely change what we think we know about history.

Abraxas: Gnostic god over God/Devil

Abraxas: The SECRET God more powerful than [Judeo-Christian] God and the Devil
(MorgueOfficial) Premiered March 29, 2025: Gnosticism is about secret (occulted, hidden) knowledge. There’s a secret god, more powerful than [the Christian] God and the Devil combined -- a god so blasphemous that for centuries merely whispering its name (Abraxas) could get one branded a heretic and hunted down.
  • Why isn't the powerful Creator God of the Vedas and Hinduism (Brahma) worshipped in India today?
Gnostic symbol: Abraxas?
But even though the Church tried to hide its existence, it has influenced everything from religion, secret societies, magick rituals, even modern psychology (like Carl Jung), and even Lady Gaga’s "Abracadabra." Let’s get started on the discovery of the hidden god called Abraxas.

Partial lunar eclipse after quake (3/29)

Partial solar eclipse darkens the skies over part of the planet (bing.com)
.
What will be the path of the partial eclipse?
One day after the massive Burma-Thailand earthquake, where will the partial solar eclipse be visible?
  • MAP: Global path of partial solar eclipse on March 29, 2025, created and annotated in Canva by Jamie Carter using MapHub.net (Source: Esri, Maxar, GeoEye, Earthstar Geographics, CNES/Airbus DS, USDA, USGS, AeroGRID, IGN, and the GIS User Community. Eclipse path by Xavier Jubie)
The partial solar eclipse on March 29, 2025, will be seen from North America, Europe, Russia, and parts of Africa.

Although it won't be as spectacular as North America's April 2024 total solar eclipse, the first solar eclipse since the "ring of fire" eclipse in Oct. 2024 is set to bring stunning views to some lucky eclipse chasers.
Just two weeks after a stunning total lunar eclipse on March 13-14, 2025, skywatchers across the western Northern Hemisphere will see at least a partial solar eclipse on March 29, 2025.

For some observers, an eclipsed sun will appear on the eastern horizon at sunrise — if skies are clear — as the moon [or Rahu] blocks up to 93% of the sun. Maps show where the partial solar eclipse will be visible.

Remember, Mom was right. It's unsafe to look directly at the sun during the partial phases of a solar eclipse. At all times, wear solar eclipse glasses to avoid quick damage to the retina. There are guides on how to observe the sun safely. Do not take Pres. Trump as a model.

What viewers need to know about the March 2025 partial solar eclipse
Who can predict the movement of the lights?
What will happen during the partial solar eclipse? This partial solar eclipse will have a long and broad path, rising in extreme eastern North America and setting in Siberia, Russia. At least a slight partial solar eclipse will be visible from northeast North America, Greenland, Western Europe, northwest and north central Russia, northwest Africa, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Arctic.

Asia, South America, almost all of Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Ocean, and most of North America will miss out. The eclipse will begin at 8:50 UTC as a partially eclipsed sunrise in northeastern North America, and at 12:43 UTC, it will end as a partially eclipsed sunset in Siberia.

About 814 million people will be in the path of at least some of this eclipse, but only about 44,800 will see at least a 90% partial solar eclipse, according to Timeanddate.com. For all locations, the entire event will take a little under two hours, with a peak in obscuration halfway through. More

The Buddhist lunar observance: uposatha
.
Moon over sacred Shwedagon Pagoda, Burma
The weekly "Sabbath" day (a word that literally means Saturday), the Buddha pointed out, was aligned with the moon since ancient times. He continued the tradition by encouraging followers to step up their spiritual exertions in these ways:

Rather than the normal adherence to the Five Precepts (abstaining from killing, stealing, sexual misconduct, lying, or consuming intoxicants that lead to heedlessness), Eight Precepts are undertaken for the day. Visiting the temple or monastic complex for studying, hearing, and practicing the Dharma, the Buddha's Teachings, is done to rededicate oneself to the practice of the Path to awakening.

This is often called the "fasting day" not because one does not eat but because one fasts from noon onwards, not taking dinner or anything after the sun is directly overhead. (We often take three or more meals a day, and fast food commercials tell us to add another late night This is to preserve energy to put forth in one's kammathana or "field of endeavor," one's meditation subject or striving to establish a good habit, such as overcoming a particular obstacle or impediment to one's practice.
  • Say, for example, laziness were an issue. One might undertake the dhutanga or "sane ascetic" practice of not lying down for 24 hours and instead strive diligently while sitting, standing, or walking. This should only be undertaken under the supervision of a sufficiently skillful teacher for guidance, for otherwise we might only be exacerbating our imbalances without actually addressing what needs addressing.
  • If we tend to overeat, we might fast the whole day.
  • If we overtalk, we might observe noble silence or complete silence to balance out our tendency.
  • If we have an issue with some unskillful karmic habit, we might address it intensively on this day with help from a monk, nun, or meditation teacher.
  • In my case, I might notice an issue with getting angry or annoyed or being irritable and may therefore want to practice loving-kindness (metta bhavana) for the full day.
  • Others may constantly find themselves distracted or addicted to their phones and may want to strengthen their mindfulness (sati) by attending to the Four Foundations of Mindfulness, or at least the first, which is "mindfulness of the body" unbroken for a whole day.
  • Another may think the biggest issue is lust, greediness, or selfish behavior, in which case sharing, sacrificing for others, helping, giving, or letting go might be wise.
In ancient India, "Buddhists" (disciples of the Enlightened One, the Buddha) would come to the monastery and spend the whole day and night (24 hours) there dressed all in white. This was the custom even in modern times in Theravada Buddhist countries.

Rather than sleeping, one might meditate the whole night or take just a few hours, say maybe four, of rest before returning home and resuming normal activities and the Five Precepts.

The Buddha highly praised "keeping the Sabbath," keeping one day -- in accordance with a phase of the moon visible to everyone looking up at the sky, particularly the full moon -- sacred, holy, or for intensive effort. Most of us will not become monastics even temporarily in this life, but we can have the benefits of monastic practice and quick progress even while leading a completely worldly life if we always remember the uposatha. - Dharma Editor Seven, Wisdom Quarterly 2025

A Lifetime of Positive ET Contact, Disclosure
– Nancy Thames

There are many kinds of interdimensional beings all around us all the time

Vril's Maria Orsic was also contacted
ET contactee Nancy Thames (who herself is interdimensional like them) talks with host Richard Syrett.

She is a former Department of Defense (U.S. DOD) employee and lifelong extraterrestrial (space alien) contactee of interdimensional ET beings who shares sixty years of profound experiences interacting with these entities (deva = "shining ones").

Thames asserts that her decades of encounters are not dreams but real interactions where she is a willing participant. She rejects the notion that she has ever been "abducted," instead describing her experiences as beneficial interactions governed by "soul contracts," or agreements made before her reincarnation on Earth.

Thames recounts early memories of being taken aboard crafts by hybrid Greys, noting a deep bond with one particular female Grey.

She distinguishes between different types of extraterrestrials while asserting that all share certain abilities.

"They are really all interdimensional beings," Thames clarifies. Other entities she has interacted with, often referred to as the "Elders," are benevolent and luminescent deva creatures that transcend physical forms.

"We are the only intelligent life"! - Yeah, right! Close your eyes and keep telling yourself that.
.
Their spacecrafts are living beings
When discussing their spacecrafts, Thames describes how she once found herself in a vast, sterile environment filled with different alien species.

"It's like you step into a whole new dimension," she says. On board the ship, Thames experienced what she called a kundalini awakening, surges in energy that opened her (chakras and) subconscious potential.

"They [do] that to help us remember our soul history," she reveals, while also mentioning that both she and her son have undergone this kind of awakening.

Thames goes on to explain the purpose of these ET interactions: "They are reaching out to humanity...[because they] want us to raise our frequency," she insists.

According to her, the most effective way to initiate this process is through meditation with intense focus.

"The best thing to do is to meditate with intention," Thames explains.

Nikola Tesla references the Buddha

Nikola Tesla's lost interview: Deep Space SECRETS (2024)
(Pep Talk) Sept. 13, 2024: Dive into the extraordinary world of Nikola Tesla in the video "Nikola Tesla's Lost Interview (100 Years Old): Deep Space SECRETS (2024)."

Nikola Tesla still communicates
This groundbreaking discovery reveals previously unseen footage of the legendary inventor discussing his visionary ideas about spirituality [speaking like Edgar Cayce during a reading or a shaman on entheogens], deep space, and the universe.

What secrets did Tesla uncover about electricity, energy, technology, and the cosmos that are still relevant today?

Whether one is a Tesla aficionado, a space enthusiast, or curious about the mysteries of the universe, this video is a must-watch.
Who was Tesla?
Wisdom Quarterly Wiki edit
"Tesla" is now a personal robot built by Elon Musk's company for home use and probably sex.
.
Nikola Tesla (July 10, 1856–Jan. 7, 1943) lived to be 86. He was a Serbian-American [3, 4] born in modern day Croatia. He was an experimental scientist and very much a mystic, who became famous as an inventor, engineer, and futurist.

He is well known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current (AC) electricity supply system [5].

Born and raised in the Austrian Empire, Tesla first studied engineering and physics in the 1870s without receiving a degree.

He then gained practical experience in the early 1880s working in telephony and at Continental Edison in the new electric power industry. In 1884, he immigrated to the United States, where he became a naturalized citizen.

He worked for a short time at the Edison Machine Works in New York City before he struck out on his own. With the help of partners to finance and market his inventions, Tesla set up laboratories and companies in New York to develop a range of electrical and mechanical devices.

His AC induction motor and related polyphase AC patents, licensed by Westinghouse Electric in 1888, earned him a considerable amount of money and became the cornerstone of the polyphase system, which that company eventually marketed.

Attempting to develop inventions he could patent and market, Tesla conducted a range of experiments with mechanical oscillators/generators, electrical discharge tubes, and early X-ray imaging. He also built a wirelessly controlled boat, one of the first ever exhibited.

Tesla became well known as an inventor and demonstrated his achievements to celebrities and wealthy patrons at his lab and was noted for his showmanship at public lectures.

Throughout the 1890s, Tesla pursued his visions for wireless lighting and worldwide wireless electric power distribution in his high-voltage, high-frequency power experiments in New York and Colorado Springs.

In 1893, he made pronouncements on the possibility of wireless communication with his devices. Tesla tried to put these ideas to practical use in his unfinished Wardenclyffe Tower project, an intercontinental wireless communication and power transmitter, but ran out of funding before he could complete it.

After Wardenclyffe, Tesla experimented with a series of inventions in the 1910s and 1920s with varying degrees of success. Having spent most of his money, Tesla lived in a series of New York hotels, leaving behind unpaid bills. He died in New York City in January 1943 [6].

Tesla's work fell into relative obscurity following his death, until 1960, when the General Conference on Weights and Measures named the International System of Units (SI) measurement of magnetic flux density the "tesla" in his honor.

There has been a resurgence in popular interest in Tesla since the 1990s [7].
Early home, now the Nikola Tesla Museum
  • Tesla's birth house (parish hall) was rebuilt in the church where his father served as an Eastern Orthodox priest in Smiljan, Croatia. The site was made into a museum about him [8].
I didn't get to be The Richest by morality
[When Tesla passed away in New York, the U.S. government confiscated his papers, effects, devices, and made them secret to benefit private interests or appropriate advanced technology with possible military applications for U.S. arsenals and secret laboratories, making Tesla's revelations the opposite of his intentions to benefit the world and every being in it.]

Elon Musk is the anti-Nikola Tesla making $$$.
Nikola Tesla was born into an ethnic Serb family in the village of Smiljan, within the Military Frontier, in the Austrian Empire (present-day Croatia).

Tesla's father, Milutin Tesla (1819–1879) [11], was a priest of the Eastern Orthodox Church [12, 13, 14, 15]. His father's brother Josif was a lecturer at a military academy who wrote several textbooks on mathematics [11].

Musk and Tesla could hardly be more different.
Tesla's mother, Georgina "Đuka" Mandić (1822–1892), whose father was also an Eastern Orthodox Church priest [16], had a talent for making home craft tools and mechanical appliances and the ability to memorize Serbian epic poems. She never received a formal education. Tesla credited his eidetic [photographic] memory and creative abilities to his mother's genetics and influence [17, 18].

Tesla was the fourth of five children. He had three sisters -- Milka, Angelina, and Marica -- and an older brother Dane, who was killed in a horse-riding accident when Tesla was six or seven [19].

In 1861, Tesla attended primary school in Smiljan where he studied German, arithmetic, and religion.

In 1862, the Tesla family moved to the nearby town of Gospić, where Tesla's father worked as parish priest. More
