Their dig uncovered evidence of 2,000-year-old olive trees and grapevines, suggesting the site had indeed once been used for agriculture [if not gardening].

It also provides a cyclical shape to the final chapter of the Christ [the Anointed One's] narrative, which begins with his arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane. So, as storytelling, this single sentence from the Gospel of John (the most recently written of the four canonical gospels, most scholars agree) has a substantial power to its brevity.

In Mosul, Iraq, the city museum and its collection of Assyrian art is slowly being restored with the help of the Louvre. The old minaret of the Al-Nouri Mosque, a national emblem, is also being restored. Thirty kilometers away, at the Syrian Catholic monastery of Mar Behnam, the mausoleum of a saint that was destroyed by ISIS has been rebuilt. Today, through this rediscovered heritage, the entire population of the region is finding its roots.

(The British Museum) Premiered Aug. 1, 2024: The Babylonian map of the world is the oldest map of the world, in the world. [In space they have older ones.] Written and inscribed on clay in Mesopotamia around 2,900-years-ago, it is, like so many cuneiform tablets, incomplete.

However, scholar Irving Finkel and a particularly gifted student of his, Edith Horsley, managed to locate a missing piece of the map, slot it back into the cuneiform tablet, and from there set us all on journey through the somewhat mythical landscape of Mesopotamia to find the final resting place of the ark.

And, yes, we mean that ark, as in the stolen story of Noah [appropriated from older cultures and flood myths, namely, the Sumerian Epic of Gilgamesh and Akkadian Atra-Hasis].

The Hebrews or ancestors of Judea heard it and reworked those details to be all about themselves, leaving out the roots of the history, plagiarizing a story and altering it to aggrandize a modern group. So "God" was not doing what we are told in the legend as we hear it. It's not even the same boat or vessel. But what other stories are there? For instance, there's a story called Genesis...the Gnostic version.
