KOAN: Solomon Cuts a Baby
(Burlsblog)
Two women (Hebrew, prostitutes), were living together and sleeping with their newborns. One rolled over hers and accidentally killed her dear baby.Instead of owning up to the tragedy, she did the unthinkable. She placed her dead child in the arms of the other and took her living child as her own. In the morning, when the mother awoke to feed her baby, she realized it was dead.
But examining it more closely, she realized this was not her son; she called out the other woman and demanded her baby. But the impostor mother denied that she had exchanged them, and she would not relinquish the living baby. They went before wise young Master Solomon -- who may or may not have been as wise in reality as he became in legend.
The story is a familiar legend inherited by the intrepid West through cultural osmosis from its contact with the wisdom of the East. Or perhaps it was the other way around, as certainly wisdom is always going both ways. But the East is ancient, the West young and impulsive. Aesop's Fables are taken from the Buddha's Jataka Tales (Rebirth Stories). Other biblical stories also have precedents in the Dharma. And rather than thinking that the historical Buddha is the originator of all good narratives, it is important to note that he by skillful means (upaya) made use of many popular tales and legends in the service of spreading the liberating Dharma. Pre-biblical and Old Testament Jewish sages as well as Jesus returning from India with a sense of mission would certainly have employed the same skillful means borrowing from ancient Sumerian (like Gilgamesh and the flood), Egyptian, Persian (Mithraic and Zoroastrian), and Vedic Brahminical Indian lore.
(GardenOfPraise.com)King Solomon's Cat dilemma
2 Chronicles 1.1-13 (BibleGateway.com)
The women argued back and forth in front of [Zen Master] Solomon, until finally he said, "Both of you say this live baby is yours. Someone bring me a sword."A sword was brought, and Solomon ordered, "Cut the baby in half! That way each of you can have part of him.
"Please don't kill my son!" the baby's mother screamed. "Your Majesty, I love him very much, but give him to her. Just don't kill him."
The other woman shouted, "Go ahead and cut him in half. Then neither of us will have the baby."
Solomon said, "Don't kill the baby." Then he pointed to the first woman, "She is his real mother. Give the baby to her."
Everyone in Israel was amazed when they heard how [wise] Solomon had made his decision. They realized that God had given him wisdom to judge fairly.
Dream Interpretation: Dear God...
At that time, there was no temple for worshiping the Lord, and everyone offered [bloody animal] sacrifices at the local shrines [just like the space aliens, titans and "gods," had commanded the brahmin priests of the Indus River Valley Civilization to do thousands of years before].
Young Solomon loved the Lord [a space entity who sent extraterrestrial "messengers," angels, from time to time and communicated with him telepathically and/or in dreams] and followed his father David's instructions. But Solomon also offered sacrifices and burned incense at the shrines. The most important shrine was in Gibeon, and Solomon had offered more than a 1,000 sacrifices on that altar.
One night while Solomon was in Gibeon, the Lord God [possibly plural] appeared to him in a dream and said, "Solomon, ask for anything you want, and I will give it to you."
Young Solomon answered: My father David, your servant, was honest and did what you commanded. You were always loyal to him, and you gave him a son who is now king. Lord God, I'm your servant, and you've made me king in my father's place.
But I'm very young and know so little about being a leader. And now I must rule your chosen people [and not worry about the ones you didn't choose whom we can just let go to h*ll in a handbasket like your servant Moses down a river, see if I care], even though there are too many of them to count.
Please make me wise and teach me the difference between right and wrong. Then I will know how to rule your people. If you don't, there is no way I could rule this great nation of yours.

Happy New Year! (Nowruz)
(netglimse.com)
The editors of Wisdom Quarterly have come to believe that the Buddha's mother, Maha Maya Devi, was from the vicinity of modern Iran long before there was either an Iran or even a Persia, and that his father, Suddhodana, and the Shakyas were from the vicinity of modern Bamiyan, Afghanistan -- much to the chagrin of our Nepalese friends and readers. These lands were at that time the frontiers of Greater India. And there was neither Islam nor Hinduism. There was, however, their forbears asuran Zoroastrianism and the remnants of Vedic (Indus River Valley Civilization) Brahmanism. Today these countries are classified as Eurasian Central Asia and the geopolitical Middle East. And then as now the akasha devas seem to have provided a calendar that made today New Year's Day (Nowrūz, نوروز, meaning "[The] New Day").
In coming installments we hope to establish that the reason the world does not know this is in no way an accident of history. Instead, vested interests keep the world in the dark. The asuras (titans) linger on and have some sway against the devas (shining ones). The Buddha was neither, but it was the devas and Sakka who sided with the Buddha.
And what is it the world does not know? The world does not generally know that Buddhism existed in Afghanistan 2,600+ years ago -- as the discovery of the great Afghan Buddhist monastic complex of Mes Aynak indicates -- at the very onset of the historical Buddha's dispensation (sasana).
It hardly seems reasonable that the Dharma made it to ancient Gandhara on the frontiers of India just as soon as it was being established in the major centers of Magadha, India, where the Buddha began delivering discourses or sutras.
It is not only the maverick historian, anthropologist, and archeologist Dr. Ranajit Pal who has brought this to our attention. And the historical fraud of a Jonesian history of India and Nepal was not only a British and German invention. The imperial Russians, Arab Muslims, and now military-industrial complex American forces have been participating in the cover up.
The Buddha-Dharma came West long ago. It traveled the Silk Route from or at least through modern Afghanistan to reach Europe and Israel. Jesus (St. Issa) came into contact with Buddhism and apparently was taught that he was a tulku (reincarnated lama) and a bodhisattva (one unselfishly striving to save others over many lives on one's way to perfection), possibly even Maitreya (a perfect Messiah). Jews were living in Kashmir even before Jesus came to live and study in India as Holger Kersten and others (Notovitch, Gruber, Abedananda, Clare-Prophet, etc.) aptly demonstrate. It is interesting that one of the Four Imponderables is the extent of a Buddha's influence. He not only achieved in his life the influence of a Universal Monarch (chakravartin) from seashore to seashore of what the kings of Indian "clan footholds" (janapadas) or "countries" thought of as "the known world." That was not Madras to Bombay but Vietnam to Palestine. The truth is muddled because imperfectly translated words are taken literally and for granted. For instance, a chakravartin is usually translated as a "world ruler" as if the "world" meant to them what it means to us. They did not consider India a "continent," as we do, but an island (dvipa) bounded by great seas. This "island" is so vast that it is even possible that it refers to Earth and the surrounding "sea" to interplanetary space. The Buddha was from the "Middle Country" and the "Roseapple Land" (Jambudvipa), which can refer to northern India, the subcontinent, the continent, the planet, or this portion of the galactic world-system. Similarly, where was India's "frontier"? No doubt what is today Afghanistan and old "Persia" was part of it. When Alexander the Great and the ancient Greeks established Indo-Greco arms of the Greek empire (called Bactria and other names), Buddhism was well known to the Greeks. But it traveled northwest toward Europe long before that -- and it made it to Europe, to the only indigenously Buddhist part of Europe, the topic of a coming installment on Kalmykia.
That northwest route of the Dharma is now called Central Asia -- loosely lumped together as "the Stans" all the way to what is left of the USSR or once mighty Russian empire and its ancient Russian Buddhism. The many ethnic tribes west of China and Tibet (Pashtuns, Uzbeks, Tajiks, Kalmyks, etc.) of and beyond the Hindu Kush mountain range met the Dharma, and they celebrate Nowruz. So we find it significant enough to observe it as well. Interestingly, the Caucuses (source of the word Caucasian) are technically part of the Himalayan range separating Asia and Europe.
The New Day 2012
NOWRUZ is celebrated and observed by Iranian peoples and the related cultural continent and has spread in many other parts of the world, including parts of Central Asia, Caucasus, South Asia, Northwestern China, the Crimea, and some groups in the Balkans.
Nowruz marks the first day of spring and the beginning of the year in Iranian calendar. It is celebrated on the day of the astronomical vernal equinox, which usually occurs on March 21 or the previous/following day depending on where it is observed.
As well as being a Zoroastrian holiday and having significance amongst the Zoroastrian ancestors of modern Iranians, the same time is celebrated in parts of the South Asian sub-continent as the new year. The moment the Sun crosses the celestial equator and equalizes night and day is calculated exactly every year and Iranian families gather together to observe the rituals.
Originally being a Zoroastrian festival, and the holiest of them all, Nowruz is believed to have been invented by [the titan] Zoroaster himself, although there is no clear date of origin. Since the Achaemenid era the official year has begun with the New Day when the Sun leaves the zodiac of Pisces and enters the zodiacal sign of Aries, signifying the Spring Equinox.
The Jewish festival of Purim is probably adopted from the Persian New Year (The Judaic tradition...Encyclopædia Britannica). It is also a holy day for Sufis, Ismailis, Alawites, Alevis, and adherents of the Bahá'í Faith. More

Ancient Aliens and the Third Reich (video)
Many of the difficult topics covered by Wisdom Quarterly are hard to see as tying together. But here is one documentary that ties most of them together in under 45 minutes.
- What does Buddhism have to do with celestial aliens (akasha devas and asuras), supernatural-modern technology, the real history of Earth, psychic powers and secret societies (such as The Vril Society), NAZIs, Aryans, Hitler, the Third Reich, America's MIC (Military-Industrial Complex), giants (titans), cryptids and extraterrestrials, Afghanistan, the Chinese, Tibet, Angkor Wat, mythology, or spiritual figures and the religions they founded (Jesus in India, Zoroaster the Asura, Mithra, the heavenly [space] beings who talked to Mohammed, Sakka/Indra, Thor and Nordic gods, Greek and Roman pantheons, Pagans and pre-Christian practices), and the wealth of human history contained in the Tripitaka, Vedas, Sumerian texts, and Egyptian works? It is enmeshed in human history and prehistory (from the time of former buddhas named by the Buddha).
Mohenjo-Daro was an Indus Valley super civilization rivaling Egypt, once part of India, now annexed in the recent formation of Pakistan. Together with Harrapa, nuclear power, spacecraft (as recorded in the Vimana Shastra), and communication with extraterrestrials were common.Whether this was propaganda -- with a version of ancient Buddhism appropriated from the Theosophists such as Blavatsky and Olcott -- or our misreading of history, we are being lied to about it. The NAZIs are not long gone and done with. "Iran" is what Aryan means and, indeed, the now defunct Persian empire was very powerful.
A literal red-haired giant named Zoroaster (Zarathustra) -- who founded a religion called Zoroastrianism linked to the proto-Christian Mithraism of the Roman empire -- came out of it and was not friendly to the Buddhism spreading throughout Central Asia along the Silk Route through Afghanistan and other outposts.
The ancient Indians, inheritors of the much older Indus River Valley Civilization (Mohenjo-Daro and Harrapa) with its Vedas (and frank discussions of aliens and UFOs, known as asuras, devas and vimanas).
What we so fear about Hitler, the NAZIs, the Vril, and the Third Reich was not lost. It was taken over by the US and its military-industrial complex that keeps all of this secret and verboten in mainstream science no matter what history, testimonies, or modern finds reveal.
Who were the pre-European Aryans?
(Bikini1212)
Iran is famous for the ancient Aryan religion based on the fabled figure Zoroaster. "Iran" roughly means "Land of the Aryans." It was located next door to ancient Sumer, and just east of it was ancient India and its predecessor the Indus River Valley Civilization.
What many do NOT realize is that the giant Zoroaster's followers were in Asia BEFORE migrating to what we now call the geopolitical Middle East in the region of modern Iran. The Rig Vedas mention fair skinned, red haired deities.
There are hundreds of European Tocharian mummies found around Asia's famed Silk Road. Here we find clear evidence of the Aryan Zoroaster's followers making their way from ancient India down into what we presently call Iran (ancient Persia).

Death from Above Comes from Below (HAARP)
The Judeo-Christian "God" (who sounds like a Zoroastrian asura, or titan, more than a benevolent creator of the cosmos) may not be to blame for earthquakes. But it seems some extraterrestrial titans (called "demons" in later Buddhist cosmology because of their ongoing war against devas from their new home base Earth) might well have provided the advanced technology to humans.
Such technology -- first channeled to Nikola Tesla, as he himself reported, from an extraterrestrial residing on Mars. (He himself is accused of being an ET from Venus, perhaps to mock his claim that he was literally receiving messages from Mars).
In any case, he was a great genius. And all of his work was preserved and has been developed and used in secret, while Alexander Graham Bell and others get all the credit. This technology includes "free energy" machines used by the shadow US government as well as the world government (as led by Germany and Britain), but that is another story altogether. HAARP is an array of antennae several nations possess and use to manipulate weather and wage war in secret, calling its effects "natural disasters." A synonymous phrase for a "natural disaster" is an "act of God."
"God" (Brahma, Ahura Mazda, Allah, YHWH, El, and the many "gods" of the so-called monotheistic Judeo-Christian Bible, Old and New Testaments) here never really means The GOD (Brahman, the ineffable, the reality behind the illusion, the famous "I am that I am").
It refers more to a Greek demigods/Roman pantheon/Indian devas understanding of advanced extraterrestrials who visit, mate with, experiment on, evolve (genetically manipulate), educate, and rule through divine rite of hybrid humans. These "gods" (akasha devas, nagas, and asuras) and their messenger "angels" (gandharvas) might indeed "punish" and preserve, help and harm humanity.
One would not think that Buddhism or older Vedic Brahmanism (now surviving under the general name "Hinduism") supports Zoroastrian, Egyptian, Sumerian, and Judeo-Christian mythologies -- but it does. Fortunately, it gives much fuller and sensible explanations for what many other traditions have wrought into fragments and nonsense filler.

"The Boy [Sid]" - Early Life of the Buddha (film)

The Boy Mir - a decade in Bamiyan, Afghanistan, possibly the real Kapilavastu
"Surprising, fascinating and fulfilling…An unforgettable portrait of a boy and a country" - Ron Sutton, IDA Documentary Magazine
Where was the Buddha Siddhartha Gautama from? He was from Kapilavastu. Where is that? No one knows for sure, or they may know but modern politics gets in the way of saying.
What race was he? He was Shakyan. What is that? He lived on the northwestern frontier of ancient India. What race would that be today? No one knows for sure, or they perfectly well know but modern politics gets in the way of saying.
(This detail is important because, as Wisdom Quarterly has pointed out elsewhere, it mirrors or perhaps was the origin of the mythology of the Salabhanjika, the tree beautiful tree nymph of Indian lore). Siddhartha grew up in relative splendor, being prepared to rule the territory of Kapilavastu. He had a white pony named Kanthaka. He was married to his cousin Yasodhara at 16. He liked sports -- archery, horseback riding, and his studies, enjoying the equivalent of a college education fit for a future king, which taught him all the arts, sciences, and agrarian business skills he would need to govern. He had blue eyes, wavy black hair, was very handsome and relatively tall. He had fair skin, like all the Shakyans, which he described as "golden." Race then is not as it is now. At that time there were three colors of skin: black, brown, and golden.
Race -- a controversial topic today -- has always been a socially constructed category, not the naturally occurring one we imagine. UC Berkeley professor Tim White, like other scientists, dismisses "race" as a useless category that does not signify anything scientifically useful. It is so unreliable a measure -- particularly in terms of phenotypes but also nearly useless in terms of genotypes -- that physical anthropology has no use for it. Dr. White was one of the co-discoverers of humanity's African ancestor Lucy.
Of course, we do consider race extremely important. So cultural anthropology has to recognize it. But what the field recognizes is that various human groups use it differently. Most people on Earth today do not hold the American view of four major races, which are clear and distinct (by color, geographical origin, and of course temperament and innate capacity for such things as intelligence and fitness to rule over others).
Brazil and Cuba are excellent examples of cultures that go based on personal appearance. It is not that one in other parts of the world is presumed to be of one "race" until all the information is gathered. One is that race and will continue to be in spite of other mitigating information. Race is fluid, but for us it is very stiff. In the past we Americans were more racist than we are now. Any trace of another race in the bloodline made one that other race.
So being a tall, Nordic blond with 1/16th "Negro" (essentially, non-white since Negroes were not limited to Africans) made one black). We were borderline on the subject of racial "purity," and pedigree was imperative. That is not to say that we were alone in this. Bloodlines have always meant a great deal to the ruling class (royals), as our closeted German forbears attest.

Was the Buddha Caucasian?
What does it mean to be Caucasian? It literally means descended from the peoples of the Caucuses mountain region -- an extraordinary region. It is extraordinary partly because it is part of the Himalayan range but mostly because it separates Asia from Europe.
From an American perspective, many of those people would seem to be white. But clearly their faces have Asiatic features. Their skin, hair, and eye color might get them labelled white, but their heritage and geographical origin would do to the Buddha what was done to Christ: It makes them geopolitically Middle Eastern. (Thanks to the CIA definition of the changing political climate).
BBC documentary: Jesus was Buddhist monk
There are fascinating theories that Jesus and his mysterious forbears were pharoahs. (See Jesus in the House of the Pharoahs, Jesus Last of the Pharoahs). That is certainly not the history we are taught in Sunday School, but then history is a socially-constructed phenomenon, not a hard science. Our favorite theory -- which meets history's gold standard, written documentation -- is that Jesus (called Issa in India and the Islamic world) was a Buddhist monk as suggested by the British Broadcasting Corporation, hardly a biased, Buddhist news source.
Imagine the implications -- the creator of the universe is Black, Buddhist, and ever so compassionate. Of course, these are just human-historical constructs that can be deconstructed. Would humans really bend history to suit themselves? Of course we would. It has been happening to Christianity since at least the Roman Empire got its hands on the Christian Church and its official history-keeping duties. The truth never stood a chance of becoming common knowledge.
- Why bring up Jesus? He is regarded as the most famous human who ever lived. The Buddha lived at least five centuries earlier, and has lived on in history five centuries longer. The Buddha was for much of that time the most important human who ever lived. He is called the Prince of Peace and the Light of Asia, but this disguises how influential he was to the Caucasus region of Central Asia. Christians, not to be outdone, call Jesus the Prince of Peace and the Light of the World. If Jesus had studied Buddhism and been ordained a monk in Hemis Gompa, Ladakh, India/Tibet, as is documented in writing by the Buddhist monks in that region, might his teacher not be deserving of more recognition? Long before either the Buddha or the Christ, surely Mithra (another Central Asian figure) was the most famous human who ever lived. And eventually Mohammed will be. If a popularity contest were the equivalent of truth, we vote for another Middle Easterner Gilgamesh/Bilgames (of Sumeria). The shamans, the pharoahs, Krishna, the whole Adamic "race" of humans has had its "most important human" along with its "gods" (devas, asuras, and brahmas). And while there was probably no actual Adam or Eve (and let's not forget Lilith), it's easier to talk about the group through the figurehead of a single man and woman, which has the largely ignored benefit of making us all brothers and sisters, just as Lucy makes us all cousins.
What a place to be from!
If Buddhism continues to enjoy the same widespread influence and adoption in the West that was seen in the East, he too will almost certainly be converted into a "white" man.
Ivolginsky Datsan Siberian Buddhist temple, Russia (sacred-destinations.com)Anna Reid traveled the length and breadth of Siberia -- 1/12th of the world’s land surface, larger than the United States and Western Europe combined -- to tell the story of its people. Drawing on sources ranging from folktales to KGB reports, and on interviews with shamans and Buddhist monks [shramans] in The Shaman’s Coat, a unique and intrepid travel chronicle.
Ancient Persia (now Iran, which means Aryan), Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan are just a few of the ancient outposts the Dharma reached and influenced, creating the strangest and nicest of all Islamic hybrids, Sufism. But the USSR failed to win its second most important conquest -- the incorporation of Afghanistan -- assuming its most important conquest would have been to conquer the West. But, surely, Russia is the "West," too? Russians are "white," except for the formerly Central Asian colonies that reverted to nonwhite status.
Archeology, history, and Buddhist texts suggest the Buddha was Afghani. Of course, there was no such thing as "Afghanistan." And centuries later when Islamic and Arabian hordes conquered the area, the Dharma that once prospered and meant so much all along the Silk Route was rubbed out of the fabric of daily life. Are Middle Easterners white? They certainly look like it. But many in Southern Europe have a hard time getting into the exclusive club. Were ancients Greeks white? Was Nefertiti white? "White" has no hard and fast meaning. So the answer is, They are white when it suits the powers that be to call them white in recognition of their magnificent accomplishments.
Ancient Greece -- such as the Indo-Greek empire of Bactria (Balkh) -- was Buddhist before Buddhism caught on in China. But certainly Greece is the fount of the West? Is it only a coincidence that the ancient land of the Shakyans (also spelled Sakyans) is on the map as Sakala, Sakae, and Sakastan (modern Afghanistan, nowhere near Nepal).
Kapisa, Kapilavastu? Sakala, Sakyan territory? Sakastan, the extent of Sakyan territory? Sakae reaching toward Tajikistan? Were the Sakas the Sakyas (pronounced Shakyas) gone unrecognized because British history by Fuhrer says the Sakyas lived in Nepal? The Shakyan clan's rule ended with the conquest of the Buddha's extended family who remained in the world by an angry relative retaliating after finding out he was half-slave, half-Sakyan. The Buddha explained that even his interventions were not enough to overcome the force of a rare instance of collective karma ripening for his father's clan.Whites and Europeans consider Greece the fountainhead of science, art, empire. Buddhist contributions to our history have not been credited to the Buddha, but to Greek philosophers influenced by Indian travelers and the Dharma that reinvigorated greater India after the ancient Vedic civilizations had fallen into obscurity.
Aryan Invasion theories are another topic entirely, but suffice it to say that who the original Aryans were would surprise many. They were not Nordic tribes coming down from Germany and Austria to teach the subcontinent enlightenment and advanced technology 5,000 years ago as Hitler, Goebbels, and Dr. Mengele might have suggested. (Nazis were adept at spin doctoring, taking parts of spiritualism and mysticism, namely Blavatsky's and the Theosophists, and fashioning them to meet their own ends. It is tantalizing to realize that the Nazis did not lose WW II, as is commonly suggested in the new propaganda that supplanted the old.
The NAZI mentality is alive and well in many of the countries that welcomed war criminals to secretly exploit their scientific advancements in clandestine services, intercontinental rocket technology, the development of nuclear bombs, and space travel. Not only America's now defunct OSS, but NASA, the CIA, Pentagon, Moussad, ISI, KGB, and above all the British Mi6 (SIS), who seem to have been secretly ruling the world since inheriting the empire from Rome.
This is strange because now Afghanistan is America's Afghanistan, having lasted longer and cost so much that our society may never recover -- unless the incredible conclusions of the following report are true:
It is hard to say what makes Afghanistan so important -- but the fact that it is important, strategic, and intractable is explained by Fitzgerald & Gould (invisblehistory.com). A more remarkable tale comes from the arena of exopolitics and an alleged vimana (ancient Indian spacecraft) caught in a "time well" there.
Why else would the world's leaders go into the Afghan war zone? But is the world ready for "disclosure" about ancient astronauts (Indian devas and Zoroastrian asuras), extraterrestrial weapons systems, and the real history of the planet our rulers have held back? The war in heaven (space) rages on, as explained by Steven Quayle on Coast to Coast.
In conclusion, the Buddha was Central Asian, a frontier Indian. For ancient India was not actually a country with certain borders. It was a collection of 16 maha-janapadas ("great footholds of the tribes" or "territories of powerful family clans"). Kapilavastu was in Afghanistan, in the confluence of Caucasian and South Asian cultures.
Until recently, Pakistan was Gandhara, India. The exiting British made it so. They also drew a "zero line" (Durand) separating what we call Afghanistan from what we now call India, whose borders remain in dispute. Neither China, nor Pakistan, nor Tajikistan (prompted byfasura the Kremlin) are ready to yield to India, which was once a superpower.

The Boy Who Played on the Buddhas of Bamiyan
This may seem odd, but Siddhartha was fair (golden), blue eyed, tall, and came from the west to India proper, where he became the Buddha in Bihar state and began teaching near Varanasi. The oldest Buddhist monastery discovered to date is 2,600-year-old Mes Aynak, Afghanistan, where so many of his family members (the Shakyans) might have gone to practice after ordaining. The Buddha's father, King Suddhodana, gained faith when the Buddha visited seven years after leaving and, close to his death, became enlightened with the Buddha's help. His mother, Maha Prajapati Gotami, became the first Buddhist nun in history and also became enlightened. Many Shakyans such as Yasodhara (his wife), Rahula (his son), Ananda, Nanda, Sundari Nanda, Devadatta (his half-siblings often called cousins), Anuruddha, Kimbila... followed the Buddha and the Dharma and became part of the Sangha.
In this German film, a family struggles for survival amid the rubble of the Buddha statues of Bamiyan -- after their destruction by the CIA-backed Mujahadeen. Who were the Mujahadeen? Afghan tribal warlords? No, there were no such thing. Afghan and Pashtun culture have no history of such things -- even though that is the propaganda we are fed daily to justify America's most expensive, longest running, and most opaque war.
The Mujahadeen -- as well as Al Qaeda and the CIA's own Osama bin Laden -- were outsiders, criminals, released convicts (brought in from neighboring Islamic countries such as Pakistan) who were being encouraged to fight Russia in defense of Afghanistan with the secret help and military backing of the United States. See InvisibleHistory.com for the sordid details by American scholars Fitzgerald & Gould. The reasons we are given in defense of endless war are psy-ops and propaganda. Unfortunately, the disinformation campaigns infect Hollywood, which goes on to produce modern propaganda films like "Charlie Wilson's War" featuring Tom Hanks. Blame the mess on a Texas Congressman. Blame it on a 6' 6" tall asuran billionaire cave-dwelling warlord and 9/11 mastermind. Blame anyone but our CIA or Pentagon.
But it all ties together the inscrutable range of topics regularly covered by Wisdom Quarterly, which must strike some readers as odd:
Afghanistan, Buddhism, extraterrestrials (and UFOs), giants or "titans," CIA abuses, 1984, US propaganda, war, Islam, Zoroastrianism, our military-industrial complex, Osama bin Laden, the 9/11 false flag operation, forbidden archeology, and endless government deception. It matters why our government (both elected and secret) actually fights wars as one of the most violent empires trying to rule the planet. Peace is hardly sustainable in the midst of deception. But when truth is found then peace comes quite naturally.
