Massive block: natural, manmade, ETs?

I found colossal, impossible geometry with Desert Drifter
(thePOVchannel) Sept. 19, 2024: An incredible coincidence resulted in Desert Drifter and I standing atop a mysterious and gargantuan block (stone cut cube) in the middle of a forest. This cube has many secrets, but one stands out above everything else. The history of this block is truly puzzling. Had I not seen it with my own two eyes, I would not believe it to be real.

Jewish Canaanites? Horrific Gods of Israel

Tony4You, 8/9/23; Sheldon S., Seth Auberon, Shauna Schwartz (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
Who's to say who's the God, yeah? You hear me? You want me to show you my power?

Moloch Horrific Canaanite Gods: Ancient Religion Explained
(Tony4You) The old gods of the semitic religions have always been fascinating because of their brutality and disturbing practices. It seemed like all of ancient Israel's neighbors left a lot to be desired.

Devils worshipped as gods
From human sacrifice to much more sensual duties of the priestesses (like temple prostitution), the surrounding blasphemous lands had a lot to learn from.

The dark deity Moloch, god of sacrifice and tyranny, whose rituals led to the deaths of thousands across history from the region of Carthage.

Asherah, wife of El (God or gods) and the goddess of fertility and holy spaces, also potentially the wife of Yahweh (YHWH) himself and exploiter of all that makes love pure.

  • 1:11 Moloch
  • 6:33 Asherah (God's wife)
  • 12:33 Outro
This is somewhat of a departure from the average Tony4you video as it does not have anything to do with video games, but the hope is the lore, history, and ancient knowledge gathered in this video will be entertaining all the same.

Biblical stories have always been fascinating and the savage Old Testament depictions of weird angels and vile demons are one subject some never tire of researching.

(MV) Canaanites were Israelites. There was no Exodus w/Dr. Joel Baden

From the most horrible of demons worshipped as gods to the temptation and downfall of even the most mighty and holy of men, Bible stories explained through the knowledge we can put together throughout history might change someone's life.

Ancient Israel and ancient Canaan have a lot to learn from each other after all. Every culture has its own take on angels, demons, spirits, and ghosts.

From across the plane(t) these spiritual entities cover every topic and domain one could possibly think of. Of all of the cultures one can study, however, there is one that stands out as particularly ugly, brutal, debased, and horrific: Israel and the ancient Canaanites of around 200 BC.

They had many stories told of them throughout historical and religious texts. They range greatly in their topic, but what all records of these people tell of is the unmatched horror of their gods and religion.

From carnal depravity to child sacrifice, the gods and people of the region were a waking nightmare for all to see.

Let’s go over just a few of this region's polytheistic gods that struck fear and reverence in all who witnessed their horrible rituals to the horrific gods of Canaan.

Man turns into body-modification alien (video)

KingofwierdCassandra Yorgey, Exemplore/MSN, 2/6/23; edited, expanded by Wisdom Quarterly
Look, I chopped off my fingers to be more "alien"! Isn't it cool? Soon they'll take me up!

Man undergoes extreme body modification to turn “alien”
Let's make out, KOW!
A body modification "enthusiast" says chopping off two of his fingers made him feel "complete." [Who are you to judge?]

He believes this is an “evolution project” to become less human and more alien, and he claims he’s less than halfway done. [He's 46% there and a nut. We'll let common sense be the judge.]

Madonna? (MSN)
He began is bod-mod journey at the age of 27, when he looked like the sort of large-muscled hunk that TV shows lead us to believe we will meet if we just buy a gym membership in January.

Tell me I'm still beautiful! Tell me!!!
He had a nose ring and pierced ears, but little by little he pushed the boundaries far past the predictable or expected.

He cut off his nose, ears, upper lip, and two of his fingers; he split his tongue; he dyed his teeth purple, cut a hole in the bottom of his lip, and added implants to various parts of his body such as a raised spiral around his forearm under his skin.

He claims all of these changes have boosted his "self-confidence." [When the aliens land and round everybody up, they'll give me a higher position than the other prisoners, right King of Wierd?]

Please like me! Please! I'll hire an airbrush artist to make me look human again! Please!!
.
When asked what’s next, he says he’s ready to “take the leap” with leg amputation along with cutting off two more fingers. [You know there's a gal out there who loves it, gets it, and wants a relationship with KOW. She's probably champing at the bit just reading this. Yes, "champing," not "chomping." Look it up.]

While these changes certainly achieve the desired visual effect, none of these modifications will be passed on to offspring genetically, making it a misnomer to refer to it as any kind of “evolution.” [He could just take chemical drugs and harm his DNA and possibly pass that damage on.]

Some companies are attempting to make genetically-viable new species capable of reproduction through gene modification, although human testing would be wildly irresponsible at this point [unless done in secret at US and Chinese labs, as is certainly being done thanks to the CIA, DARPA, and similar secret police and spy agencies].

The company [named Colossal] intends to try and resurrect extinct species such as the dodo bird, Tasmanian tiger (thylacine), and Dumbo the furry elephant (woolly mammoth). More:
@kingofwierd #duet with @thefeedski this guy is doing all this stuff to try to make himself look like an alien. let me know what you guys think about this. maybe he really is an alien and he's just trying to get back to his roots. who knows. I haven't looked into it much but this is kind of bizarre. I hope you enjoy the video. #alien #aliens #ufo #wearenotalone #conspiracy ♬ original sound - TheFeedski

Karma of Body/Behavior Modification (sutra)

Look at my white dog, Babe - I see! He's so cute! - Want to touch it? - NO, no, I'm good.

Introduction
(Bhikkhu Khantipalo)
I shapeshift into a monster (WWMT)
There were some strange people around in the Buddha's days believing some strange things — but that is just like our time when people hold the oddest and most unbalanced ideas.

In this sutra we meet some people who believed that by imitating animals they would be find salvation (liberation, enlightenment, awakening, sparing themselves further rebirth so as to make an end of suffering in this very life).

Is lesbianism harmful karma? You can't ask that!
They're still with us, too. Belief is one thing, action another. While beliefs sometimes influence actions, for others beliefs are quite separate from what actions are taken. But the Buddha says all intentional actions (volitions, motivated deeds) -- whether manifesting as mere thoughts, turning into speech, or bodily acts -- however expressed, are karma and lead the doer to experience results of these actions sooner or later.

In this discourse the Buddha classifies karma into four groups:
  1. dark with a dark results
  2. bright with a bright results
  3. dark and bright with a dark and bright results
  4. neither dark nor bright with a neither dark nor bright results.
Madonna Monster at the Grammys (NYPost)
Dark (unskillful, harmful, bad) karma does not [when it finally comes to fruition] give a bright (happy) results, nor does bright (beneficial) karma lead to dark (miserable) results.

Karma can be mixed, where an action is willed and done impelled by a variety of motives, some good, some bad. A kind of karma also exists that gives up attachment to and interest in the other three and therefore leads beyond the range of karma.
SUTRA: "The Dog-Duty Ascetic"
I want a blind dog because I can't see.
1. Thus have I heard. On one occasion the Blessed One [the Buddha] was living in the Koliyan country, there in a town of the Koliyans called Haliddavasana.

2. Then Punna, a Koliyan and an ox-duty ascetic, and also Seniya a naked dog-duty ascetic, went to the Blessed One, and Punna the ox-duty ascetic paid homage to the Blessed One and sat down respectfully to one side, while Seniya the naked dog-duty ascetic exchanged greetings with the Blessed One and, when the courteous and amiable talk was finished, sat down to one side curled up like a dog.

When Punna the ox-duty ascetic sat down, he asked the Blessed One: "Venerable sir, this naked dog-duty ascetic Seniya does what is hard to do: He eats his food when it is thrown on the ground. That dog-duty has long been taken up and practiced by him. What will be his [karmic] destination? What will be his future course [of rebirth as a result of this habit]?" [1]

"Enough, Punna, let it be. Do not ask that."

[But a second and third time Punna asked again.]

"Well, Punna, since I cannot persuade you when I say, 'Enough, Punna, let it be. Do not ask that,' I shall answer.

3. "Here [within this Teaching], Punna, someone develops the dog duty fully and unreservedly. One develops the dog habit fully and unreservedly. One develops the dog mind fully and unreservedly. One develops dog behavior fully and reservedly.

Having done that [having willed and carried out this karma], on the dissolution of the body, after death, one reappears in the company of dogs. But if one's view is such as this: 'By this virtue or duty or asceticism or religious life I shall become a (great) shining one or some (lesser) shining one,' that is wrong view in his case.

I thought we'd be reborn as oxen. - Shut up, Punna.
Now there are two destinations for one with wrong view, I say -- hell or the animal womb. So, Punna, if his dog duty is perfected, it will lead him to the company of dogs. If it is not, it will lead him to hell."

4. When this was said, Seniya the naked dog-duty ascetic wept and shed tears. Then the Blessed One said to Punna, the Koliyan and ox-duty ascetic:

"Punna, I could not persuade you when I said, 'Enough Punna, let it be. Do not ask that.'"

"Venerable sir, I am not weeping that the Blessed One has spoken thus. This dog duty has long been taken up and practiced by me. Venerable sir, there is this Punna, a son of the Koliyans and an ox duty ascetic: that ox-duty has long been taken up and practiced by him. What will be his destination? What will be his future course [of rebirth]?"

"Enough, Seniya, let it be. Do not ask that." [But a second and third time Seniya asked.]

"Well, Seniya, since I cannot persuade you when I say, 'Enough, Seniya, let it be. Do not ask that,' I shall therefore answer you." More

  • small animal veterinarian, vegan advocate
Zoroastrianism priest or camel driver (Tang Dynasty)
Dr. Armaiti May, a graduate of the University of California at Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, worked at an emergency dog and cat hospital then trained in veterinary acupuncture through the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine.

She has served on the Board of Directors for RedRover, an animal organization that brings animals out of crisis and into care, and is president of Vegan Toastmasters, which empowers vegans to speak effectively on behalf of animals. She is launching a non-profit organization called the Veterinary Association for the Protection of Animals (“VAPA”) to educate the veterinary profession about the benefits of veganism and support humane teaching methods in veterinary surgical training.

ABOUT: VAPA (vapavets.org) is an online community and an advocacy group. Its members are united around a common goal -- providing the best care to the animals of this earth with the same level of love and respect as we offer one another.

VAPA is one of many groups that is collectively evolving humankind's understanding of humane advancements in veterinary medicine, animal wellness, and domestic care. There is now a consensus that humane practices are more cost-effective and scientifically sound.

Some of its primary organizational goals are to help end the requirement for cruel and redundant surgeries in veterinary medicine education while advocating for humane alternatives any time the well-being of an animal is at risk.

Ahura Mazda, the Wise Lord (or Asura)
ABOUT
: Zoroastrianism is an Iranian (Aryan) religion and one of the world's oldest organized faiths, based on the teachings of the prophet Zoroaster (Zarathustra). It innovated a dualistic cosmology of good and evil within the framework of a monotheistic ontology and an eschatology that predicts the ultimate conquest of evil by good.

The religion states that active and ethical participation in life through good deeds [karma] formed from good thoughts and good words is necessary to ensure happiness and to keep chaos at bay.

Zoroastrians believe that there is one universal, transcendent, all-good, and uncreated supreme creator deity called Ahura Mazda or the "Wise Lord." [Who from a Buddhist perspective, some suggest, may be an Asura or Titan.]

Please don't ask him to kill me. I don't want to die
Historically, the unique features of Zoroastrianism -- its monotheism, messianism (waiting for Godot, the Maitreya, the Messiah), vegetarianism, belief in freewill and judgement after death, its conception of heaven, hell, angels, and demons, among other concepts -- may have influenced other religious and philosophical systems, including the Abrahamic religions (Christianity, Islam, and Judaism) and Gnosticism, Mahayana Buddhism, and Greek philosophy.

With roots dating back to the 2nd millennium BCE, Zoroastrianism enters recorded history around the middle of the 6th century BCE (around the time of the Buddha or the Axial Age). It served as the state religion of the ancient Iranian [Persian] empires for more than a millennium (approximately from 600 BCE to 650 CE) but declined onwards as a direct result of the Arab-Muslim conquest of Persia (633–654 CE), which led to the large-scale persecution of the Zoroastrian people.

Recent estimates place the current number of Zoroastrians in the world at around 110,000–120,000 at most, many of them in India where they are known as the Parsis.
The Faravahar is an ancient symbol of the Zoroastrian faith. It depicts a bearded man with one hand reaching forward. He stands above a pair of wings that are outstretched from a circle representing eternity.

It is represented on the Compassion Consortium wheel of interfaith symbols on the home page and also attached as an image to this event announcement. COMPASSION CONSORTIUM NOVEMBER 27 SERVICE-DR. ARMAITI MAY, VEGAN/DVM/ZOROASTRIAN, Sun, Nov 27, 2022, 1:00 PM | Meetup

Trump and the anger-eating demon

Pat Macpherson, Dhr. Seven, Crystal Quintero, Wisdom Quarterly
At home with the Mango Moron: "Whatcha mad at now, Dad?" - "STFU, J-Boy!" - What, what did you call me? - "Jared-Boy, you stupid J*w. Go bring Ivanka in here." - "More incest?" - "Rrr!" (rense)
.
He works for me, so I'll never go hungry.
There is a kind of "demon" (yakkha, rakshasa, asura, preta, naraka, naga) that devours angry aimed at it, is energized by, feeds on it, craves it and is nourished by it. What if a "devil" were overlooking Don John Trump's shoulder delighting in his fury, rage, and fumes? It could by son-in-law Jared Kushner, Steve Bannon, Dick Cheney, Satan, Micky Pence, anyone even Trump's alter-ego. Who fuels others' anger to bask in the vitriol?

Rahu: "Daemonic Buddhism" in Tibet

Cameron Bailey, MA (Florida State U); Ashley Wells, Pat Macpherson (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
A Tibetan bhavacakra or "Wheel of Existence" symbolic of cycling in samsara (wiki)
.
This is a profile of the Tibetan Buddhist protector deity Rahula or Rahu (Tibetan Khyab 'jug chen po), particularly the ritual magic and mythic complex that surrounds this deity's cult.

Rahula, however, is a case study to make a larger theoretical point, namely, that the cult of Rahula, as it developed in Tibet, was part of a broader Buddhist campaign to demonize the landscape of [Bon shamanic, pre-Buddhist] Tibet for missionary activity and political purposes, in what might be called the "mandalization" of Tibet.

While this took place in Tibet approximately from the 12th century through the 17th, Buddhism -- since its inception and as it developed in India -- rested firmly on the foundation of a cosmology teeming with spirits (Greek daimons, umbrella term for a host of different kinds of beings).

That is to say, conceptions of daemons like Rahu(la) have historically been intimately connected with Buddhist doctrine and philosophy.

Daimon cults are somehow an amalgamation or epiphenomenon in Buddhism. And Rahula as a case study represents a peculiar case of Tibetan elaboration on an Indian antecedent.

Rahu (eclipse maker) in Thailand (wiki)
Rahula, or Rahu in Indian conceptions, has been an abstract cosmological force synonymous with malignancy. While all the other planets (Sanskrit graha, Tibetan gza’) are deemed to be gods, Rahu alone is a demon [asura, titan, rakshasa, yaksha, ogres, "jealous gods"], in fact the only demon to have tasted the elixir of immortality.

Thus, he is regarded as a particularly fierce enemy of the gods (devas, angels, demigods, lit. "shining ones"). By the early second millennium in Tibet, Rahu had become a high-level Buddhist dharma protector (Dharmapala, specifically of the Dzogchen tradition of Nyingma philosophy) and an emanation of the Bodhisattva Mañjuśrī (or often Vajrapaṇi).

He has historically been heavily associated with destructive rites, war magic, and weather-making magic.

There are a number of specific questions concerning this deity to be answered:
  • How do the mythology and astrological functions of Rahu in Tibet relate to Indian antecedents?
  • Why might Buddhists have transformed a relatively minor figure from Hindu mythology in such a significant way?
  • Who were some of the Tibetan figures involved in valorizing this deity?
  • What larger social and political climate in Tibet might have contributed to this transformation?
  • How might Rahu's mythology relate to Buddhist philosophy, specifically Dzogchen thought?
The Raven and the Serpent: "The All-Pervading Rahula" Daemonic Buddhism in India and Tibet
INTRODUCTION
The present study of the deity Rahu(la), a well-known figure in Indian myth and cosmology who, in later traditions of Tibetan Buddhism, is developed into a major dharmapāla (“defender of the Buddhist teachings”).

Why was it that this originally non-Buddhist character, best known for his mythic cosmological role in causing solar and lunar eclipses, in a little over a thousand years after his first appearance in a datable written account (specifically the famous Mahābhārata epic of Hindu literature) becomes associated with the highest reaches of Tibetan philosophy.

Deities like Rahu, prevalent specifically in Indian and Tibetan Buddhism and generally across the Buddhist world, are in fact indispensable elements within the tradition, and around which fundamental Buddhist soteriological [study of doctrines of salvation] assumptions were built. More

I'm not a witch, just wise.
Unusual burials, three horses, a witch, and a giant warrior were unearthed in Germany.

Fifteen graves, said to date back to the Merovingian era which lasted from the 5th century to 751 ACE, has been found close to a cemetery in Theissen, Germany during work on a road.

Archaeologists working at the site found a woman who was buried with an iron bar in her chest, suggesting she may have been a witch. A giant warrior (Buddhist Titan, Judeo-Christian Nephilim, Steve Quayle's giant), and many horses, among other things.

Old warring "Europe" was an assortment of backward feudal kingdoms full of disease.
