Kṣitigarbha [Sanskrit क्षितिगर्भ, Chinese 地藏, Pinyin Dìzàng, Japanese 地蔵, Rōmaji Jizō, Korean 지장 (地藏), Romaja Jijang, Vietnamese Địa Tạng (地藏), Standard Tibetan ས་ཡི་སྙིང་པོ་, Wylie sa yi snying po] is a bodhisattva (being bent on supreme buddhahood) primarily revered in East Asian Buddhism and usually depicted as a Mahayana Buddhist monk.
His name may be translated as "Earth Treasury," "Earth Store," "Earth Matrix," or "Earth Womb."
Kṣitigarbha is known for a vow to take responsibility for the instruction of all beings in the six worlds [a condensed grouping of the 31 Planes of Existence the historical Buddha outlined] between the final nirvana of the historical Gautama Buddha and the future rise of Maitreya Buddha, as well as a vow not to achieve buddhahood until all hells are emptied.
He is therefore often regarded as the bodhisattva of hell-beings as well as the guardian of children and patron deity of deceased children and aborted fetuses in Japanese culture.
Usually depicted as a monk with either a halo or a crown bearing images of the Five Tathāgatas around his shaved head, he carries a staff to force open the gates of hell and a wish-fulfilling jewel to light up the darkness. More
STATUE: Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva (Jizō Bosatsu, 地蔵菩薩) is a Japanese wood and bronze statue of about 1175 in the late Heian period, which is now in the permanent Asian collection at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
The statue depicts Jizō (Sanskrit Ksitigarbha), who in Japanese Buddhism is the bodhisattva of the earth and is considered a protector of children and travelers.
He is also a rescuer of beings in all hells and is considered a guardian of spirits for children who have died before their parents [1].

Quayle contends that Nazi SS members, scientists, and soldiers escaped along with Adolf Hitler after WW II to create colonies in other parts of the world such as South America and Antarctica, where they continued their monstrous Nazi research.
According to an interview with a British wartime officer, in the summer of 1944, a team of 30 British scientists and commandos found an ancient tunnel in the Antarctic and went into it. But only two returned, and they described seeing "Nazis under the ice, polar men, and an under-the-ice city," Quayle recounts.
During Admiral Richard Byrd's Operation High Jump in the Antarctic, Nazis in flying saucers attacked the U.S. armada in 1947, he reports. Remote island research is the best kind of work
For more than three decades, Jo Ann Van Tilburg of UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) has studied the origins of the Moai along with Rapanui artist Cristián Arévalo Pakarati and other members of the local community.
They recruited soil scientist Sarah Sherwood, of the University of the South in Tennessee, to analyze the soil the base of two statues found peculiarly perched upright in the Rano Raraku quarry on the eastern part of the island, where most of the more than 1,000 Moai statues originated.
(The scientists suspect that work in the quarry began around A.D. 1455). The team analyzed soils at the foot of two of the structures, which archeologists believe were erected by or before A.D. 1510 to A.D. 1645, and found chemical evidence of common food crops.

The collapse of the population of Easter Island never happened, say scientists
How much proof of ET intervention is needed?
(WQ) Star People (space visitors) came down to help produce the culture we see on so-called "Easter Island" or Rapa Nui as it is actually named.
When Europeans arrived, they assumed the population had to bigger before and must have dwindled down to its size of a few thousand. A new study published in a peer-reviewed journal shows that that is a Western myth, a foolish assumption that never happened.
The Rapa Nui may have ruined their environment and chopped down all their trees. But that did not cause a collapse of its population. It's intensive gardening and farming techniques, which produce low yields in the best of seasons, were as they had always been.
So who built the Moai, the giant statues buried up to the chests? They obviously had help and no time or inclination to make such monoliths without prompting and help from somewhere out there off the isolated island.
In his book Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed, Jared Diamond suggested that cannibalism took place on Easter Island after the construction of the moai (stone head statues that are actually whole bodies) contributed to environmental degradation when extreme deforestation (ecocide) destabilized an already precarious ecosystem [33].
The archeological record shows that at the time of the initial settlement the island was home to many species of trees, including at least three species which grew up to 49 feet (15 meters) or more: Paschalococos (possibly the largest palm trees in the world at the time), Alphitonia zizyphoides, and Elaeocarpus rarotongensis.
At least six species of land birds were known to live on the island. A major factor that contributed to the extinction of multiple plant species was the introduction of the Polynesian rat.
Studies by paleobotanists have shown rats can dramatically affect the reproduction of vegetation in an ecosystem. In the case of Rapa Nui, recovered plant seed shells showed markings of being gnawed on by rats [3]. This version of the history speculates a high former population to the island that had already declined before Europeans arrived.
Barbara A. West wrote, "Sometime before the arrival of Europeans on Easter Island, the Rapanui experienced a tremendous upheaval in their social system brought about by a change in their island's ecology... By the time of European arrival in 1722, the island's population had dropped to 2,000–3,000 from a high of approximately 15,000 just a century earlier" [34].
By that time, 21 species of trees and all species of land birds became extinct through some combination of over-harvesting, over-hunting, rat predation, and climate change. The island was largely deforested, and it did not have any trees taller than 9.8 ft. (3 m).
Loss of large trees meant that residents were no longer able to build seaworthy vessels, significantly diminishing their fishing abilities. According to this version of the history, the trees were used as rollers to move the moai statues to their place of erection from the quarry at Rano Raraku [35].
Deforestation also caused erosion which caused a sharp decline in agricultural production [3]. This was exacerbated by the loss of land birds and the collapse in seabird populations as a source of food.
By the 18th century, islanders were largely sustained by farming, with domestic chickens as the primary source of protein [36].
Birdmen replace warriors

As the island became overpopulated and resources diminished, warriors known as matatoa gained more power and the Ancestor Cult ended, making way for the Bird Man Cult.
Beverly Haun wrote, "The concept of mana (power) invested in hereditary leaders was recast into the person of the birdman, apparently beginning circa 1540, and coinciding with the final vestiges of the moai period" [37].
This cult maintained that, although the ancestors still provided for their descendants, the medium through which the living could contact the dead was no longer statues, but human beings chosen through a competition.
The god responsible for creating humans, Makemake, played an important role in this process. Katherine Routledge, who systematically collected the island's traditions in her 1919 expedition [38], showed that the competitions for Bird Man (Rapa Nui tangata manu) started around 1760, after the arrival of the first Europeans, and ended in 1878, with the construction of the first church by Roman Catholic missionaries who formally arrived in 1864.
Petroglyphs representing Bird Men on Easter Island are the same as some in Hawaii, indicating that this concept was probably brought by the original settlers; only the competition itself was unique to Easter Island.
According to Diamond and Heyerdahl's version of the island's history, the huri mo'ai – "statue-toppling" – continued into the 1830s as a part of fierce internal wars.
By 1838, the only standing moai were on the slopes of Rano Raraku, in Hoa Hakananai'a in Orongo, and Ariki Paro in Ahu Te Pito Kura.
Criticism of the ecocide hypothesis
Diamond and West's version of the history is highly controversial. A study headed by Douglas Owsley published in 1994 asserted that there is little archeological evidence of pre-European societal collapse.
Bone pathology and osteometric data from islanders of that period clearly suggest few fatalities can be attributed directly to violence [39].
Research by Binghamton University anthropologists Robert DiNapoli and Carl Lipo in 2021 suggests that the island experienced steady population growth from its initial settlement until European contact in 1722.
The island never had more than a few thousand people prior to European contact, and their numbers were increasing rather than dwindling [40][41].
Several works that address or counter Diamond's claims in Collapse have been published.
In Ecological Catastrophe and Collapse -The Myth of "Ecocide" on Rapa Nui (Easter Island), Hunt and Lipo set out a claim-by-claim rebuttal to Diamond's claims.
This includes, among other things:
that deforestation began immediately, but the population grew while the forest declined as the land was converted to more productive farmland;
that the island's population grew continuously up to the arrival of Europeans, with the only clear decline starting in the period of 1750–1800;
that studies from other islands show clearly that Polynesian settlement without Polynesian rats is only associated with minimal forest loss while the arrival of rats without human settlement is devastating to forest populations;
only species favored by the rats for consumption were lost, not for example the native Sophora toromiro;
that the island's drier, less predictable climate made it inherently more vulnerable to deforestation than other Polynesian islands; and that the population declines on Rapa Nui can be well attributed to the very mechanism described by Diamond in another of his books, Guns, Germs and Steel -- the devastating impact of introduced diseases, raids, slavery, and exploitation on indigenous populations [42].
In another work, Hunt and Lipo discuss more evidence against the ecocide hypothesis. In addition to focusing on the settlement chronology, they note that the island has an abnormally low amount of evidence of warfare compared to other Polynesian islands, only relatively small-scale intergroup conflict.
There are no fortifications, and the attributed obsidian mata'a "weapons" show rather evidence of having been used in agriculture, and indeed, match up with agricultural tools long recognized among artifacts of other Polynesian peoples [43]. More

Monkeys are fun-loving and inquisitive mammals
Astonishing photographs of a 90-foot statue of the Hindu God Lord Hanuman — the third largest statue in the U.S.A. — have been obtained by Newsweek, following the unveiling ceremony in Texas.
The monument, known as the Statue of Union, stands at the Sri Ashta Lakshmi Temple in Sugar Land, Texas. Lord Hanuman is depicted as human, but with the head and tail of a monkey, as is customary.
The statue is holding both hands palm forward (mudra) and the end of the tail is twisted above the head, creating a halo effect.
Hanuman is a Hindu god known for his power, courage, and selfless service. He is also a symbol of power and celibacy.
The statue's unveiling on Sunday marks rapidly changing religious demographics in the U.S., with surveys showing a decline in the proportion of Americans who identify as Christian and a rise in those who say they are "nothing in particular" (the NONEs) or belong to religions which are followed by a minority in the U.S.

The Sanskrit word pratiṣṭhā, which in general usage means "placement" of a murti(embodied solid object), is translated by Apte as "the consecration of a vessel or dwelling" [3].
The adjective pratiṣṭha means "installed" [4]. Prana means "life force, breath, spirit." The phrase Prana Pratishtha is a ritual that means "placing the breath-of-life into the image to establish it" [WQ] or "bringing life to the temple" [2].
It is also referred to as murti sthapana (image placement inside the temple). Traditionally, this was the step when the eye of the murti was sculpted open [2], inside the inner sanctuary (garbhagriha, the Purusha space) of a Hindu temple.
This ritual typically involves a devotional ritual (puja) and the chanting of Sanskrit mantras as the deity is moved from outside into the center place.
It includes inviting the deity to become a resident guest of the temple, bathing and cleansing it, similar to welcoming a revered guest after a long journey.
This is followed by dressing and seating the deity in a place of comfort, with the image's face oriented towards the east (signifying the sunrise), followed by a Nyasa ceremony with hymns (act of touching different parts of the murti, symbolizing the presence of various gods as sensory organs:
The Hindu priest recites specific mantras and performs rituals to infuse the idol with the animating life force or "holy spirit" (prana).
During this process, the deity descends into the idol, making it a living representation [5]. After the infusion of prana, the deity is considered blessed and consecrated.
Devotees often seek the deity's blessings at this point. The ritual also includes the spraying of scented water and flowers, with the Chaksu͡unmilan ceremony (Sanskrit chakshu unmilan, "opening of the divine eye"), marking the high point of the ritual [6]. Prof. of Geology Robert M. Schoch, a tenured faculty member at Boston University, holds a Ph.D. and is credited with realizing the antiquity of ancient monuments.
Last night on Coast to Coast (coasttocoastam.com) he presented evidence that the Sphinx is thousands of years older than Egyptologists previously thought.
It's a case he has been making for decades. According to Dr. Schoch it's backed by strong geological proof. While most Egyptologists claim the Sphinx is only 4,500 years old, there are signs in the limestone bedrock that suggest the ancient monument is much older.
Marge, when were you in ancient Egypt?
"The initial thing that I saw was that the weathering on the Sphinx…is incompatible with the [arid] Sahara Desert conditions that have been there for 5,000 years," he notes. [Previously, it was lush and flooded.]

In this interview Dr. Schoch points out other ancient civilizations of great sophistication that flourished up to 12,000 years ago, most notably the Rapa Nui on Easter Island, who are thought to have built the moaiand Gobekli Tepe in Turkey (Anatolia).
"We had true civilization before the end of the last ice age," he states, adding that it's not beyond reason to think Egyptians at this time were building the Sphinx.
Prof. Schoch admits that this idea has angered many archeologists, like Egyptian nationalist Zahi Hawass (the Indiana Jones of Egyptology) who claims he is "stealing Egypt from the Egyptians."
"I always contended that I wasn't taking anything away from Egypt or the Egyptologist," he says. "I was just extending things further back in time."
On a remote island located in the southeastern Pacific, a series of large statues line the coast. Nobody knew exactly why they were built until now. A group of archaeologists from Binghamton University in New York discovered that the main water supply for the ancient inhabitants of Easter Island may be why the majority of the island’s statues are concentrated on the coasts. Rapa Nui, also known as Easter Island, has only a small amount of freshwater available for use. The archaeologists determined that the people who lived there likely depended on groundwater discharge in coastal areas as their source of drinking water. Most of the 900 statues were constructed along the coast of the island. The reason behind their location puzzled experts for a long time, but now all the pieces have come together. According to Binghamton U Prof. of Anthropology Carl Lipo, a member of the research team, the statues were situated there because fresh water was within easy reach. Prof. Schoch shares his views that a cataclysmic solar flare toppled the civilization that constructed the Sphinx, referencing ancient petroglyphs from around the world that portray such an event as being due to plasma ejections (coronal mass ejections from our sun).
"During an intense solar outburst…you would see things that would take on very distinct shapes in the sky…like cascading donuts," he explains.
"Close to 12,000 years ago, people around the world were carving the same [distinctive] images on rocks."
Prof. Schoch points out how Egyptian records thousands of years later acknowledged the Sphinx had once been struck by some kind of force more powerful than lightning, which he believes was a coronal mass ejection from the sun.
Civilization began after the last ice age?
"What are known as the dynastic Egyptians were building on a much, much earlier heritage, as they always insisted that they were," he notes.
The Sphinx's origin story is just one of the magnificent monument's mysteries. Prof. Schoch also discusses the enigmatic Hall of Records that Edgar Cayce said would be found under the Sphinx's left paw, which many believe exists and has been located. Whether it has been accessed and entered, that he doubts.
This ancient library could hold secrets about the lost civilization of Atlantis, and he tells listeners that "there's a high probability the entrance to the chamber is in [a] cliff base" [or "well" like shaft] under the sand. Stanley relays claims from NATO sources that there are different alien lifeforms (ETs) vying for control of this planet.
"They were talking about groups like reptilians, tall grays, short grays, and then the group that actually scared them…was the one that looked exactly like us, because they could literally be anywhere [living among us]," he says.

Stanley believes ETs are drawn to Earth for its natural resources. "It's the other illegal alien invasion that nobody wants to talk about," he provocatively states. According to him, they may have another motive beyond exploiting Earth's riches, and that's to prevent humans from engaging in nuclear war.
He theorizes that "maybe [that kind of] detonation…tears the fabric of the universe."
Stanley published UFO photos on his website, and it was hacked so deeply that even the server administrators could not restore access. His instinct tells him this was government interference.

"Officially, [they said] this is not a matter of national security," he stated. "Unofficially, by their actions, I would have to say that it's definitely a matter of national security."
UFOs appeared above Washington, DC over 80 times in 1952. He firmly believes top officials have gathered more information about ETs than they are letting on, saying "it would be shocking" if certain agencies didn't know the locations and motives of aliens among us.
[After all, they have surveillance methods, remote viewing programs, and ET sources of information from various groups who oppose one another, providing advanced technology, weapons, methodologies, and guidance in joint projects and departments. The US is not the only government ETs work with.]
According to Stanley, we won't have answers until the powers that be allow public discourse with known ETs, who possess technology beyond our worldly comprehension.
