Many of these pillars are richly decorated with figurative anthropomorphic details, clothing, and reliefs of wild animals, providing archeologists rare insights into prehistoric religion and the particular iconography of the period.
The 50 foot (15 meter) high, 20-acre (8 hectare) tell ("mound") also includes many smaller rectangular buildings, quarries, and stone-cut cisterns from the Neolithic, as well as some traces of activity from later periods.
The site was first used at the dawn of the Southwest Asian Neolithic period, which marked the appearance of the oldest permanent human settlements anywhere in the world.
Prehistorians link this Neolithic Revolution to the advent of agriculture but disagree on whether farming caused people to settle down or vice versa.
Göbekli Tepe is a monumental complex built on the top of a rocky mountaintop, with no clear evidence of agricultural cultivation produced to date. It has played a prominent role in this debate.
The site's original excavator, German archeologist Klaus Schmidt, described it as the "world's first temple": a sanctuary used by groups of nomadic hunter-gatherers from a wide area, with few or no permanent inhabitants.
Other archeologists have challenged this interpretation, arguing that the evidence for a lack of agriculture and a resident population was far from conclusive. Recent research has also led the current excavators of Göbekli Tepe to revise or abandon many of the conclusions underpinning Schmidt's interpretation [1]. More

Like the lost "Hall of Records," the "Emerald Tablets of Thoth" are one of the great enigmas of Ancient Egypt. Scholars consider them to be a legend concerning the gods (devas) revealing mysteries involving the ancient societies that survived the "Great Flood." Mandalas are geometric maps of Vajrayana Buddhist visionary worlds [planes of existence in Buddhist cosmology]. Appearing in both painting and sculpture, mandalas typically consist of nested squares and circles.
These geometric forms define the center of the cosmos and the four cardinal directions in the sky/space (akasha). Minutely detailed and saturated with philosophical meaning, mandalas are a feast for the eyes and mind.
For Buddhist meditators, however, they are not just images to view, but also worlds to enter. To work with a mandala, practitioners first re-create it in their mind’s eye then imaginatively enter its world.

Buddhism and Jainism belong to the "wandering ascetic" (sramana) tradition as distinct from the Brahminical (temple priest) tradition.
They rose to prominence in 700-500 BCE (Svarghese 2008, pp. 259-60; Jain 2008, p. 210; Mallinson 2007, pp. 17-8, 32-33) in Magadha (Magadha Kingdom), reflecting "the cosmology and anthropology of a much older, pre-Aryan upper class of northeastern India" (Heinrich Zimmer, 1989, p. 217) and were responsible for the related concepts of the cycle of birth and death (saṃsāra) and liberation from that cycle (moksha) (Flood, 2003, pp. 273-4, n. 9].
The wandering ascetic movements challenged the orthodoxy of Brahminical rituals (Gavin D. Flood, 1996, An Introduction to Hinduism, Cambridge Univ. Press, p. 82) inherited by Hinduism. On a much deeper level, what are Mecca and the Black Cube at its center really about?Mecca is the center of the Islamic world. But the treatment of the central edifice is an ancient Vedic ritual, more characteristic of Hinduism, honoring Saturn a planet or an anthropomorphic representation of that heavenly body (or, more likely, a visitor therefrom). Who is the god of this world? Judging by our behavior for millenia.
The powers that be (Pentagon, CIA, banking elites, and similar movers and shakers) want a Holy War. The sides? The "good" Judeo-Christian US wages endless war against "evil" Islam (Persian post-Zoroastrian asura-worship). It may be mythology and a fundamentalist interpretation of the Christian Bible, but it is motivating very serious decisions to destroy people on the basis of religion. Connection older than Hinduism and Judaism
Walking in circles, called circumambulation, is an appeasing mark of respect. It is explicitly called for in Hindu and pre-Hindu ceremonies. ("Hinduism" only began when Adi Shankara systematized disparate views and schools of thought prevalent in India around 800 CE). Interestingly, as part of the Hajj, or annual pilgrimage to Mecca, pilgrims throw stones at the Devil as if to keep bad luck away.
Hindus are under fear of evil and ill-effect from his planet Saturn. In Vedic astrology, the planetary position at the time of birth determines the future of a person. So Hindus accord immense importance to the planets, and Saturn or "Shani" is one such planet.
The "return of Saturn" as Gwen Stefani sang about might be something to fear more than to celebrate. Of course, making the best of it is always best. There's no bad that cannot lead to some good as well.
What does worldwide Mythology teach us?
The Nine Realms of Nordic mythology -- as one learns in the movie "Thor" or from deep study of Viking lore -- are space worlds corresponding to the nine planets of our solar system. (There is or was a tenth "planet," Nirbiru, but that's another matter). The "gods" (devas) hailing from these worlds came to Earth to help or conquer, pillage or lift up. This left Earthlings with very different feeling about various deities, their days, and their "stars" (planets).
Thor (Sakka, Indra) got Thursday, Saturn Saturday, and so on. This is the collective spiritual inheritance of the world, but it only remains in mythological form. We are pressed to believe it is only fantastic or symbolic. It was once very literal, and as ELenin approaches (see video below) and the "gods" (powerful extraterrestrials revered like gods) return, all will be revealed. Meanwhile, the harmful titans (called asuras in Buddhism) and reptilians (nagas) have been here a long time preparing to resist. [It's not clear where an ape-like race of forest dwellers stand.] Humans are caught in the middle, with many taking the wrong side.

The True Nature of the Gods of the Bible
The Bible-UFO Connection is a collection of hundreds of references in the Bible to flying vehicles, close encounters with extraterrestrials, futuristic weaponry, and the advanced technology of a race of superior beings known as the Elohiym.
Of course, it is not only the Judeo-Christian Bible that contains these references. They are widespread and well explained in Indian sources such as the great epics, Sumerian texts, and Buddhist scriptures.

The Bible-UFO connection is the result of research undertaken to find links in three apparently unrelated fields: theology, archeology, and ufology. In general terms, flying gods, ancient astronauts, advanced technology, and Unexplained Flying Objects in the sky.
The website (with research from Patrick Cooke and associates at the Oracle Research Institute in Berkeley, California) presents what is hidden from the public. These long hidden connections and truths were deleted and may indeed be the key to one of the world's greatest deceptions.
Cooke is an author, autonomous theologian, eschatologist, and a recognized nontraditional biblical scholar. All scriptural references are from the authorized King James version of the Bible, unless otherwise noted, and all interpretations of the original meanings of individual words are from Strong's Exhaustive Concordance.
The broad scope of this work encompasses several sections to bolster the evidence proving the existence of UFOs, ancient advanced technology, paranormal human phenomena in the Bible and the modern world, and ancient anomalous artwork and structures.
The scriptural content of this work covers over ten percent of all verses in the King James Bible, with exhaustive attention to the original meanings of all major words directly associated with any concepts presented.

The "Heavens" are full of Chariots of Fire
"Heaven" of course simply refers to our ceiling, cielo, sky, space, the above, the firmament, distant spheres (levels) of varying distances from Earth. And what the ancients called "chariots of fire" and "mounts" for the "gods" (devas and others) clearly imply spacecraft:
Although all of this is now considered mere "mythology," reports have not stopped. Stories are piling up of someone or something (plural) above the globe attempting to uplift, overtake, or otherwise involve itself in human affairs. The entire record of life on the planet -- according to the histories kept by the world's religions -- has been this way. The official word from this government is that nothing is going on. But the amazing thing is that anybody would believe our government's word on anything.
In a tantalizing detail provided by Buddhist texts -- as if the almost nightly visits from radiant extraterrestrial beings (devas) the Buddha reported receiving* were not sufficient evidence -- there is a story of the Buddha and Nanda, his brother, visiting one of these worlds.
UFOs and Bigfoot Sightings related?

*"A deva whose splendor lit up the entire grove" is how these episodes are introduced in sutras. Many take this to mean angelic messengers (gandharvas) and godlings (akasha-devas) spontaneously appearing, Arrival by brilliant spacecraft are a more likely explanation consistent with the description. That angels are easier to believe in than space aliens is a testament to the disinformation campaign we have been subjected to.

Edgar Cayce: Egypt and world history

The secret of the Sphinx and the pyramids of Giza may be hidden underneath the sand. These great monuments are products of the oldest civilization on the planet -- much older than people think. Thirteen thousand years ago, the Sphinx was frequently hit by waves and floods which came from the Mediterranean and the Nile. These covered the entire Nile Delta.
The Sphinx was often damaged by these floods. It was later repaired but in the process changed its shape and size. It is a Chimera [ki MEER ra] or hybrid creature. Over time it has had a female face, lion body, eagle wings, and a snake for a tail. It was built as a giant concrete sculpture. To solve the mystery, Egyptologists must (and already have) excavated the sites affected by those floods, which came after Ice Age melting.
The size of the stones in Egypt's pyramids does not what humans would use on a big project. They would work with smaller size blocks, as they do today. This indicates that they were built by or for larger beings, who may well have had a hand in their construction. The astronomical knowledge necessary for their alignment certainly exceeds what humans would have been capable of or found important without outside influence. The technology, work, religious practices, writing, and art all contribute to this conclusion.

The discovery of agriculture freed primitive men and women from the woes of food-gathering and [there] grew the first cities. The emergence of copper and bronze gave birth to industry and then came the epoch-making invention of writing[Note 1], which totally transformed society and ushered in what we fondly term civilization[2].
Another great leap forward was the advent of the wheel, which brought nations closer together and broadened the political and cultural horizons of people. Finally, the smelting of iron marked another phase in the story of humankind that has had fateful consequences.
In this "new" world arose the modern idea of God together with a sharpened notion of human selfhood. This phase is discernible in all the ancient religious texts of the world, the RgVeda[3], the Avesta[4], as well as the Old Testament[5] and has been roughly dated to the mid-eighteenth century BC[6] when the patriarch Abraham left Ur and migrated to Palestine.
In this "new" world arose the modern idea of God together with a sharpened notion of human selfhood. This phase is discernible in all the ancient religious texts of the world, the RgVeda[3], the Avesta[4], as well as the Old Testament[5] and has been roughly dated to the mid-eighteenth century BC[6] when the patriarch Abraham left Ur and migrated to Palestine.
The Old Testament has often stood on [a] thin line between history and myth. That many of the outstanding archaeological discoveries in Assyria and Sumer were in part inspired by references in this ancient text is a glowing tribute to its authenticity. It has also stimulated groundbreaking works of world literature like Milton's "Paradise Lost."
Incidentally, before he became a celebrated poet, Milton (1608–1674) was an ardent political activist who not only took part in the making of history but also had a considerable familiarity with the historical literature of his day[7]; yet today not all pre-historians or archaeologists would agree with his claim that [all] mankind spread from Eden[8], which was in the East as stated in the Book of Genesis. However, his concomitant assertion that even after the fall, Eden remained a principal religious center where people from the ends of the earth came "to celebrate and reverence thee" deserves to be examined with greater care. This statement cannot be dismissed as mere reverent circumlocution as it has echoes in many other independent sources.
Archaeological and historical considerations indicate that the ancient Paradise was in Seistan, which may be seen as the original home of all the ancient religions[9] of the world. More>>

1. The earliest evidence of writing comes from the fourth millennium BC Sumerian tablets which were not religious invocations but temple book-keeping records. From the later documents we get a fairly vivid picture of the ancient cults - of the myths and songs for propitiation of the Gods, for warding off the evil spirits, for celebration of harvests and weddings, and lamentations of death and defeat. The dying and subsequent reincarnation of the shepherd-God Dumuzi played a very important role in the lives of common people of Uruk and other Sumerian cities. His wife Innana was also a very powerful figure who had astral associations and was the Goddess of procreation and war.
2. What are the driving forces behind this process of civilisation, it is hard to say. A related question is why did the Stone Age people abandon the way of life that had served them well for millennia? Is it that blind monster of history or fate, the ever-increasing thirst for material goods, a mystical awareness of the supernatural and the cosmos, or a combination of all of these factors? Today there is an ever-growing realization that with the progress of civilisation our environment is continually being threatened by man-made perils. The nostalgia for the lost habitat, therefore, has now become almost an instinctive response.
3. The date of the RgVeda has been variously given as 1200BC to 1500BC by the German scholar Max Muller, 2000-1400BC by the American Sanskritist Whitney and 2400-1400BC by Haug. The date given by Max Muller is now generally thought to be rather late. The contention that Vedic society was pastoral having no knowledge of agriculture is baseless.
4. The root of the name Avesta is said to be "vid," that is, "to see," which is also the root of the name RgVeda. The extant Avesta is said to be only a part of a much larger body of scripture that existed before. It is apparently Zoroaster's transformation of the ancient tradition. There are very large overlaps between the Avesta and the [Vedas?] which is likely to have been similar to the RgVeda. Alexander the Great is said to have destroyed the sacred books of the Zoroastrians. Despite several attempts the date of Zarathustra cannot be ascertained with any certainty. This is probably due to the fact that the name signifies the holder of an office. There were many Zarathustras. Herzfeld wrote that Gomata's adversary was Zarathustra.
5. History as narrated in the Old Testament is not written from a secular viewpoint. As in the [Buddhist] Jataka [Birth-] stories, the events are seen as revealing the presence and power of God. Nevertheless, owing to the absence of a fictive Jonesian superstructure, it is more useful as a [series of] stories of real tribes in real geographical settings.
