Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival: tix on sale Jan. 7, 2015 for two weekends in April.
(AWW) What is an outdoor music "fest"? Here is a bombastic performance by South Afrikaaners Yolandi Visser, Ninja, and DJ Hi-Tek (Die Antwoord, "The Answer"), the hottest band in all of the African continent, blasting three amazing back to back tracks: "Baby's On Fire," "I Fink U Freeky," and "Never Le Nkemise 2" from the Austin City Limits Music Festival 10-14-12.

This year's line up (Goldenvoice)
Going to the Sasquatch Fest, a Hard massive, Bonnaroo, Burning Man, Water Woman this year? Why not add California's answer to the once-in-a-lifetime 60's "Woodstock" experience, our annual twin treat called the Empire Polo Field, sunburn in the desert, spend more money than Disneyland. Who would bother?

There is a great line up featuring AC/DC, Drake, Jack White, David Guetta, Kaskade, Hozier, alt-J, Tame Impala, Lykke Li, Milky Chance, Sebastian, Kasabian, Kimbra, Bad Religion, Florence and the Machine, Fitz and the Tantrums, Reverend Horton Heat, Azealia Banks, Chicano Batman, and lots of bands who had number one releases last year with more EDM than one can comfortably shake a booty at. Die Antwoord played in 2012 and was not invited back to bring down the tent again. More

(SM) Sasquatch Fest 2014, Pacific Northwest, Pursuit of Happiness, Kid Cudi, Steve Aoki remix
