Jewish Israelis against Bibi's war, for peace deal.
Demonstrations for peace and protests against Israel's genocidal war in Gaza have rocked college campuses across the US, involving millions.
About 2,500 arrests have been made as cops and university administrators try to save Jewish funding by appearing to crack down on protesters.
The widespread activism bears similarities to past student movements — but also key differences.
Come back soon, Friend. I need you dictator-to-dictator, felon-to-felon. You get me.
I got your back, Bitch. - Uh, 'Bibi.' - What did I say? - You said 'Bitch.' - Right, whatever.
Bibi the Baby Killer is backed by Blinken and US
Waves of protests against the seven-month Israeli genocide on Palestinians are roiling college campuses across the US, with students setting up encampments on central quads and taking over academic halls.
Law enforcement mostly stand by but university administrators attempt to quell the disorder, using paramilitary police departments to shut down encampments and scaring students by conducting mass arrests.
As of Monday (Labor Day, Sept. 2, 2024), more than 2,500 people have been detained or arrested in connection with the protests, according to data collected by [the corrupt paper of record] The New York Times.
The recent spread of student activism has led some to compare it to major student movements over the US War on Vietnam and racist South African apartheid.
While the recent demonstrations are still ongoing after several weeks, they are still far from the scale and disorder of movements in recent decades.

Massive protests have erupted in Israel over the government's failure to secure a hostage deal.
Public outrage followed the discovery of six hostages' bodies in Gaza over the weekend.
Bibi's blood libel lying to the world and Israel
A nationwide strike has caused disruptions to banks, schools, transportation, and hospitals.
Nearly 11 months have passed since the October 7 [Israeli set up to allow] Hamas [to] attack Israel [as a pretext for an invasion and genocide] that killed over 1,000 people and resulted in 251 hostages being seized, triggering a brutal revenge by Israel that has killed tens of thousands of Palestinians [far more than have been officially reported, many of them innocent children, most of them buried under rubble and not being counted].
Now, public sentiment in Israel appears to have reached a breaking point, with strikes across the country.
"It's a mix of grief and anger," Niv Keidar, who helped to block a major intercity highway in Tel Aviv on Sunday night, told Business Insider.

.
He said the mood had resulted in hundreds of thousands of people taking to the streets all over Israel and making the demand: "There must be a deal that will bring back alive those people that are still possible to rescue."
"For a good time call Kamala" - Trump
Sunday night saw the largest protests in Israel since Hamas retaliated for years of state oppression and humiliation provoking them [particularly on the temple mount] by Israel, with many Israelis expressing anger at Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu's government for [creating Hamas and] failing to secure a hostage-ceasefire deal.
According to The Times of Israel, some 280,000 gathered in Tel Aviv overnight. Large protests also took place in Jerusalem and Ra'anana.
I promise whatever Trump promises: wall, war...
On Saturday, the Israel Defense Forces (state-sponsored IDF terrorists, prisoner rapists, members of the "most moral army in the world" if one ignores the rape, war crimes, and of course genocide) found the bodies of six hostages in an underground tunnel in Gaza.
Israel said an autopsy showed that the hostages had been shot at close range [because of encroaching IDF murderers increasing their abuses in new surges].
A group representing the hostages' families criticized Bibi Netanyahu's government, claiming the hostages could still be alive if a deal had been reached.
Joe Rogan UNLOADS on Time Magazine for pushing ultra processed foods
(The Jimmy Dore Show) In 2023 Time Magazine ran a comprehensive story detailing the massive health risks associated with consuming processed foods (soda, chips, sugar, beer, pizza, candy, "natural flavors," preservatives, flavorants... But then in July 2024 the magazine undermined all that great reporting by running a [paid for?] piece suggesting not only that processed foods are not all THAT bad, but also that denigrating these products is — get this — racist.

ONLINE: four days, from Friday evening, Aug. 30, through Monday, aftertoon, Sept. 2, 2024
American Theravada scholar-monk Bhikkhu Bodhi from New York is holding a retreat.
.
What did the Buddha teach laypeople?
During the Buddha’s time, tens of thousands of people left the household life to take up the monastic life of wandering ascetics.
The Buddha also had hundreds of thousands of lay disciples who continued to live at home.
To guide these lay disciples, the Buddha offered a rich body of teachings to enable them to live the best life — a truly noble life — while fulfilling their household duties.
Venerable Bodhi, scholar-monk
Over four days, from Friday evening, Aug. 30, through Monday mid-afternoon, Sept. 2, Bhante (Bhikkhu Bodhi, the most prolific English translator of early Buddhist texts in the world) will lead a retreat focused on the Buddha’s teachings for laypeople.
The retreat will be based primarily on the Maha Mangala Sutta ("Great Blessings Discourse"), but Bhante will gather a vast number of [Pali canon] sutras and other texts that show how a lay disciple can walk the path to liberation while dwelling amid “the dust of the world.”
It will also provide the opportunity for those who haven’t yet “gone for guidance” (sarana) to go for guidance to the Three Jewels, the first decisive step to formally becoming a follower of the Buddha-Dharma, the Path taught by the Buddha.
This retreat will be in hybrid mode, onsite and online. The teachings will be in English only. Those who wish to join in person can come to BAUS.org (Chuang Yen Monastery, Carmel, NY) and stay from Friday until Monday afternoon.
Attend live, over Zoom, or on YouTube
Those who cannot attend in person can practice at home, participating online over Zoom or YouTube.
The monastery can accept only 50 onsite practitioners. If one applies after the 50 spaces have been filled, one will be put on a waiting list and accepted if prior applicants drop out.
If not joining in person, please join from home via Zoom or YouTube. Register to participate onsite only if making a commitment to stay for all of it until Monday afternoon. If participating only part time, please join through the online channels.
Then the rich householder Anāthapiṇḍika [the philanthropist Sudatta, the "Giver of Alms," "Supporter of the Needy"] went to the Buddha, bowed, and sat respectfully to one side. Seated there, the Buddha said to him:
“Ten pleasure seekers are found in the world. What are the ten?
We're here to have a good time, right Bri-Bri?
“One, a pleasure seeker seeks wealth using illegitimate, coercive means. One neither makes oneself happy nor pleased, neither shares it nor makes merit.
“Two, a pleasure seeker seeks wealth using illegitimate, coercive means. One makes oneself happy and pleased but neither shares it nor makes merit.
“Three, a pleasure seeker seeks wealth using illegitimate, coercive means. One makes oneself happy and pleased and shares it and makes merit.
“Four, a pleasure seeker seeks wealth using means both legitimate and illegitimate, coercive and uncoercive. One neither makes oneself happy nor pleased, neither shares it nor makes merit.
“Five, a pleasure seeker seeks wealth using means both legitimate and illegitimate, coercive and uncoercive. One makes oneself happy and pleased, but neither shares it nor makes merit.
“Six, a pleasure seeker seeks wealth using means both legitimate and illegitimate, coercive and uncoercive. One makes oneself happy and pleased and shares it and makes merit.
“Seven, a pleasure seeker seeks wealth using legitimate, uncoercive means. One neither makes oneself happy nor pleased, neither shares it nor makes merit.
“Eight, a pleasure seeker seeks wealth using legitimate, uncoercive means. One makes oneself happy and pleased, but neither shares it nor makes merit.
“Nine, a pleasure seeker seeks wealth using legitimate, uncoercive means. One makes oneself happy and pleased and shares it and makes merit. But one enjoys that wealth in bondage, infatuated, clinging, blind to the drawbacks, not understanding the escape.
See, Stewie? We're rich, we share, we get it...
“Ten, a pleasure seeker seeks wealth using legitimate, uncoercive means. One makes oneself happy and pleased and shares it and makes merit. And one enjoys that wealth without bondage, without infatuation, without clinging, seeing the drawbacks, and understanding the escape.
The first
Why, you ask? Here's why.
“Now, consider the pleasure seeker who seeks wealth using illegitimate, coercive means, who neither makes oneself happy nor pleased, neither shares it nor makes merit. That person may be criticized on three grounds: One seeks for wealth using illegitimate, coercive means. This is the first ground for criticism. One does not make oneself happy nor pleased. This is the second ground for criticism. One neither shares it nor makes merit. This is the third ground for criticism. This pleasure seeker may be criticized on these three grounds.
The second
“Now, consider the pleasure seeker who seeks wealth using illegitimate, coercive means, who makes oneself happy and pleased, but who neither shares it nor makes merit. That person may be criticized on two grounds and praised on one. One seeks for wealth using illegitimate, coercive means. This is the first ground for criticism. One makes oneself happy and pleased. This is the one ground for praise. One neither shares it nor makes merit. This is the second ground for criticism. This pleasure seeker may be criticized on these two grounds and praised on this one.
The third
“Now, consider the pleasure seeker who seeks wealth using illegitimate, coercive means, who makes oneself happy and pleased, who shares it and makes merit. This person may be criticized on one ground and praised on two. One seeks for wealth using illegitimate, coercive means. This is the one ground for criticism. One makes oneself happy and pleased. This is the first ground for praise. One shares it and makes merit. This is the second ground for praise. This pleasure seeker may be criticized on this one ground and praised on these two.
The fourth
“Now, consider the pleasure seeker who seeks wealth using means both legitimate and illegitimate, coercive and uncoercive, who neither makes oneself happy and pleased, neither shares it nor makes merit. This person may be praised on one ground and criticized on three. One seeks for wealth using legitimate, uncoercive means. This is the one ground for praise. One seeks for wealth using illegitimate, coercive means. This is the first ground for criticism. One neither makes oneself happy nor pleased. This is the second ground for criticism. One neither shares it nor makes merit. This is the third ground for criticism. This pleasure seeker may be praised on this one ground and criticized on these three.
The fifth
“Now, consider the pleasure seeker who seeks wealth using means both legitimate and illegitimate, coercive and uncoercive, who makes oneself happy and pleased, but who neither shares it nor makes merit. That person may be praised on two grounds and criticized on two. One seeks for wealth using legitimate, uncoercive means. This is the first ground for praise. One seeks for wealth using illegitimate, coercive means. This is the first ground for criticism. One makes oneself happy and pleased. This is the second ground for praise. One neither shares it nor makes merit. This is the second ground for criticism. This pleasure seeker may be praised on these two grounds and criticized on these two.
The sixth
“Now, consider the pleasure seeker who seeks wealth using means both legitimate and illegitimate, coercive and uncoercive, who makes oneself happy and pleased, shares it and makes merit. One may be praised on three grounds and criticized on one. One seeks for wealth using legitimate, uncoercive means. This is the first ground for praise. One seeks for wealth using illegitimate, coercive means. This is the one ground for criticism. One makes oneself happy and pleased. This is the second ground for praise. One shares it and makes merit. This is the third ground for praise. This pleasure seeker may be praised on these three grounds and criticized on this one.
The seventh
“Now, consider the pleasure seeker who seeks wealth using legitimate, uncoercive means, who neither makes oneself happy nor pleased, neither shares it nor makes merit. One may be praised on one ground and criticized on two. One seeks for wealth using legitimate, uncoercive means. This is the one ground for praise. One neither makes oneself happy nor pleased. This is the first ground for criticism. One neither shares it nor makes merit. This is the second ground for criticism. This pleasure seeker may be praised on this one ground and criticized on these two.
The eighth
“Now, consider the pleasure seeker who seeks wealth using legitimate, uncoercive means, who makes oneself happy and pleased, but who neither shares it nor makes merit. One may be praised on two grounds and criticized on one. One seeks for wealth using legitimate, uncoercive means. This is the first ground for praise. One makes oneself happy and pleased. This is the second ground for praise. One neither shares it nor makes merit. This is the one ground for criticism. This pleasure seeker may be praised on these two grounds and criticized on this one.
The ninth
“Now, consider the pleasure seeker who seeks wealth using legitimate, uncoercive means, who makes oneself happy and pleased, and who shares it and makes merit. But one enjoys that wealth in bondage, infatuated, clinging, blind to the drawbacks, and not understanding the escape. One may be praised on three grounds and criticized on one. One seeks for wealth using legitimate, uncoercive means. This is the first ground for praise. One makes oneself happy and pleased. This is the second ground for praise. One shares it and makes merit. This is the third ground for praise. One enjoys that wealth in bondage, infatuated, clinging, blind to the drawbacks, and not understanding the escape. This is the one ground for criticism. This pleasure seeker may be praised on these three grounds and criticized on this one.
The tenth
“Now, consider the pleasure seeker who seeks wealth using legitimate, uncoercive means, who makes oneself happy and pleased, who shares it and makes merit. And one enjoys that wealth without bondage, without infatuation, without clinging, seeing the drawbacks, and understanding the escape. One may be praised on four grounds. One seeks for wealth using legitimate, uncoercive means. This is the first ground for praise. One makes oneself happy and pleased. This is the second ground for praise. One shares it and makes merit. This is the third ground for praise. One enjoys that wealth without bondage, without infatuation, without clinging, seeing the drawbacks, and understanding the escape. This is the fourth ground for praise. This pleasure seeker may be praised on these four grounds.
“These are the ten pleasure seekers found in the world. The pleasure seeker who seeks wealth using legitimate, uncoercive means, who makes oneself happy and pleased, who shares it and makes merit, who uses that wealth without bondage, without infatuation, without clinging, seeing the drawbacks, and understanding the escape is the foremost, best, chief, highest, and finest of the ten.
“From a cow comes milk, from milk come curds, from curds come butter, from butter comes ghee [clarified butter now almost always adulterated with lard], and from ghee comes cream of ghee [crème de la crème]. And the cream of ghee is said to be the best of these.
“In the same way, the pleasure seeker who seeks wealth using legitimate, uncoercive means, who makes oneself happy and pleased, who shares it and makes merit, who uses that wealth without bondage, without infatuation, without clinging, seeing the drawbacks, and understanding the escape is the foremost, best, chief, highest, and finest of the ten.”
This is clearly not a pyramid. - What is it then? - Erosion. - By? - The swamp gas methane.
Carl Sagan, will we ever get to Mars?
(Gaia) Was Mars once home to a thriving civilization that met an untimely end by an ancient nuclear war [or something that blew out and destroyed its atmosphere as has long been reported]? Since the early days of astronomy, telescopes have spotted strange anomalies on the Martian surface, thought to be remnants of a great civilization. Recently compiled data from NASA probes bolster such notions that the red planet once bore intelligent life.
Researcher Billy Carson explains what has been found based on official NASA images of the surface of Mars.
[Is it a coincidence that Cairo means "Mars" in Egyptian? The name Cairo is derived from the Arabic al-Qāhirah (القاهرة), meaning "the Conqueror." This is due to the fact that the planet Mars, known in Arabic by names such as an-Najm al-Qāhir (النجم القاهر, "the Conquering Star"), was rising at the time of the city's founding [18]. Egyptians often refer to Cairo as Maṣr (مَصر), the Egyptian Arabic name for Egypt; Egyptians often refer to Cairo as Maṣr (IPA: [mɑsˤɾ]; مَصر), the Egyptian Arabic name for all of Egypt. More

Every year, tens of thousands of counterculture “Burners” make the journey to Nevada’s Black Rock Desert for the weeklong Burning Man festival.
But for those who haven't made the trip themselves or haven't heard of the event until now, here’s a quick rundown for what to know about Burning Man.
For Burners at heart who can’t be on the playa right now, BM is pleased to offer this livestream straight from Burning Man Central until the big fiery closer: LIVE WEBCAST
"The Man" stands alone in the Black Rock Desert. After watching over Black Rock City during the Burning Man event, pyrotechnicians ignite and burn The Man (Trevor Hughes/USA TODAY 2023).
How to watch: 2024 Burning Man livestream
Hey, maybe this year we should burn "Traylor" (Taylor Swift and Travis Kelcey) in effigy?
I totally want to go. shake it off, get naked, dance to a sick beat, but it's Travis, he's too scared.
.
What if Swift attended?
Burning Man began Aug. 24, 2024, but no one has to go there to get a glimpse of the playa ("beach"). A live webcast is broadcasting the annual festival 24 hours a day through the finale on Monday, Sept. 2, 2024.
For most of the time, the camera is pointed at the wooden effigy at the center of Burning Man. The link can be found on Burning Man's website at burningman.org/live-webcast. More:
