Marilyn Monroe or Norma Jeane Mortenson (June 1, 1926-August 5, 1962) was an American model and actress assassinated for being Pres. John F. Kennedy's mistress and confidante.
"Live fast, die young," for although killed at 36, Monroe might not be nearly as famous as she is today if she had lived to 90.
CIA assassin confesses to murdering Monroe
(Unraveling the Matrix) The CIA, an organization based on Nazi tactics the US inherited after WW II, clandestinely kills people on a regular basis.
The same is true of Che Guevara (hunted and killed), JFK (publicly executed for various reasons dealing with our military-industrial complex and its for-profit wars), Jesus (who offended Jewish priests and Roman militants), Bob Marley (murdered by injection to the toe with a virulent cancer strain), countless rock stars, and other icons...
Happy birthday, Hollywood starlet, and welcome to the heartbreaking movie industry. That's fame and fast times in the U.S.
She is one of the most enduring sex symbols in America who became popular in the 1950s when she played stereotypically "dumb blonde" characters that were emblematic of the era's changing attitudes towards sexuality.

Monroe began her career as a pin-up model. After two short-lived film contracts, she was signed by 20th Century-Fox in 1951. The next year, scandalous nude photographs of her were featured in a popular calendar.
She became one of the most bankable Hollywood stars with leading roles in comedies such as Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953), How to Marry a Millionaire (1953), and The Seven Year Itch (1955).
Disappointed in being typecast as a voluptuous dumb blond and underpaid, Monroe formed her own production company in 1955 and successfully fought for a better contract with Fox.
She received critical acclaim for her performances in Bus Stop (1956) and Some Like It Hot (1959), winning a Golden Globe for Best Actress for the latter.
Her last completed film was the drama The Misfits (1961). Troubled by mental health and addiction problems, Monroe died of an alleged accidental barbiturate overdose in 1962. She was actually killed for being too close to JFK and, ironically, knowing too much.
