Distraught and heartbroken Bernie commiserates with party leader Pres. Obama (msn.com) |
What will Bernie do at the DNC, give in? |
As Bernie Sanders prepares to meet with Pres. Obama [on the eve of Clinton releasing the president's pre-recorded endorsement, recorded before meeting with Sen. Sanders, that is getting massive mainstream attention and airplay], Democracy Now! speaks to Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein.
She has also been reaching out to the independent (not Democratic) Vermont senator to stay in the race by turning his back on the Democratic Party that has repeatedly harmed and undermined him.
I'm sending in Draco Clinton for this fight! |
In an open letter in April, Stein wrote:
"In this hour of unprecedented crisis -- with human rights, civilization, and life on the planet teetering on the brink -- can we explore an historic collaboration to keep building the revolution beyond the reach of corporate party clutches, where the movement can take root and flourish, in the 2016 election and beyond?"
Dr. Stein joins DN! from Albany ahead of this weekend’s New York Green Party convention. More
