Thanks to Roy of Hollywood Tuckman, the programmer of Something's Happening, overnight Buddhist radio on KPFK 90.7 FM, we still get to hear the great British Californian philosopher and "spiritual entertainer" Alan Watts twice a week. He comes on every Sunday morning at 8:00 am and Thursdays at midnight, along with other great Buddhist teachers, many of them via Tami Simon's Sounds True. This Sunday it was "We As Organism" Part 2. (This is Part 1, and Part 2 is up next, or hear it in the Archives right now). Los Angeles is unique in this way, excelling the original Pacifica Radio that started in Berkeley for Bay Area listeners around San Francisco. But now everyone can listen live online or in the archives for 90 days after a show has aired.
