Latin American wonders hidden in the jungle

Look at a map of the USA. The Gulf of Mexico is shown differently in each. Cuba is massive, as big as Florida, but is often minimized. All maps are politicized, which is odd since we now have low-flying satellites 20 miles up that can photograph and give us a real picture. But all "space photos" are manipulated CGI (computer generated images). They are warped, shrunken, expanded, enhanced, etcetera. There are 50,000-year-old pyramids underwater between the continental U.S. and the island nation. The mainland has Cahokia with its pyramid "mounds" in St. Louis, Missouri. A hop over the Gulf, Mexico has extraordinary pyramids in the Yucatan Peninsula and Veracruz.

Longest river in USA? M-i-s-s-... wrong

We were all raised not paying too much attention to geography. Boring. Public school is not taught to awaken and inspire, but rather to bore and humble. Get to work. And don't ask too many questions. Keep your head down.

Not paying that much attention, still, the longest river was always obviously the great Mississippi. But that has never been. Hello, have you met the Mandela Effect? Due to changes in the timeline, consensus reality, or you're just whack, it has always been the M-i-s-s...ouri. The what? Who's even ever heard of this river, much less to make it the longest? It's not limited to Missouri, and it pours into the great Mississippi.

Supposedly, Lewis and Clark started on it and continued to the Pacific Ocean on the Columbia, a river that goes west like Guns, Germs, and Steel says made this nation prosper.

Severe storm hits Midwest; sun warms SoCal

A powerful storm system is forecast to unleash heavy rain, large hail, strong winds, and thunderstorms capable of spinning up tornadoes this week across much of the south-central United States.

This area was battered just last week by deadly storms. The low-pressure system invigorated by moisture from the Gulf of Mexico began a slow, multi-day journey from Texas to the Great Lakes region on Eclipse Monday (4/8/24).

As it headed east, severe weather was expected to hit the Gulf Coast, the mid-Atlantic, and the Midwest regions, the National Weather Service said.

The threatening forecast led organizers of The Texas Eclipse Festival to end the celebration early Monday and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott to activate emergency response resources.

More than 30 million Americans from eastern Texas to Mississippi were at risk of severe weather Tuesday, when heavy rain, wind, "large hail," and several tornadoes were expected to lash the region, the storm prediction center said.

The highest risk of flooding was in the Texas Panhandle Tuesday night and the mid-South on Wednesday, the weather service said. More: More

Meanwhile, SoCal had clear skies in the L.A. metropolitan area for viewing the partial eclipse.

The super bloom is overtaking LAX, the international airport blocks from the Santa Monica Bay. Along the landing and takeoff lanes, there are more colorful flowers than anyone has ever seen.

For the rest of the region, we have had too much of a good thing, rain. The extra precipitation is holding back the explosion of desert flowers in the usual areas. Meanwhile, the streets and fields of Los Angeles are full of "volunteer" golden poppies, the state flower. They are spread by birds or the wind or guerilla gardeners, particularly in Pasadena.

And the Renaissance Pleasure Faire has arrived in the San Gabriel Valley at the Santa Fe Dam Recreational Area in Irwindale, where the 134 and 605 Freeways cross.

Illinois Adventure #1308 "Cahokia Mounds"

(WTVP) #1308 March 8, 2014. The remains of the most sophisticated prehistoric Native American civilization north of Mexico are preserved at Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site.

Within the 2,200-acre tract, located a few miles west of Collinsville, Illinois, lie the archeological remnants of the central section of the ancient settlement that is today known as Cahokia.

Cahokia Mounds has been recognized as a U.S. National Historic Landmark, and the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), in 1982, designated Cahokia Mounds a World Heritage Site for its importance to our understanding of the prehistory of North America.

Cahokia Mounds is managed by the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency.

His book draws on 400 years of newspaper articles and photos, first-person accounts, state historical records, and illustrated field reports that reveal that North America was once ruled by an advanced race of giants and also that the Smithsonian Institution has been actively suppressing the physical evidence for nearly 150 years. Giant skeletons have been unearthed at Mound Builder sites across the United States and the American continent, only to disappear from the historical record. Giants have been discovered in California, Nevada, Florida, and the ruins of their massive cities (populations 100,000+) in Arizona, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Louisiana. The evidence is suppressed in a cover up. Today these ancient mounds have no official protection and are being bulldozed to make room for parking lots. Dewhurst shows how thousands of skeletons of giants have been unearthed at Mound Builder sites across the continent, only to disappear from the historical record. He examines other concealed discoveries, such as:

Giant mummies were found in Spirit Cave, Nevada, wrapped in fine textiles and dating to 8000 BCE.

Hundreds of red-haired "bog mummies" were found in cenotes (“sinkholes”) on the west coast of Florida dating to 7500 BCE.

And there are ruins of cities of giants with populations in excess of 100,000 in Arizona, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Louisiana.
 

Suppression began shortly after the Civil War. It transformed into an outright cover-up in 1879 when Major John Wesley Powell was appointed director of the Smithsonian, launching a strict pro-evolution, pro-Manifest Destiny agenda.

Dewhurst also reveals the 1920s’ discovery on Catalina Island of a megalithic burial complex with 6,000 years of continuous burials and over 4,000 skeletons, including a succession of kings and queens, some more than 9 feet tall.
