May Day 2025 protests roil US, world
There are two "May Days" today
International Workers' Day observed on May 1st and is also called "May Day" but the two have different histories: May Day is a European festival of ancient origins marking the beginning of summer, usually celebrated on May 1, around halfway between the Northern Hemisphere's spring equinox and midsummer solstice [1, 2]
Festivities are also held the night before, known as May Eve. Traditions include:
- gathering green branches and wildflowers ("bringing in the May") [3], which are used to decorate buildings and made into wreaths;
- crowning a May Queen, sometimes with a male companion (to Jack in the Green) decked in greenery;
- setting up a Maypole, May Tree, or May Bush, around which people dance and sing;
- as well as parades and processions involving these [4].
- Bonfires are also a major part of the festival in some regions.

Would that we had the power to say to the aggrieved, "Don't not hate, do not seethe." The poison we take does not harm another. Look at the "Anger Eating Demon," who feeds on hate, who delights in seeing fair opponents become rabid enemies. (Rabies isn't good to have for the biting dog who has it). Of course we understand the sentiment. It is easy to see the folly in others, almost impossible to see it in ourselves. What does it help to hate? Rally, riot, argue, protest, or anything, but hate? It is self-defeating.

Sure Trump lies, but we don't fall for it. The Deep States lies, and we fell for it hook, line, and sinker, believing Genocide Joe Biden was an answer to the problem of Trump or that a campaign losing professional named KD Harris had half of what it would take to defeat a liar and a movement based on those lies. (It's not like he's going to do all that he says; he's a liar, after all, and he gets by on lying, telling people what they want to hear, giving hope the way a con man gives it: with nothing but regret in return).

So be at ease at heart. Rally, fight, protest, oppose, but seeing "enemy" status setting in, relax. Back away. What does a demon want other than for people to hate? Demons delight in hating. Look around. Other people are remaining sane while seeing what we're all seeing. If they can do it without coming down with the disease that is hate (dosa), so can we. A smart opponent is far stronger than a hateful one who expends all energy on negativity and harm.

Vem Miller had an unregistered loaded handgun and shotgun, a high capacity (more than 8 rounds) magazine, multiple passports and driver's licenses in different names, and homemade (sovereign citizen) license plates, which singled him out as a highly suspicious individual to be contacted. He was detained at the Secret Service inner perimeter checkpoint after getting through the sheriffs' outer checkpoint.
Oh, if only the SS had been better at their job!
He is a failed Republican candidate who got through the first checkpoint by lying and stating that he was part of the press. He was searched and arrested for possessing illegal firearms. But being white he was released after posting $5,000 bail so he could go home and erase all incriminating evidence of what he was up to if in fact he were an assassin trying to score the blood money reward the last assassin is said to have been offering. Did the Clarke County Republicans invite him, as Miller claims? Riverside County Sheriff Bianco says it doesn't matter. He is facing state charges, but the Feds are looking into it in case as coverup is needed.

He was probably just there to say hello (and goodbye) to Trump because everyone knows California just loves the big fascist fraudster who fears losing to a Black woman (or Indian or both) so much that he is going around holding rallies in states he is sure to lose.
This is to make it seem like if he had only campaigned more in swing states, he would certainly have succeeded. Anything to save face for the Orange Ego.

Donald the John Trump's Coachella rally at Calhoun Rach on Saturday with a loaded firearm [probably meant for hunting big game like the desert cougar or elk] and a high-capacity magazine, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said Sunday.

If an official allowed them in with acceptable paperwork then they are here legally and are, in a sense, Americans. Maybe it's only a temporary status but it is a status nonetheless. Will weird couch humping come up or Vance's history of crossdressing at Yale U come up? One would think he would take this opportunity to dispute it. Viewers are here to see a blood sport, a personal savaging of one another after months of buildup as the two name-call and talk about one another without ever having met. They were both in Congress and the military and the Midwest and Washington, one would think they would have met. Not so small world after all. One this is certain (if anything is because a comet may strike, a mass coronal ejection, a personal exhaustion of karma, a well-deserved military attack, a cyber strike, or the gods/devas may just bump into the switch and shut off the samsara simulation mid-game): One man will lose and we'll never hear from him again, and the other will become vice president, and we'll never hear from him again. Just ask Kosta; it's his joke:

Sen. JD Vance won on style if not substance, keeping his cool, presenting meaningful answers in a down-home Midwestern style one would have thought was Tim Walz' specialty. CBS hosts seemed fair, attacking them both and keeping on them. But Walz looked terrible, grimaced, never smiled, looked away, staring at Vance, was nervous and amped up and scared. Trump beat Biden, Harris beat Trump, and now Vance beat Walz. One might disagree with everything Trump stands for. He's a horrible candidate and was an unbearable president, but Vance is nice, not weird, and not deserving of the criticism he has been receiving.

Vance sounded honest, had obviously prepared, and made an excellent presentation. Walz may be a better guy, more down-home, but he did not come across nearly as well. Because Harris' style is much easier to swallow, in spite of her gaffes, vacuity, and changeableness, it seems a better idea to vote Harris Walz (or Hairy 'alls), but if one could elect Vance independent of Trump, that does not seem like the worst thing.

It's sad that, according to the mainstream media, this is coming down to gender, men going red as women swing blue. Yay, blue! But blue isn't what it used to be. Now it's the war party.
