Stop Trump, stop ICE: Nat'l Shutdown (1/30)

(Kim Iversen) Trump sold MAGA out with Marjorie Taylor Greene: Now it's MIGA ✡🔯🕎
(Investigative Insights TV) "You have no idea about what is really happening" | Whitney Webb
The people of the Twin Cities (Minneapolis-St. Paul) have shown the way for the whole country: To stop Trump, ICE, and the Border Patrol’s reign of terror, we need to SHUT IT ALL DOWN.
The entire country is shocked and outraged at the brutal killings executions of Alex Pretti, Renee Good, Silverio Villegas González, and Keith Porter Jr. by federal agents under color of law.

While King Dictator Trump [Israeli blackmailed] and other right-wing politicians are slandering their victims as “domestic terrorists,” video evidence from every angle makes it clear beyond all doubt: Innocents were gunned down in broad daylight simply for exercising their First Amendment right to protest mass deportation, Nazi Gestapo tactics, and other racist policies.
Every day, ICE, Border Patrol, and other paramilitary enforcers [not to call them jackbooted thugs because that would be rude] of Trump’s racist agenda are going into our American communities to kidnap our neighbors and sow fear in us.
It is time for us to all stand up together in a nationwide shutdown and say enough is enough! More

"Monopoly" created to show evils of capitalism
"How I Built This" (Planet Money, 1/25/23); Ananda; Ashley Wells (eds.), Wisdom Quarterly
"Monopoly" is a board game built around capitalism, so is its origin story
![]() |
| He used to have a monocle (Mandela Effect) |
"Monopoly" is one of the best-selling board games in history. It's been an iconic part of American life: a cheap pastime during the Great Depression, a reminder of home for soldiers during WW II, an American export during its rise as a global superpower, and a best-seller during the pandemic.
The game's staying power may in part be because of a strong American myth — the idea that anyone, with just a little cash, can rise from rags to riches.
![]() |
| Author Mary Pilon: The Monopolists |
- A man named Charles Darrow was unemployed and came up with the game to pass the time.
He took Monopoly to the game company Parker Brothers in 1934 and eventually became a millionaire.
But there's another origin story – a very different one that promotes a very different and negative image of financial exploitation capitalism (with two sets of starkly different rules on how to play it).
That story shows how a critique of capitalism (and private property) grew from a seed of an idea in a rebellious young woman's mind into a game legendary for its celebration of wealth at all costs.
Hold onto assets rather than working for salary
- This episode was produced by Emma Peaslee, mastered by Natasha Branch, and edited by Jess Jiang. It was made in collaboration with NPR's Throughline. For more about the origin story of Monopoly, listen to their original episode "Do Not Pass Go."
- The original Throughline episode was produced by Rund Abdelfatah, Ramtin Arablouei, Lawrence Wu, Laine Kaplan-Levenson, Julie Caine, Victor Yvellez, Anya Steinberg, Yolanda Sangweni, Casey Miner, Cristina Kim, Devin Katayama, and Amiri Tulloch. According to lists maintained by Forbes and Bloomberg, Adani's fortune lies somewhere between $147 billion and $152 billion, putting him at No. 2 (Bloomberg) or No. 3 (Forbes) on the lists.
Bezos currently boasts around $147 billion in total net worth, placing him third (Bloomberg) or fourth (Forbes).

Though Adani ranks ahead of Bezos in both lists, LVMH luxury goods magnate Bernard Arnault comes up second-richest in one tally and fourth in the other.
The Times of India reported that Adani increased his wealth this year by nearly $61 billion thanks to a series of deals that have seen the industrialist's portfolio expand into cement, airports, coal, and more.
Adani is the first Asian to make the top three in the list of richest people.

Bullsh*t Jobs: Myth of Modern Work

Bullshit Jobs: A Theory review -- the myth of capitalist efficiency![]() |
| The BS box tickers have taken over (Alamy) |
I had a bullshit job once. It involved answering the phone for an important man, except the phone didn’t ring for hours on end, so I spent the time guiltily converting my Ph.D. into a book.
I’ve also had several jobs that were not bullshit but were steadily bullshitized: interesting jobs in the media and academia that were increasingly taken up with filling out [bureaucratic] compliance forms and time allocation surveys.
I’ve also had a few sh*t jobs, but that’s something different. Toilets need to be cleaned. But to have a bullshit job is to know that if it were to disappear tomorrow, it would make no difference to the world: In fact, it might make the world a better place.

I had sat in the pub on many a Friday evening moaning to colleagues about data entry and inefficient meetings. But with the Martian gaze of the anthropologist, Graeber managed to articulate my plight in a way that made me feel part of some grand, absurdist outrage.
- INTERVIEW: The Nature of Work and Paying for Time - author explains the bullshit jobs (iTunes) Anthropologist David Graeber talks about how over the years the concept of time has evolved to be used for control through hourly paid work ("wage slavery") leading to the proliferation of unnecessary jobs. Why are employers in the public and private sector alike behaving like the bureaucracies of the old Soviet Union, shelling out wages to workers they don’t seem to need?
Since bullshit jobs make no economic sense, Graeber argues, their function must be political. A population kept busy with make-work is less likely to revolt. More

Our federal income TAX is VOLUNTARY

| Pay my goddamn taxes, peons. |
It's nearly April 15th. Is there a way to legally exit the U.S. Tax Club? The federal income tax is voluntary. Are American taxpayers fed up with handing over a large percentage of their hard-earned money to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) every year?
"Your income tax is 100 percent voluntary tax, and your liquor tax is 100 percent enforced tax."
- Dwight Avis, head of Alcohol and Tobacco Tax division in 1953 speech to Congress
![]() |
| See flyer (weissparis.com/assets) |
Use the law. The U.S. Supreme Court declared the Federal income tax to be unconstitutional unless the law included the population-based Rule of Apportionment. The 16th Amendment clearly excluded this requirement.
Americans can, however, VOLUNTEER to join the Tax Club. And if anyone can volunteer his or her way in, that person can also EXIT.

| Truth is, no one actually reads the Constitution |
People born in the District of Columbia and territories like Puerto Rico do not have the Constitutional protections that are inalienable to [not able to be taken away from] other Americans.
It's up to you to clarify your true and correct status as a sovereign Constitutional American. The Revocation of Election Weiss+Associates offers meets the criteria for opting out of the Tax Club -- an option provided by the U.S. Congress, not Weiss+Associates.
This frees you from any obligation to file and pay the U.S. Federal Income Tax for the current tax year plus all future years.

Weiss and associates understand many live in fear of their government, and part of that comes from the repeated silence from government employees -- your servants. It is their responsibility to inform We The People (whom they serve) on legitimate questions regarding the law.
THE LAW applies to the government AS MUCH as it applies to the People. And it is your job -- as the sovereign -- to demand they follow the law.
Read (and re-read) Weiss+Associates' Mission Statement above. If you correspond with a government employee, require of them to show you THE LAW, and reject any hyperbole they may offer to dance around the key subject of jurisdiction.
No government employee or agency has EVER shown us THE LAW as it relates to an obligation upon American Nationals (those living and working in the Constitutional Republic) to file a Form 1040 without first making an election.
Most critical-thinking people can assume this equates to the fact that no law exists. If you remain skeptical, the truth is self-evident. Force your government to answer the key element: SHOW ME THE LAW!
If they ever produce such a document, please forward it to Weiss + Associates, because its 25+ years of research has shown that the Federal Income Tax was only levied upon the National Government without apportionment. More

BOOK: Former Wall Street insider Nomi Prins
shows how the 2007-2008 financial crisis turbo-boosted the influence of
central bankers and triggered a massive shift in the world order. Central
banks and international institutions like the IMF (International Monetary Fund) have overstepped
their traditional mandates by directing the flow of epic sums of
fabricated money without any checks or balances. Now we have market manipulation and asset bubbles with government
support. More
