Mandy Kahn: I LIKE PEACE (Nov. 13)

.
This is the third installment of Mandy Kahn's event series I LIKE PEACE. It takes place Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at the Philosophical Research Society on Los Feliz in Hollywood.

She’s thrilled that psychedelic Indian music collective Liberate Elemental Forces will be the live musical guest. They’ll be joined by their guru, Tabla Master Pandit Shashanka Bakshi.

Pandit is a world treasure, trained from the age of six in the art of tabla (a kind of Indian bongo drum). He is the most senior disciple of legendary tabla maestro Pandit Samta Prasad.

It’s a miracle that he’s visiting from India and will be a part of Wednesday’s performance. Not only doe she look forward to hearing them play, but also to speaking with each of the collective's members about how they build peace into their lives.
