[Party] Mob in downtown LA damages buildings, stops trains | FOX 11
Allies against racist police abuse of POC
(LAFOX 11 Los Angeles) May 25, 2025: A massive "mob" of people [young partygoers utilizing the rooftop of an empty warehouse] in downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) spray-painted and damaged dozens of buildings and even stopped two Metro trains, according to riot police who assembled to beat and disperse them with impunity].
What happened?
Hurt people hurt people. (Officer Cartman)
(ABC7 News) The LAPD said they received a call about a "large group disturbance" at Trinity Street and E Washington Boulevard. That's where more than 1,000 people had gathered for an unpermitted party [on the rooftop of] an abandoned warehouse. As officers arrived, things [coincidentally] escalated [which had nothing to do with their aggressive provocations to intimidate and establish dominance like prison alphas armed-and-extra-dangerous with paramilitary equipment, firing rubber bullets, which are not rubber but deadly cannons that can maim and kill]. The out-of-control vandals tagged businesses [with aerosol spray cans], a police vehicle, and the interior and exterior of two Metro A-line trains with graffiti. No passengers or operators were hurt, but service was delayed for 20 minutes. [The initial strike force called for backup and reinforcement.] Police [arrived] in riot gear [and] eventually moved in, firing rubber bullets after issuing multiple [muffled] warnings [threats] to disperse [or else]. According to the mayor's office, the crowd even assaulted some officers [tossing empty plastic water bottles in their direction and flipping them off with offensive hand gestures and running away instead of making easy targets], with one requiring medical attention after [allegedly] being struck in the face with a bottle [or something, perhaps the officer's own baton, helmet cover, weapon, cuffs, or shield]. More
[No one is defending senseless vandalism, but it makes sense to strike back if The Man, cops known as the abusive LAPD, which represents all Los Angelenos, particularly the business-owners who support cops, to bear the brunt of police abuses. Bringing out a paramilitary riot squad (with spies, police informants, and plenty of agent provocateurs in the crowd to provide the pretext for institutional violence against citizens) and releasing them on unarmed and peaceful partygoers, it's NO WONDER those partygoers would tag up the town, spray graffiti, break windows, and otherwise what others misjudge as "their own city." It's not their city. It belongs to businesses and the Goon Squad paid with taxes to protect business-as-usual. "F the police," people will say for exactly this reason. What reason? "We make revolution inevitable when we make political participation impossible."
People act out exactly because they are denied their voice. What voice do youthful partygoers have in this megalopolis? They can party. They can spray paint. They can make trouble on the weekends in the veil of anonymity. Bring them in and make them vested in this town with a future, and they wouldn't act this way. It is the explanation for every riot (uprising) we have in this city, and it's been going on for many decades since the Zoot Suit Riots, Watts Riots, the Rodney King Riots, Occupy Movement Riot, and it's a wonder that the recent case of police being acquitted of the most serious charges of depriving a citizen of his civil rights, Tyre Nichols Trial verdict: 3 former Memphis officers found not guilty in fatal beating of Black motorist [who, admittedly, was Black while driving and maybe giving the officers a little attitude], which seems to happen at least once a week. Hmm, what is this the fifth anniversary of?George Floyd: May 25th.]

What to know about Saturday's nationwide "Hands Off!" anti-Trump protests
"Hands off my benefits..." 3/14/25 (Jeremy Hogan/SOPA/LightRocket Images via Getty Images).
.
My PR firm said US would love me. It's shocking
Imagine a map of at least 1,000 Anti-Trump and Musk events being planned across all 50 states for Saturday, April 5, 2025.
It's real and interactive (created by Kavya Beheraj for Axios) and shows a significant concentration in the Northeast, West Coast, and Rust Belt as part of the new Hands Off! Movement (handsoff2025.com). Events planned outside the U.S. are not shown.
We have to arrest vandals who did these things and deport them to prison or capitalism is at risk.
.
The nationwide Anti-President Trump Movement "Hands Off!" is expected to be the largest single-day protest this Saturday since the Orange Menace entered office. Why it matters:
I'm here to Make Israel Great Again (MIGA).
The Trump administration's wide-reaching and ground-shaking policies have mobilized a varied cross section of Americans affected by political, economic, social and legal changes.
"This is not just corruption," the Hands Off! website says. "This is not just mismanagement. This is a hostile takeover."
By the numbers: More than 1,100 rallies, visibility events, and meetings were scheduled in all 50 states as of Wednesday (April 3, 2025) afternoon.
Organizers said they had gotten nearly 250,000 RSVPs as of March 29.
R'n'r for freedom? Support brave journalism
The latest: White House Garden tours scheduled for Saturday were postponed to Sunday in anticipation of D.C. protests, First Lady Melania Trump said on Thursday.
State of play: Protesters are rallying against several Trump administration policies, including its handling of Social Security benefits, layoffs across the federal workforce, attacks on consumer protections and anti-immigrant policies and attacks on transgender people.
The protests are also against Elon Musk's involvement in the federal government via DOGE — after he's already faced a wave of [vandalism and] demonstrations at Tesla dealerships worldwide via the #TeslaTakedown movement.
The Hands Off! demonstrations will occur at state capitals, federal buildings, congressional offices, and city centers.
Dozens of advocacy organizations are partnering to support Saturday's action, including the Center for LGBTQ Economic Advancement & Research, Declaration for American Democracy, the Human Rights Campaign, Indivisible and Planned Parenthood.
Two out of two women agree, these sh*ts suck
What they're saying: "This is a nationwide mobilization to stop the most brazen power grab in modern history," the movement's website said. "Trump, Musk, and their billionaire cronies are orchestrating an all-out assault on our government, our economy, and our basic rights — enabled by Congress every step of the way." Welcome to Trump's America. Left-wing demonstrators shouting for boycotts of Tesla outside a dealership in Salt Lake City, Utah, were met with American flag-waving [MAGA-type] supporters of [King of the Rich] Elon Musk.
This clash over the electric car manufacturer comes as Tesla dealerships and owners have been the victims of vandalism in recent weeks. In one case, a suspect set a Tesla service center in Las Vegas, Nevada, ablaze using Molotov cocktails, damaging five vehicles.
Attorney General Pam Bondi charged three people with allegedly vandalizing Teslas across the country, and all three face as many as 20 years in prison.
Friday's clash of protesters did not result in any damages to Tesla vehicles. The two groups countering each other seemingly resulted in a non-violent demonstration.
“Everybody has a right to their own opinion; I don’t have a problem with it,” one pro-Tesla demonstrator named Jason Stembridge told Fox 13 Now.
“I’m here to just support the company and keep the peace and make sure none of the Teslas get vandalized or damaged. It ain’t his business that’s causing the problems.”
Gov. Spencer Cox (R-UT) has discouraged the protests, suggesting those against Tesla were not "helping" their cause during a Thursday press conference. More:
(Steveo, Summer 2024) I’m not an attention 'hore, more an attention pimp. Just ask Johnny Knoxville. I’ve had this tattoo idea for a long time, before the movie Jackass, and it finally happened (but only after the movie because Johnny chickened out and wouldn’t let me do it on camera for our MTV film). I told Post Malone to tattoo a dick on my forehead, giving penis tattooing a whole new meaning. You thought a Prince Albert was bad. At least that's hidden. It wasn't my first bad tattoo idea:
"Getting dumb, regrettable tattoos has been a hobby of mine for decades, and many of them arguably went too far. One, in particular, was such an unbelievable disasterpiece, I'm hereby asking you all for ideas to further transform it into something I can feel really good about. Please check out the video and leave your tattoo-cover-up suggestions in the comment section. Thanks!"- Steve-O, July 2019.
This is no joke! Well, it's kind of funny. Use condoms - Jackass too hot for MTV, so it goes Hollywood
It's not gay if...whatcha say?!

Buddhist Sri Lanka faces a nationwide blackout because, officials claim, a monkey caused a power outage (WION Dispatch)
(WION) Feb. 10, 2025: The Buddhist majority island nation of Sri Lanka (the teardrop off the tip of southern India formerly named Serendib and Ceylon), not far from the Maldives, was plunged into a nationwide power crisis. A monkey did it, allegedly. The unexpected electrical outage has sparked debates over infrastructure security and energy reliability in the island nation.

Trump starts the world’s dumbest trade war, doubles down on DEI, and turns on California's faucet
(Jimmy Kimmel Live) Feb. 3, 2025: Punxsutawney Phil emerged and declared six more weeks of winter, Kanye West showed up on the Grammys red carpet despite not being invited, Illuminati member Will Smith was in attendance ostensibly to honor Quincy Jones (but really to remediate his destroyed reputation and that of his blank ex-wife), NBA star Luka Doncic somehow got traded to LA in maybe the most shocking move ever, Do Jo Trump is still posting about all of the water he thinks he sent Southern California, the White House is continuing to double down on his nonsensical assumption that DEI caused the tragic air crash last week in Washington, on Saturday Trump issued tariffs on Canada and Mexico before un-issuing them today, the Wall Street Journal ran an editorial saying his tariffs would cause the dumbest trade war in history, and a brand new declassified files edition of Lie Witness News.

It is strange how some days on the calendar have too much going on. We have to parties to choose from when we were expecting to enjoy the annual punk rock festivities at the Disneyland House of Blues. California life is tough. Not all SoCal punk bands held up, but the Vandals sure have. Their line of classic singalong songs are a strange juxtaposition to all the capitalist holiday fluff and fanfare. Outside the club, in Disney Town, there's endless shopping, eating, and baby-raising; meanwhile, inside, there will be a festive pit, moshing, jumping around, yelling and screaming the lyrics, and see what insane thing the bassist gets up to. Our personal favorite Vandals' song is "Urban Struggle" (aka "I Want to Be a Cowboy"). It's like, what's the use of Halloween if one can't let loose? Kwanchannukkmas is worse, tinsel for the masses, so this is a fun annual event to consider: The Vandals 29th Annual Christmas Formal | House of Blues Anaheim, OC

WARNING: Absolute filth, garbage, this should be illegal! This seems to be some band Tees OL, Tee Sol, singing some kind of, can't understand a word the fat blond man (political candidate, father, and author Jack Grisham) is saying about being in high school in the Southbay looking for love, but look at that crowd kept far from the stage for only $200 a ticket. ;)
Our dream has finally come true. See, I told you if we kept praying and spiking our hair.
Mother, the original Misfits are back to get everyone to sing along (Concert Archives.org)
Mike Muir and Suicidal Tendencies sing their MTV hit "Institutionalized"
Oh, hells yeah, I'll be there wearing a sexy outfit!
The Warped Tour is back at the Pomona Fairplex -- only now it's the once in a lifetime "NO VALUES" concert (so named after an old Black Flag song).
It's a Goldenvoice production (Coachella, Stagecoach, etc.), conveniently located in Los Angeles County, out by the fairgrounds, right next to Orange County, just off of the largest freeway in the country (the Interstate 10). It close enough for everyone in the IE and San Berdoo, too. The rest of the world is out of luck.
Decline of Western Civilization, 1
Imagine a show so big that it reunites the original Misfits (not just Danzig), Social Distortion. Iggy Pop (he's still among the living?), Bad Religion, Sublime [no Rome], FEAR [w/ Lee Ving], The Dillinger Escape Plan, Power Trip, The Damned, Suicidal Tendencies, The Vandals, Black Flag, L7, TSOL, [what no Germs or Circle Jerks?], Steve Ignorant of Crass, The Jesus Lizard, The Exploited, The Dead Milkmen, The Adicts, Agent Orange, Adolescents, Cro-Mags...
Hillbillies can't play piano! Where would they practice, the trailer park?
Nu-metal gets carried away with mega-fest in Vegas heat: SOAD, Korn...
Not just punk but ska and other genres, too. The lineup continues with Fishbone, The Aquabats, The Selecter, The Untouchables, The Skeletones, [what, no Save Ferris?], Ceremony, Fidlar, Hepcat, Joyce Manor, MS Paint, Scowl, Shattered Faith, Soul Glo, The Bronx, The Dead, The Lawrence Arms, The Mourning Noise, Turnstile, Viagra Boys [or is that the Cialis Girls?], and a bunch of other vital bands from way back when.
(Punk Rock MBA) Punk show etiquette with dad Finn Mckenty, MBA
Anyone who thought going to Las Vegas to see the Sick New World Fest has got to think this is probably a good idea, too. It's bound not to have all the technical issues that event suffered from. And best of all the Dead Kennedy's original singer, Jello Biafra, will have a DJ set [of all Alternative Tentacles bands?] So expect some snark but precious little "California Uber Alles." It's not cheap, so plan ahead. More
The name of the show, we would guess, comes from an old Black Flag song:
LA hardcore punk band Black Flag performs their anti-hit "No Values"
