Herman Cain: The new Sarah Palin?

The Republican Frontrunner

America has a very capable [half] black president. Yet we have not lost sight of the fact that there is still a great deal of racism in this country. Obama has proven he can do the job just as well if not far better than Pres. Bushcheney.

But we often wonder what's to come. What would it take for Sarah Palin to get elected -- picking Donald Trump as a running mate, lots and lots of spray on tan?

Would she then be welcomed back by the scandal-loving right wing media and working class whites? BlackPlanet decided to find out. But attention is being consumed by colon cancer victim Republican/Tea Party candidate Herman Cain, who seems to be taking Palin's place in the distraction-media.

This has become more apparent after the humiliation it suffered when Sarah's emails were released showing how much of her act had been staged political theatre, public relations, and a strategic deception. Cain, attempting to make waves and a name for himself, recently said:
  • “Barack Obama is more of an international,” Cain said. “I think he’s out of the mainstream and always has been. Look, he was raised in Kenya, his mother was white from Kansas, and her family had an influence on him, it’s true, but his dad was Kenyan, and when he was going to school he got a lot of fellowships, scholarships, he stayed in the academic environment for a long time. He spent most of his career as an intellectual.”
This quote is from Jeffrey Goldberg’s piece on and interview with Cain in Bloomberg News. Cain is late on the Birther business but, funded by the Koch brothers, he has a lot to say.
